That was one of my favorite things about the game. 2006 Dwyane Wade felt lighter then LeBron James. When you played with 2006 Wade you felt his speed and athleticism but he still felt weighted. In contrast when you played with LeBron James you felt even more weighted but he wasn't lumbering around the court, he still had the speed and athleticism but it didn't feel artificial or weightless/sped up. You still felt his physical presence just moved at a quick locomotion like LeBron James actually does. I'm not interested in going back to weightless skating all over the court and unrealistically quick animations that look unnatural.

Yeap i intentionally tested different players on blacktop. My feelings exactly.

I’m talking after patch 3 now, so you may check back on that afterwards.

The issue is some guys are seeing things in Play Now and I only play in my league. No other modes, so I try to figure where guys are playing to test. I thought it was a little too fast last night before patch, but I pushed up sim slider for Pace a ton. My game speed is at 50. How low do you have it?

I played a couple hours this morning. I still think the gameplay is pretty great. I was having hard time guarding DeRozan at first, he did feel a bit quicker than maybe what he should've been but after playing a bit I got used to it. Gameplay feels different than 2k19 to me, I think it's better.

VERY happy to hear under the basket tendency glitch has been fixed. Really hope they can continue to work out the bugs in MyLeague. Even though I usually buy the game day 1 this is another reason to wait for opening day rosters before I really get my MyLeague started every year. Not only does it give me more players to possibly draft when I do my annual fantasy draft BUT it also gives a bit of time for some bugs to hopefully be ironed out.

I don't think I've ever been completely unsatisfied with an NBA 2k purchase and I've owned every one with the exceptions of 2K, 2k1, and 2K6. Some years are better than others but I always get my money's worth....I don't ever buy additional VC though.

Just took Lebron for a spin. He still has that big plant when taking off from a stop and needs 2-4 steps when stopping. Weightiness is still there. Is he quicker in a straight line? I don't know. Maybe.

After patch, I'm not noticing a real change in speed tbh. All Star default off line Play Now...

I am noticing the cpu is not calling timeouts again. Picked random teams and the Hawks were down 20 to the Nets (me) in the 2nd qtr I had multiple players hot and the cpu never called a TO. Before this patch the cpu was calling multiple timeouts even early in the 1st qtr.

Also, I'm sure it has nothing to do with the update but the cpu offense is just bad. First six possessions of the game Tray Young dribbled the entire possession forcing his way into the paint for contested layups. I even had Kevin Heuter, Jabari Parker, and Evan Turner dribble entire possessions trying to get into the paint before shooting a contested shot right before a shot clock violation. Dribbling 20 seconds of the shot clock.

The game isn't going to feel how it did to you Day 1.

Of course it feels faster now than it did to you on Day 1. It was a completely new game with an entirely different movement system from 19 and it was your first time playing it. A week later of playing the game, you've most likely adjusted to the game speed now and are just better at the game.
