Now my next question.

When your in the pregame loading screen/locker room. Are your stats strictly rec league stats ?

They can’t be. I see mans at like 19 ppg and putting up goose eggs.

They’re strictly rec but shared across characters

For shooting badges, the quick release ones. Doe the actually/physically speed up the release of

I like what badge says it will do but I don’t want to re-learn a new release.....

Maybe I should get the badge that decrease the effect of a defender jumping at your shot (forgot what that was called).

I like what badge says it will do but I don’t want to re-learn a new release.....

Maybe I should get the badge that decrease the effect of a defender jumping at your shot (forgot what that was called).

Quick draw speeds up your shot speed and animation.
So if you shoot on feeling/timing, you’re gonna need to adjust.

If you shoot of the animation, you can equip the badge as the release remains the same.

And deadeye is a must have badge aswel, unless you only take wide open shots.

Steady shooter is less viable, unless you have enough shooting badge and you plan on shooting in traffic a lot, where defenders are already contesting you when you go up for the shot

Ok. I do not want to speed up my release.....so I’m not messing with that.

I have corner specialist at HOF now. I can bang anything from the corner if I’m open.

So get dead eye, that’s the badge that decreases the opponent jumping at you ?

I also got contact finisher, even though I’m 5-7, I want my guy to bang inside, old school Kevin Johnson style....

Honestly the difference between corner hof and corner bronze is negligable if you’re limited in badges.

Guys.....I’m kidding........I’m just pushing buttons.

I’m the first guy to sacrifice my stats to get the dub.

But I can tell within the first minute if we have a chance or are going to lose by 40....once I get that feeling that the bulldozer is coming.

I’m all about my PPG and increasing it. I started off at like 5 ppg now I got my guy to like 15.8 PPG......want to raise that to 20.

Yeah man, of course.

I’m hitting this mode so hard because the nba season is on hold, my rec league is on hold, my kids basketball is on hold, the virus/staying at home.....etc.

It’s filling the void right now. But it is a good mode, as a rec league player myself, I appreciate it.

Also, don’t forget I’m a 5-7 scoring threat, I average 15.8 ppg and 4.9 apg.....I don’t fill the stat sheet anywhere else, no blocks, no rebounds, maybe a steal per game, no interior defence (strictly perimeter).

You’re better off with hot zone hunter then corner once you’ve got the corner hot zones you can use hot zone to give you a boost potentially all over the court, deadeye is a good one as well

I hear you. Once I 100% committed to REC/MyCareer, I was like "Hmmmm, this mode is really not that bad.". It's definitely a time sink in the beginning. Once you get your badges and overall up, it's a descent competitive mode. Then you discover how stupid gamers really are about basketball, lol.

After playing mostly PNO today, I discovered that I can tolerate stupid players more than the cheese tactics of PNO. PNO be making me want to throw my controller at the wall.
