Starting to think there's something really up with 2K players in Rec. Like they was raised wrong or something lmao. Screw or 2 loose. 5 games in a row, same madness. I guess I'm stupid to keep playing, expecting 'hey they can't ALL be like this right?'

We need Rec Badges in next year's game, dynamically earned based on how you play. That would be beautiful.

- High Eqo Low Iq Badge
- Volume Shooter Low FG% Badge
- Buddy Baller BFFS4EVER Badge
- Troll Badge
- Scared of ProAm Try Hard Squad Badge
- No Defensive Awareness Badge
- No Court Vision Badge

Yes I'm just putting the word badge after negative traits from Rec players

I swear 90% of the time this is what the experience is smh

And then if there could be positive badges

- Team Player Badge
- High IQ Badge
- Clutch Badge
etc

That'd be kinda cool if you could earn Rec specific badges that were actually taken from your gameplay data and the stuff that makes up teammate grade.

went into rec solo last night and had a pg who shot 4/22. i’ve had bad shooting nights myself but i tend to miss open looks on off nights this guy was taking contested 3’s time and time again.

he couldn’t even make a simple pass his game was to come down the floor and chuck if he couldn’t shoot he turned it over.

played another game where the pg averaged 5 assists but he didn’t pass. another score first guard who only passed to his buddy at the 2. me and the pf were cones all game. these people shouldnt create pgs

Most people in this game are like that. It's too the point i made 2 PFs that can coast to coast rather easily. One is a Paint Beast with Gold Quick First Step and a 61 ball control. The other has less dunking, more shooting, better ball handling with HOF Quick First Step and 70 ball control. Both are 6'9 with Speed With Ball in the 70s. Difference is the shot. I'm not good enough with him yet that i can stop and pop from distance yet. But often times a cross or behind the back gets me all the way to the rim. My paint beast finishes better, but the other big rebounds relatively well and i can play spot up effectively. Had to give up on the idea of my paint beast as a floor spacer. I thought it'd be possible with skill, but the ratings are just too low. 60/50 shooting ratings are not good enough to be consistent. But he's fun.

The new build needs more badges, but he's a jack of all trades.

People simply have a low basketball IQ and/or are just bad at this game.

92 and under its the worst.

OMG! I played a game last night where both of the PGs had 5 turnovers each, but was shooting their asses off like they were scoring all the points. Well, technically they were, but it was due to them not passing the ball while taking an abundance of shots leading to a terrible FG%. Having played PG first before using a C build, I be wanting to smash my head against the wall when watching other people play "PG". I have gotten to the point of calling people selfish when they have a big running in front of them on a break, but they go ahead and take the dunk instead of feeding their big.

On one possession, I barely got to half-court, because the other team rushed to attack the paint and missed the shot. I started running back on offense. The other big made an outlet pass to the guard near half-court. I thought he was going to pass it to me for the easy assist since I hadn't scored any points (0 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 blocks), but this fool gets the pass and makes a beeline for the rim while his defender was hip riding him. He got lucky and managed to pull off a contested dunk due to his defender jumping, but I was livid. When I'm the PG, I always pass it ahead for the easy assist. I definitely pass it if a big is in front of me, since they rarely get to eat on offense.

I'm sorry, but passing lane steals are NOT overpowered. Players are just dumb as rocks and don't know how/when to pass the ball. Rather than learn how, they prefer to just try to play hero ball or dance behind screens. I'm not going to front. When I play with my C, I RARELY give my guards screen. Fools better learn how to break people off the dribble like I did, and I'm the farthest thing from a Dribble God.

I really do wish that the game wouldn't create matchups where there's a large difference in overalls. My C is 71, and I got matched up against a 91 overall. My matchup went off for 30 points and 30 rebounds on me. I tried, but clearly he was more badge and ratings heavy than my build. I relatively held my own with a 15, 10, 5, 2 steals, and 3 blocks stat line, but it wasn't enough. On the bright side, we only lost by 2 points.

I really do wish that the game wouldn't create matchups where there's a large difference in overalls. My C is 71, and I got matched up against a 91 overall. My matchup went off for 30 points and 30 rebounds on me. I tried, but clearly he was more badge and ratings heavy than my build. Try the Box badge on bronze even. I've found that maintaining position under the rim is much easier with this badge. If he gets his rebounding takeover he'll still push you out of the way. But since my bigs are all undersized once i put this on i immediately saw the difference.

Also it helps if you can pull your man away from the rim on defense. If you can stretch the floor it makes it to where they have to beat you on the glass when they're on offense only.

Basically if you can maintain your positioning between him and the rim while you're on defense, box, then get the board. Then when you come down on defense make to it where he can't just camp and wait for the defensive rebound then you can usually manage even the best rebounders.

I would definitely advise having Bronze box before Gold Chaser. Chaser is one of the best badges in the game, but Silver is good enough when paired with Box. Basically, if you have a hand on him, wherever he is you can box FASTER. It's not so much that it's impossible to swim around with Bronze, but it gives you a half second sooner to have him sealed. This often lets me have them sealed outside the paint even. Before this badge, i would try and seal them outside but they would just shove past me. This at least cuts down on their chances.

When I go up to the door it says the team practice facilty is closed until after your next game is played ?

I simmed the first game, didn’t work ?

I then played the second game and after tip off simmed
To be end, didn’t work ?

What do I have to do ? Fully play a game to unlock it ?

My kids want to fool around with the team practice facilty but I can’t get in......they are waaaay too young for Rec.....lol

Yes, you have to complete at least one career game to go to practice. You can access your mycourt any time tho.
