Noticeable players that need to be updated:

    Stephen Curry - shorter hair

Carmelo Anthony - needs beard and braids

Lebron James - needs longer beard (or option for longer beard)

Rudy Gobert - needs longer hair

Kyrie - face scan seems off, like he has a swollen top lip.

    Devin booker - shorter hair

Anthony Davis - longer beard option and shorter sleeves on his undershirt

Probably missed a few other things

Outside of KD, who else is in need of a body type update? Kelly Oubre was one that also stood out as needing an update.

2K art team is complete ***....

They choose to give Jrue holiday a whopping 10 different styles (headband/no headband) but can't even give Patty Mills or Pascal Siakim a headband...

        Richaun Holmes said it best:

He has worn a headband for 2 years WITH the dreads as well. Not sure why his dreads are super shiny and there’s no option for a headband.

The floor looks terrible at 2K22. All current courts are exaggerated with too much contrast.

Vintage floors are ok. Just the opposite of last year. It seems like 2K is chasing its tail year after year.

Is Franz Wager the highest Draft pick ever with a random face? That doesn't look even remotely close to him. I was really hyped to play with the Magic, but no way I touch this game when a high prospect looks like that.

I would say Anthony Edwards considering he was the #1 pick last year and still doesn’t have a face scan even in this years game. It’s ridiculous, not saying it’s terrible but it really doesn’t look like him. And almost all of the rookies from last and all the rookies from this year all are wearing the Zoom Freak 1’s, pure laziness. Edwards is with adidas and I can’t even equip him with adidas shoes cause it’s locked. I don’t get it.

Did that on last years game, just annoyed that it is something I need to do.

Has anyone found a workaround for the headbands with tricks like “exporting”?

It’s ridiculous Mills and Siakam can’t have headbands..

So I 2k took out the option to add tattoos on caps, that’s how we identified that player wasn’t real, how do we identify the caps now??

I really do hate that LeBron doesn’t have one of the best scans in the game. I’m not big on him like that as a fan, but man wtf. Major stars should’ve been updated for the release.

By the time we get a decent Westbrook he’ll be a legend in the game. I think we’re going to have to step up the pressure them.

I think 2K has done great with the amount of next gen scans they've gotten so far considering the pandemic. That being said, I don't really understand how they can't schedule some of these guys to come in and get scanned for one day out of an entire year (let alone multiple years). Luckily though (IMO), we won't need players to get re-scanned that often now considering the quality and detail of the next gen scans.

That’s what I’m saying! He hasn’t been touched since 2K19 and this is the face of the league and an all-time great we are talking about . I know with his schedule it must be hard to get him in for a scan, but I know they definitely have the resources to produce a high quality cyber face. For example, look at the great job they did with Kobe’s render, and this was done after he passed away (Rest in Peace). The players they have scanned/updated look amazing, so I just hope we can get an updated Lebron cyberface before he retires at least. Would also be nice to see Westbrook, Melo, and Kawhi updated, just to name a few as well.

Leonard was updated last year or the year before - go look at his old scan from his time on the Spurs/Raptors - and Carmelo just needed his hairstyle updated to his current look.

Both look more than fine minus Carmelo's outdated hairstyle.

Westbrook clearly has no interest in being scanned, so that is wishful thinking at this point. They just need to give him a much better render "by hand."

They proved that they're more than capable of that last year.
