I think that could quite easily be fixed by doing a MyLeague rating adjustment on perimeter defence for all centers, but yes you're right, annoying that has to be done.



I think people are just equipping more defensive badges now tbh - I was missing easy steals until I got interceptor on my player, now I'm getting way more tips and steals, and I'm sure once I have it on silver or gold I'll be nabbing them in the same cheesy way we all did in 2k19 lol

basically the my player meta is choose your cheese lol



ngl these were my impressions playing Play Now and MyLeague when I first got the game, I've not played those modes since as I've managed to enjoy MyCareer and Rec a lot, but I do really hope this isn't just how the game is on CPU and h2h games.

I'm gonna wait for a few sliders to come out that really slow that down before I delve into those modes and gameplay.

I just find it peculiar you said you didn't experience any of this out of the box.

bolded the main issue for me that I have with 2k20 - Mike Wang answered a tweet about it saying its a thing they're still actively working on, which I appreciate, but have never really had complaints about this before in a 2k and thats disappointing.



you can hold the icon you want to pass to to lob and double tap to bounce pass. discovering this has made me so happy, hope you get to enjoy that too.

I started mine, put my ps4 in rest mode and about 30 or 40 minutes I was on the hardwood...thank God for Charter Spectrum internet, I pay enough every month for that luxury though lol.

In my career now it feels like my player is literally sliding across the court at times I guess due to the increase in speed(I'm not even pressing turbo)? Its causing certain animations to speed up and not play out right to me especially with the A.I. I'm not a fan so far....ugh

Haven't had chance to play on the new patch but of the clips/videos I've seen it looks much faster. Player movement up and down the floor as well as animations.

Hopefully once I play it doesn't feel too much quicker. It was perfect before.

Everything looks and plays great but games still dropping randomly. There isnt even lag so i dont get it..

I didn't buy this on opening day so I don't have any previous experiences to base my opinions of 2k20 on. My only gameplay experience is after patch 1.03. I have enjoyed my brief time with it so far and it feels like an obvious upgrade to 19 from both a visual and gameplay standpoint. The game looks much more vibrant in comparison to 19 (Xbox one s). Gameplay feels very smooth to me and guys definitely feel like they have weight to them. You can really set people up with dribble moves this year and use a defender's aggressiveness against them. Playing defense is back to being fun again as well. CPU is a little to hell bent on getting in the paint out of the box though. Once Czar gets into team tendencies in the regular season that may change.

I was also blown away how much difference there was between WNBA gameplay and NBA. I was kinda expecting a copy and paste job of putting female scans in and just calling it WNBA. The gameplay feels entirely different from the NBA and that is a true compliment to the 2k devs.

I'm also very happy that 2k has added the ability to use custom rosters in blacktop but I'm pissed off they still have those pathetic ringers and ballers shirts(just use team jerseys already 2k!)

The substitutions at half are broken. Game used to always reset to starters for the second half and it doesn’t this year. It’s worse since the quick sub (down arrow) fails too. I will hit down, select starters and it just ignores it.

Cpu has shot the three better lately. Not sure if they got an outside shooting boost vs small sample size.

Played a game last night and the dribbling since the patch feels amazing to me both with the right stick and left stick. Before the patch it seemed like my dribble moves were delayed and felt a bit sluggish. I actually like all of the movement better now even though the bigs seem to move a tad bit faster the speed differentials and the footplanting are still there. I might try a game with game speed on about 48 tonight, might be easy to find a sweet spot for that. Overall the game is still playing a great game of basketball.

I created this petition here adressing some solutions to the biggest problem which is the fact that we can't change quarter length.
