I can think of a few reasons why patch notes are no longer included:

1. Too many things to patch means people will complain how they released a game with some of the listed bugs

2. People will complain that the bug that annoys them isn't fixed - potentially because not many bugs were fixed or much content was added

3. The size of the patch doesn't even remotely correlate to the fixes listed and poses more questions/complaints

4. They are so busy fixing things that patch notes are not high on the list of priorities

Does anyone think that the offline gameplay is different now? Like it’s a lot faster now?

Well the rebounding takeover is completely broken because it no longer shows where the ball is going to go upon misses. At least in the park anyways.

Not sure what the point of the take over is now.

The only thing I can think of is art updates. Players, old school or maybe added sound files?

Anybody notice anything with the gameplay?

Guys, just because it is a 25 GB update, doesn't mean that it's 25 gigabytes of changes.

There might be a 5 GB file for player graphics, even if they only change one small piece of sweat for players, they are editing the 5 GB file so the whole thing has to be re downloaded.

This happens with elder scrolls online as well. Small fixes still ends up being a 20 GB patch.

I hope they change the update system in the next gen consoles. I'm sure it's a lot of tedious work and requires changes from the ground up to make the foundation of their game a bunch of separate files. Probably harder as a developer to patch that way too. But it needs to be done to fix these larger unnecessary patches.

Patches are necessary but it doesn't mean it needs to be 20 GB. At least in the future hopefully

Hold R2 and RS Down, it's in his package from some other step backs now.

PS: Ofcourse I'd rather them fix PS4 Pro FPS drops and Stuttering than adding Harden one leg step back which he hasn't done in any NBA game yet. I want to play a smooth game yet all i can do is 48 minutes choppines of a per se AAA game sold 70 Euros (469TLs in Turkey) after 6 big patches and more than a month post release. Way to go 2k. Would you like me to give you more money so that you can fix PS4 Pro issues ? I get pissed from time to time which i have every right to. Sorry.

one thing I've noticed since the latest patch...

the second half of rec games are very laggy. It's like impossible to play defense. before the patch my lockdown was getting 4 steals and 2-3 blocks per... now like 1 and 1. and almost all my def. stats come in the first half now. my player even when the stamina is near 95-100 plays like he's drunk. I've noticed others guys not getting many steals or blocks either.
