I know that I have observed some absurd shooting percentages from 3, but have you all really seen people shoot 3's from crazy ranges in REC? I know that crap happens all the time in Park, but REC?

Making people use 4 badges for QuickDraw and 4 for tireless REQUIRED is why I don’t think they should be removed. After BHB patch, they super nerfed stamina which I wanted them to keep from the OG prelude. (Used to NOT get auto stamina restoration on change of possession)

I felt like they were trying to balance it by making you dedicate badges but also by making it impossible to get back on defense if you spam your stamina away with dribble moves.

They could also increase the amount of illegal screens like 20-30% which would make teams not spam them for 10-15 seconds every clock

They recently patched lobs to make them easier to dunk which I’m not a fan of

Still haven’t patched dribble glitches which I think are stupid easy to patch, just make them lose the ball after the second time in a row. Same with losing stamina, you should just lose the Ball.

      People would play different.

In 19 they really made it tough to control the ball in OG release then patched it immediately.

Maybe next year they’ll commit fully.

I think the real driving force of them searching for balance is their league build, which has to be based on the engine at least.

Several feet behind the line. This isn't a slow spot up sharpshooter, this is a super fast guard with super high handles ratings. Steph Curry 'could do this but not 100% of the game, and not this quick.

If you play on 2k cam without 'who to guard' on you can't even see where some of these sharps spot up from. It started in 17 with HOF badges. these pro am sweaties will spot up from 30 regularly with HOF range extender, quick draw, and deadeye. If you're even a little late contesting the shot it's drain-o.

I'm just talking about regular old REC. To me, the Pro Am players are in league of their own when it comes to using metas and OP tactics. I'm pretty sure that GOAT League in PNO is a hotbed of cheese tactics.

The Pro Am players play REC now. The higher I've ranked up the more Pro Am squads I get matched up with in REC.

You would be surprised how effective those badges are. I have HOF Tireless Defender on my PG, and I have HOF Relentless Finisher on C.

Only use the bronze versions and i rarely if ever are in need of stamina.

I imagine you can just go full sprint the entire game if you have them on hof lol

I'm pretty conservative with my turbo overall. I mainly need it on my PG for games where I'm battling a 1001 screen to play defense. I can't tell you how much I hated seeing the flashing red bar on defense and all I'm doing is holding down LT. If the other team misses the shot, then the lower fatigue actually impacts my ability to get out on the break and finish unless I was cherry picking.

I got the badge on my C, because it's supposed to (in theory) help with me getting contact and standing dunks. I noticed even in the MyCareer games that if I backdown my matchup into the circle before my stamina is drained, I can get a standing contact dunk at will. I think yourself mentioned that fatigue plays a factor in whether or not you go up strong with your big versus getting some wimpy layup attempt that gets sent to the nosebleeds seats. The problem I'm running into is that I think the Intimidator badges might be just a tad too effective with forcing every shot attempt into a layup. There are times where I know I faked the drawers off my matchup, and I still get a smothered or heavily contested shot although my matchup is no where near the play. I get more dunks with my 6'0" PG coming into the lane than with my 7'0" C standing directly underneath the rim.

Yeah stamina plays a big role when it comes to dunking.

I feel that the area of effect from intimidator is to big in the paint.

But tbh with contact finisher it should be cancelled out making the ratings talk.
But then again people would cry since intimidator and pogo are the go to moves in the paint lol.

Sliphery finisher is one hell of a badge.
It gets you past defenders for easy finishes.

Havent checked of it worked on standing dunks though
                            It should on certain animations

I say this to say I promise you I make fun of every team we’ve ever blown out by 80 for going to 3 out 2 in offense to “break our zone”

I am BEGGING you to set some giant center at the foul line (or even a 30 badge sharp)
Our archetypes for this game were a pure slasher on the low block and a pure sharpshooter on the free throw line:

                                <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/EI7IX4HCrss" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

As long as the two inside players can consistently make good reads you will get an open shot on most possessions just by having good spacing and ball movement.

That said, it is much tougher this year to get shots to register as open in the middle of the floor due to how overpowered the intimidator badge is, so it's best to run a 6'9" or shorter sharpshooter at the free throw line spot with steady shooter, deadeye, and quick draw all maxed out on hall of fame.

Post scorers are better off playing the block or the short corner since they have a slower shot release and less shooting badges.

But in a rec game with two inside bigs you might not have that luxury. And that's where it pays to have deep hooks or deep fades maxed out to hit those free throw line shots without having to actually take a jumper. If you have some guard with a low interior defense rating on you then those hook shots will be almost impossible for him to contest without a helper coming over.
