    So in Rongeezus picture
he has a big 30 defensive badges and still had all playmaking up and decent amount of shooting can definitely hit mid range and still have a good amount of finishing. now the broken thing here is he try to be so complete and great all around the physicals are horrible so its a bad build 44speed 0 acceleration 67 strength70 vertical 0 stamina lol. So now just take away one of the categories finishing or playmaking and put those points in physicals he be a good player.. So its looking good to make a Garnett or Barkley.

I mean, I can hardly replicate a prime igoudala or a prime batum, let alone lebron or luka.
I was thinking that as well. A Foward is still limited. You'll have to sacrifice athleticism or ratings. Hopefully it's not the case, but Guards might be the go to. A lot of ratings you can skip on and have athleticism make up for.

I think SGs have the highest chance to be OP. Unless you want to be a combo guard or want more badges, You don't need high Ball Control or Pass. You can get away with 75-80 and still get Gold badges and unlock good animations.

look at this move some things around you would still be great on offense as a big and have them 30 defensive badge also! I think big will be op also, you don't need 21 playmaking badges take some of that away.

The only thing about that build is that the Physical Ratings are terrible. To get the higher skill ratings, had to make significant cuts to athleticism. You're a big liability with 44 Speed, 25 Stamina, 25 Acceleration.

I agree with you just giving and idea about what could be possible because being great at everything just won't happen!

There could be things we don’t know like stats having different weights or what they showed might not even be the final version but it’s the only concrete evidence we have at this point.

Your faux Rodman/Kobe builds aren’t really relevant as over half the stats you listed aren’t even customizable in Myplayer. On top of that, 2K has never used the same formula for calculating myplayer overalls as they do for NBA players.

Yeah you’d have to crater your free throws and take some off pass accuracy and a few other stats to get your physicals to a decent level for sure.

It looks to me like a guard could be great at everything that matters (for most guards) but we’ll see how it shakes out.

Yeah. I would sacrifice Rebound and Block because high athleticism should get you the easy ones, I would live without Interior D, I would skip Post Control and Standing Dunk, and could live with 70 Shot Close. That's seven ratings, I could live without. That's a lot of points to be available to dump in the major categories. And still would have points left over

So more offensive ? Sounds like a good build. Having athleticism dose make up alot. I wish you needed hi vertical to get 90+ drive dunk looks like you'll need 50 for sure because in 2k vid when he put the drive dunk to 70 something it made his vertical jump from 0 to 50. Well maybe that's what happen when he took 90+ drive dunk and it jump to 70. Cant wait to get more info.

And you'll still should be able to get high Perimeter D ans Steal as well.
I did the math for a hypothetical SG. I could get Driving Dunk, Driving Layup, Shot 3pt, Shot Mid, Free Throw, Speed with Ball, Perimeter D, Steal, Stamina, Vertical all to 90. Speed and Acceleration to 95. Pass and Ball Handle to 80. Strength to 60. All for 935 points. So, i could whatever is left over to other non-important guard skills. That's a OP build

If what you think is true we better have Defense because sound like everything will be contact dunking and raining 3 balls lol.. I would like to see more variety but sound like this could be the meta

They should make point allocation progressive.

For instance, putting points in a stat beyond 85 costs double.

Where are these leaked pics coming from? Is there a pic with a OP center build? Tired of seeing these Curry builds.

This is what im hoping the should be more hitting 95 overall once a rating category hits 80 as you go up it cost more and more and 95 rating should be heavy. This would balance the game so people just don't take the most popular ratings and live without the rest .. I like to see different builds not a meta
