The game is amazing but my two favorite modes are not working.

I cant play online vs in either PNO or MyTeam Unlimited. PNO isnt counting wins and losses when anyone quits. MTU wont connect to a person, then gives a win or loss after kicking me back to menu.

Finally, the question I have been waiting to get answered...

For anyone who has played 2K21 on both last gen and next gen, if I save my roster will it carry over to the new gen?

I'm assuming not but still need to hear the correct answer 100%.

I was really enjoying this iteration of 2K. I really like what they did with MyNBA. Love the inclusion of having my league with for the WNBA. However, with all of the good that this game is doing of course there has to be something wrong. For whatever reason, I'm no longer earning My points or badge progress in my career. It started when I was playing in college and carried over to the NBA. This glitch was in 2K20 and 2K21 for the PS4 and Xbox One. Now it carried over to Series X. It's very disheartening and I really wish 2K would fix it. I'm wasting time playing my career now. Just getting VC for it. Jokes on me for spending VC on my player to get him up to an 85 (obviously I purchased the VC when my character was earning badge progress and My points). Very disheartening. Very disappointing.

99% of the time this no progression "glitch" happens is when people try to do the badge glitches............

Adding on some more.... unfortunately this is bad news.

Not sure how this is in any other mode besides MyPlayer (specifically rec and proam)

Alley oops are a joke. They are converted WAY TOO MUCH. High difficulty alley oops are being converted 80% of the time. Also the oop off the backboard to a teammate happens way too frequently. 3x a game or more Ill throw an oop from 10 feet behind the 3 pt line and it'll go off the backboard and my teammate will reverse dunk it. Like what the hell is this? NBA JAM?!!!


3v3 & 5v5 ProAm as well as Rec, have major performance issues. It's not lag. There is no skipping or choppiness when playing... Every game feels "heavy". Sluggish. Like its a struggle to move around. My player and my friends players all move around and it just feels slow and sluggish. All animations are slow. Like I said the best way to describe it is "sluggish & stiff".

I don't know if this is just server overload cause the performance and framerate to drop but this SHOULD NOT BE AN ISSUE. If it is server overload then that is EMBARASSING on 2K/Take Two's behalf. One of the most purchased and played videogames and you're going to half *** your server quality to save a few bucks? This isn't acceptable on old gen systems but the fact that it might be a possibility on BRAND NEW, NEW GEN consoles is absolutely ridiculous. They use Amazon servers for game hosting and Amazon has different tiers of performance and the client (2K/take two) decides which they need & want. Who knows what they chose but if they are being bogged down like this then they obviously have the wrong infrastructure in place. This happened periodically on old gen but I had more smooth/normal games than I had sluggish games. But so far on next gen it has been every single rec and proam game.

Going to add onto my list.

Good Comments:

6. Cant believe I forgot this in my first post but the loading times....... couldnt contain my boners from them. My wife got annoyed with me because I kept telling her to watch how fast it loaded. After the 5th time I was just trolling her but still.... amazing that I can click a button and blink and im there.

7. The locker room before a rec lobby is such a beautiful addition. Might seem irrelevant to some of you but I can't tell you the amount of times We only had 4 and we'd sit around for someone to respond to our posts. It's so much easier just going around the locker room and looking for a player/position we need and just messaging them.

Bad comments:

7. For the 4th game in a row (counting 2k21 old and next gen) when showing the 5 players on the screen during "intros" all the stats are 0. For both teams. Then when they show your indiviual matchup.. ZEROS.

8. In the rec lobby waiting to play everyone's teammate grades are "F".

9. When your REC game is loading into the court, both teams "team rating" is wrong.

10. Jumpshot creator is broken. When you put it to the fastest speed it will never save. Always reverts to the 1/2 or 3/4 setting. Sometimes I have noticed that my 3/4 custom jumpshot speed randomly changes to 1/2.

11. The "missions" from NPCs in the city are a cool touch. But the prizes are not rewarding... at all..... Why am I going to spend time doing a "mission" to win a damn Pirate hat?????

This is correct. I’m experiencing this myself with freelances. I love using different teams with different freelances and right now I can’t because of this. My only complaint with the game really.

Having to play with randoms in Rookieville to get to the City is so frustrating. Not only are we forced to play with randoms, but we have to go through three rep levels to leave the little jail ship they start you on? Like wtf is this, seriously?

I played 11 games tonight and I'm a little more than halfway through rookie 2. I'm about to go to bed knowing I still need to play a little more of this garbage tomorrow. I'm sure I'll have fun once I finally make it out of this basketball hell, but this isn't how you should start someone's journey with a new game.

I skipped 2k21 on ps4 but I could get it on ps5.

Question on MyPlayer ratings and badges progression rate on next gen without buying VC:
is it somewhat reasonable as in 2k20 or is the real grind as in 2k19?

My PS5 has been pretty buggy at launch. Was taking forever to install yesterday and waking up this morning still issues. Had to delete and re-install. Fairly annoyed. Had an issue with installing AC Valhalla and had two crashes yesterday. Not impressed. Just venting as I haven’t been able to play this game yet.
