Man one can hope REC gets an option to only enter with randoms.
Heck id take randoms filled with AI rather then currently playing 4 out of 5 games against full squads with horrible teammates.
Or at least make the AI better lol.
AI be having ridiculous horrible releases on wide open shots.
How does one program the AI to have an very late red release on a wide open shots?
Makes even less sense when they actually green a wide open shot once in a full moon lolComment

Might just be coincidence, but the past week or so, I've noticed that when I play solo, I'm very rarely being matched up against squads, but when I play with a squad, it's almost always against other squads.
Those squad games have been pretty rough as it's almost always a 2-3 zone and 5 out offense squad and those games just aren't fun. Every once in awhile we get a squad that actually tries to resemble basketball though.NFL: Bills

at this point they either fix the matchmaking or allow you to quit without consquences or make the AI HOF.
9 out of 10 games is against full squads and before the half i end up playing alone and i get at least triple teamed by a bunch of try hards.
Good thing BF is out as i might just shelve this game and not buy it untill it worth the purchase.
All this none-sense 3 point shooting with steal spamm makes it way to arcade for my liking in REC.Comment

I created a Shaq build specifically so I can create my own offensive opportunities.
I ran into a guard that was complaining about the fact I wouldn't set him screens so he can get freed from his defender and shoot 3s. I told him that's not how I play.
He proceeds to tell me that current basketball isn't played and all bigs are here for is defense and rebounds.
Saying that's how the 2k league does it and since that's the meta, that's the only way things should be.
We won the game.
I was PotG and led in all categories except scoring.
I have 1 question:
-Why do people create builds that are reliant on others for success?God wants you to succeed

Btw i cannot imagine how a non shooting Shaq build is faring in the rec. These guards on this 2k damn near don’t wanna post me up on 3s even when a PG is guarding me so i can’t imagine having a build that does nothing but dunk in the Rec. It’s like guards are allergic to posting up in 2k22.
Don’t feel bad about not setting many screens either. I rarely set screens. Too many guards feel it’s their golden ticket to shoot bad 3s and on top of that most won’t even hit you when you roll wide open. But let you roll and 3 defenders collapse on you, then that pass will come in hot and you’ll lose it and it’ll be your turnover. Now if you are playing with a certified splasher then swallow your pride and set screens
