Pretty much depends on when you dashboard.
If you do it while its still trying to matchmake then its cool.
Could easily start counting from the moment the game on signs comes.
Miss the days when we had a dnf rating.
Matchmaking grouped the quitters together and lobbies made them easy to spot and to avoid or then again easy to get a quick win lol.

I have no problem playing with just a few randoms and a few AI.
As a matter of fact, I've noticed when you have 5 random players all deciding to play, it normally turns into a "my ball" fest. And you can bet at some point someone will get frustrated and call all the timeouts at once.
But, if a couple actually quit and only 3 remain let's say, it seems to go a lot better.
I agree with the DNF should be back. I also would like pregame shootaround at rec, like in pro am.Comment

I wouldn't have a problem playing with AI if the other team had the same amount of ai.

On cg you see the stats.
So you can back out before the game is on so that if can fill your spot rather then have an AI take your spot.
Then again on cg the AI is more usefull that most [emoji38]

Yes and no. It was never a big deal for me personally on current gen, but it might be important given the number of AIs that's used to fill slots. I think the stats will be an indicator that you're about to be paired up with a AI teammate.
Not that it matters. You're not giving any type of penalty if you quit.Comment

How do the stats being shown be an indicator of AI slots ?
Dumb this down for me a bit.
As in people see that teammates stats (for example) are all very low PPG and then they will quit to avoid getting smoked ?Comment

Not gonna lie, the one stat I care to see is overall FG%. Call me judgemental, but considering almost every build can score effectively, if you are shooting anywhere below 48% from the field on next gen (I see a lot more 32%-43% than you realize), it gives me an indication of your shot selection. The lower the %, the more I will think you are prone to take stupid shots, and I will back out of the lobby accordingly.Comment

After many years the stats information is still broken !
How much effort does it tske to fix this ?
The right team mate grade the righte amount of points etc before the game and in locker room
I have 421.0 steals per game
But then again someones has 4.0 steals per game

I wouldn’t have an issue with them either even against humans if they actually guarded the 3pt line and could make open shots. Playing 2 or 3 vs 5 is almost impossible because everyone just completely ignores the AI. They’re awful. You’d be lucky if they hit one wide open 3. I just don’t get it.

Idk why they just don't use random nba players at the position that ai plays.
Biggest issue with AI is they have no badges. Can't hit free throws. No defense.
Actual nba players would solve some of the issues in rec

Yes. I wish they showed the FG% and 3PT% moreso than the steal that’s glitched out anyways. I also look at peoples APG. But if I see multiple users around 30-40%, I’ll be more prone to leaving.

Good idea lol. That would be fire because I miss the old 2K11 days when your team AI was NBA players. But I feel with how this years game is, NBA players wouldn’t even make them useful. They’ll still get sized up and then shot over and even in MyCareer, your teammates cannot shoot at all. Just something 2K needs to fix. Almost a automatic loss playing with even one AI and the team knows how to abuse him.
