If they had added a few more guard stats, it would have helped immensely. Bring back pull up 2 and 3, maybe an on-ball and passing lane steal stat. Tie strength to blowbys and defending them if it isn’t already. More stat dumps would have forced guards to make more difficult decisions and maybe actually create a bit of variety.
You could throw in maxing out FT, Perimeter D, Steal, Stamina, and Pass as well and still have 20 points left over. So, hopefully there is balance for guards. .
Whereas with my PF, i have to make heavy sacrifices just to get most of those ratings to 80. It feels like with bigs, you need to be a specialist and comfortable with the sacrifices

You and other poster are absolutely right. It may or may not be a problem in Park (because will probably have the same build more or less), but I can see REC going to sh*t. If everyone is a driving or shooting threat AND can play perimeter defense, then would be the point of creating a bigman? The ratings that the wing players have to sacrifice are ratings they didn't really need in the first place.

Are you counting your physicals into this calculation like spd, accel, vert, strength and stamina?

What are you talking about? As far as I can tell, it's no different than the current progression system. You get awarded points, then you decide where you want to put the points at.

Damn. We have to do the specific action of the badge you earn that badge.

If they borrowed NBA Live's system of leveling up "badges", then I will enjoy it...they all came within the natural flow of just playing basketball. I never felt I had to force anything.

I loved the fact that having a monster rebound or block game boosted up those categories a good bit.

Just how it used to be.

Lots of these things seem to be how it was in the past.

Basicially seem like pulling a madden by removing stuff and then addig it later saying its new lol.

Odds are that with people abusing the freedom , pies will be back in a year or 2.

As a guard all you need is 90 driving and 90 3 with some ball control and alot of speed lol

Use whatever is left in mid layup steals and perimiter and you good lmao

                      This would be bad news.
I remember games in mycareer forcing the same play over and over and over just for getting a badge

Because someone has to get boards and stop me post scoring easy buckets all game inside because none of them have interior D?

He's going back to a previous leak that happened in I think August. No one believed the original leak, but now the original leak had contained quite a bit of information that was just released in the blogs. This video is just him revisiting the leak and discussing the items that hasn't been officially announced yet.

                            I agree.

I didn't like grinding for specific badges like before. Like you said, you have to force it. I always did prefer Live's The One mode format over MyCareer. I just want to play naturally. Lets say you want Relay Passer, I don't want to have to get X amount of Pass-To-Assist moments. Hopefully they keep it how it was last 2 years.

I feel as someone who doesn't play online grinding for specific modes took the fun out of the mode. You are a primary online guy, you might only play MyCareer to grind your player anyway. But if you only play offline, you don't want to spend major portion of first 2 seasons, grinding for badges.

Yeah you’re right. I looked up the original leak since that guy barely showed any of it and it nailed everything. I still don’t think it means for sure you can’t change badges. Maybe you’d just have to grind ones you haven’t earned? But yeah, a bit disappointing. I like to play career organically mostly. Not to think overly on how which badges I need.
