I’m so happy everyone is truly expressing concerns for lack of shoes, that lamarflacco dude is a straight goofy, been blocked him on here, he’s nothing more than a sheep and seems as tho he works for 2k when he don’t, also seems like he plays park and myteam so to him it doesn’t matter about shoes, I’ve said I wouldn’t post on here anymore but the recent surge of others speaking out has got to me to say something

Re: OS NBA 2K22 Shoe Vault - Discussion
It's difficult to explain things on here. A few people including myself have reached out to 2K Support and all receive the same answer. Here's what they sent me last time I asked:
"Here's how it works and when you will think about it, it's rather simple and win-win for all the parties! So, we know that the players and teams are already officially sponsored by these shoe brands. So, we just comply and we get the CAD (computer aided design) from them of the real shoes, the ones they want their players to sport! What they get from us, is their promotion and our gamers options to make their builds/players look slick!"
When someone posts this in this thread, we get crapped on because it's not what you want to hear. Keyword in the previous paragraph is "comply" meaning 2K waits on the shoe company's OK to add a shoe.
It sucks because I wish it worked differently. I've tried reaching out to marketing people from the shoe companies on Twitter and even on LinkedIn to get their side but so far no answers. Before you crap on someone for providing an answer you don't like, even though they asked someone from the game, how about you do some digging yourself besides doing a Google search and see what you come up with.Comment

I have constantly said this over and over again. ?Thank you for responding with this, We , as a culture, just have this need to just blame the most convenient source.
AND ONCE AGAIN, i posted yesterday before you guys new puma shoes were coming that , PUMA makes a concerted effort to get their shoes in. They use this as a marketing strategy and often have their scans sent in BEFORE models even release.
And back to what i always said, you may get the result you want if your spend your time and ire on bugging the contacts at the shoe companies rather than complaining to your constituents on here who can DO NOTHING to actually help you get what you want.Last edited by lemarflacco; 01-14-2022, 12:00 PM.Comment

Re: OS NBA 2K22 Shoe Vault - Discussion
Dude, enough of that. You have no idea what you're talking about. This is not the process I don't care how times you post this useless quote at attempting to have the answer. The Adidas pro model is a baby shoe, so you mean to tell me Adidas sent that in for a NBA game with grown men in it? The Joel Embiid shoe, you can't even edit the logo, so UA sent that in? Those are only two that are misrepresented, I'm a real sneaker head and have a real passion for them and know for a fact over a handful of shoes from each brand are dead wrong in one way or another. Hell, they have all gold Jordan 11s and all red Lebron's I've never seen in real life; shoe companies approved that? gtfoh.. 2K is to blame, they don't care, they have more shoes in the game that people don't wear then what they do, end of story. And please stop posting that useless quote/attempt at an answer cluttering the thread.
And wallah, Puma got in some new scans as well. No one else.Comment

Re: OS NBA 2K22 Shoe Vault - Discussion
Sorry for spamming but im trying to like reason.
People say they add crocs as a money play. I agree.
You say they aren't focused on real shoes because they dont generate money.
They add shoes, to include two puma budget models (80$) that maybe 4 players wear, no one is going to buy in real life, ABSOLUTELY no one is going to buy in the park...
So i need reasoning behind why they would chose to add the high and low top of this bum budget model while choosing not to add the Lebrons or the Kyrie, one of the most popular shoes? Like y'all think someone at 2k is at footlocker like i can buy two shoes to scan in over the next 4 months. Im going to choose these two puma budgets?
And if we are looking to be logical, NB and Puma have added their new shoes this year. But NIKE and Adidas for the most part only have last years models added at the beginning of the year. Its reasonable to assume that nike has not even sent any scan at all this year.Comment

Re: OS NBA 2K22 Shoe Vault - Discussion
Not sure if this was mentioned earlier but the Melo Ball MB.01 is now available to edit in the shoe creator. The shoe was added in the game awhile ago and was available to assign to a player but you weren't able to use it in the shoe creator.

They added what they wanna add, keep talking the sneaker companies have to send stuff, so how come the jordan 1s which is a Nike brand keep getting colorways, and the new jordan 36 was in from the jump, something fishy is definitely going on with 2k as far as the shoes, they’re not putting in effort to actually get all the shoes in, dudes keep posting those generic answers from 2k support, those are more than likely generated answersMy Teams
