The thing that i really dont like with the 2K Graphic Evolution ist Jersey Movements. I remember when the 2K14 Trailer dropped.. jersey were too big yes BUT it looked beautiful on the Broadcast Cam.. now they Jerseys move less and less each year. I know the jerseys are tighter as back in the days but they still move and 2K did 3 steps back IMO

Right, the question(s) should be: how do the good modders apply for a job at 2K?

I wonder what are the difficulties of updating and "fixing" scans more regularly?

Looks like they just updated Cade Cunningham.

Wish they could do the same with Bron because if a modder could do this (top) the art team should be able to update his current render (bottom).

Are you referring to R4zor? I’m pretty sure he was hired by 2k to do legends not current players. The really good Lebron mod going around YouTubers etc are using for all their thumbnails is DEIBYS2kMODS. They need to hire him ASAP IMO and finally update Lebron

Did they redo Cade or was the initial image we saw of Cade just from a bad angle?

                Legit question.
                Concrete evidence/videos please

He just got scanned in during summer league. They previous face scan was from when they put the rookies in MyTeam.

Maybe fixing the bodies and head proportions aren't a high priority. And the people hired can't just begin working on whatever they please. That just isn't how it works....

With players unable to come in for the scanning process last season because of COVID-19, I'm pretty sure R4zor and other team members manually created a lot of last year's render updates/rookies.

Again, that modder needs to create a portfolio & apply to 2K.

Even if he was/is hired that doesn't guarantee that he'll get to update LeBron's render or that 2K doesn't have one already in the works.

Going off the latest leaked gameplay videos:
                        - KD still has fat stumpy legs and looks almost the same height as everyone else on the court
                        - Lebron still rocking the 3year old outdated scan with incorrect hair and beard
                        - Undershirt sleeve size has finally been shortened by 1cm making sure not to be too close to what players actually wear
                        - shoes still look out of scale and too big in most instances
                        - majority of colours still look washed out
                        - quality wasn’t the best of the leaked videos so will save this judgement for release but lighting seems to have taken a hit somehow in year 2 of the new consoles
                        - Melo still rocking his 8yr old outdated scan (going for a record)

Overall disappointing on the art side of the game but there could be one hell of day one patch we are unaware of

So have any chance that they will make a new scan for Lebron

It’s funny cuz a lot of people on here, Twitter, YouTube, etc have all been clamoring for an updated Lebron render and with this this being the 4th game in a row with the same Lebron scan. I know there are bigger issues to be fixed but let’s hope they finally listen and at least update it via patch, even if they can’t get him in for a brand new scan.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but the Net's court is more "color" accurate now whereas it was too gray on NBA 2K21.

Let's just hope that black jerseys in general are not washed-out/light black because that was a huge, huge issue.

Something small that I've been asking for, for YEARS since they took it out in 2K18... NBA Finals Patch is back on the jerseys of teams that make the NBA Finals.
