Nah people did run him off. He used to pop in and tel us what sneakers were getting updated colorways. And asked us what sneakers we wanted in game. People found out his twitter and basically blew his DM’s up, and he stopped coming in here

This is absolutely correct and also the main source of my confusion with the delays the last few years.. Hawk was putting out multiple COLORWAYS of different shoes spread across all the different brands regularly and to this day a majority of those colorways still remain so unless something drastically changed in the past few years I think assigning colorways is still possible... a logical conclusion is that despite the ability to include things in the game that the shoe companies DO NOT SEND TO 2K (colorways) all the complaining basically shut down the only guy the community could turn to with requests.. that's just the colorways side of this.. where I start to get confused is that most years the superstars signature models are in at launch or very shortly after, I wonder what happened this year? Bron, Giannis, Kyrie, Harden, and Dame don't have their models in which is just strange (an example being that Trae Young is a star and his PE is in the game but does he receive the same marketing push from Adidas that Dame and Harden do?)

The trae young shoe released before the dames and before the hardens. It seems as if they dont have any scans all year from nike or adidas. But ONCE AGAIN, for the ppl who insist 2k scans their own shoes, i need someone to explain to me why 2k CHOSE to only scan puma hardcourts high and low over dames, hardens brons? Lol all shoes that would turn more profit for them in game.

Also jordan and converse are subsidiaries of nike. They operate all as separate companies. For example, gap owns old navy and banana republic. These are all diff stores, brands, with different marketing departments etc. and in this case it would be a diff rep sending in shoes for nike/jordan/converse.

And 2k used to update colorways all the time and add alot of shoes. But i still never saw the contract where they told you when you buy the game you will have all the shoes lol ppl just love to be mad at 2k. And the person is dead wrong who mentioned the scans. They have scanned in SOO many players. There are multiple teams with a full 17 player roster of scans.

FACTS. . . if they can make Crocs and Slides happen they can make ANY shoe happen they partnered with, this has nothing to do with Foot Locker or this shoe thread. . . the game is simply being neglected as a whole, the game is fun but at times it feels buggy and unfinished from startup to features to corrupted saves and user profiles. . . these issues are NOT being addressed in ANY of these patches and here we are sitting on patch 1.09 [emoji848]

You people are delusional lmao did someone just say its 2k’s fault that the shoe companies didnt send in the scans.

For the 100th time, the shoe companies send in the scans to 2k. Shoe companies have dropped the ball. Contact them IF you want change . You can continue to blame 2k here if it makes you feel better but it still doesnt change the process or change the fact youre wasting energy in a place where nothing will change

2K is waiting on Ben Simmons to start playing again with the Sixers to add all the missing shoes!!! Seriously though, I called Nike Corporate twice. They hung up the 1st time I asked them about scanning shoes into a video game. 2nd time I got the run around which the rep wouldn't say whether they scan them in or not. She sounded like Charlie Brown's teacher and wasn't even 1 word about anything video game related. 503-671-6453 is the Oregon office number and 800-344-6453 is their customer service number. Please feel free to call. I wish someone would try and get better results than I did. The way I was treated makes not want to even buy Nikes anymore. But the bottom line is 2K fumbled the ball like a running back with baby oil on his hands. This is their video game. Their product they put out, or lack of putting out. As much money as they make off the consumers, they only listen and cater to the pay for play. I bet before the season is up, you play in CLEAR HEELS and a DRESS. Sorry guys, but I tried. Maybe, more phone calls and emails should be tried to resolve this issue. And I'm calling Adidas tomorrow. Stay tuned...

Im glad to see someone showing initiative but it seems like you saw that Nike doesn't care if their shoes are in the game.

I dont understand the pay to play argument in this situation because 2k added a low and hightop model of a shoe that is not going to generate
ANY revenue. They could have made more money putting in the space jam lerbron or the kyrie shoes so why would they chose to add a puma hardcourt high and low?

Im glad to see someone showing initiative but it seems like you saw that Nike doesn't care if their shoes are in the game.

Now if they institute in the game where you have to "PAY" for the latest signature shoes on all game modes, are ya'll gonna pay? I still wanna know why they had the shoe challenge the last 2 years then not even put major players' signatures in the game. Makes no sense to me. Maybe to others though.

"Pay for Play". 2K is making money off those consistently, nothing else matters to them anymore. All I want to say is that they don't really care about us. Now if they institute in the game where you have to "PAY" for the latest signature shoes on all game modes, are ya'll gonna pay? I still wanna know why they had the shoe challenge the last 2 years then not even put major players' signatures in the game. Makes no sense to me. Maybe to others though.

But you can buy shoes in the park bro, If they add the new lebrons , people can purchase them in the park to wear for 15k v c . So why would 2k add 2 puma models that won't sell if the shoes issue was concerning money? That would be a waste of money and of their time right?

And another thing, I've contacted 2K support, the dead forum on 2K, and people who actually work for 2K that are active on twitter who I've followed for years...all I've asked was a simple question. "Are y'all adding signature shoes to the game"? Either a yes/no. I get no response from anyone. Like I don't mean anything. Like my money doesn't matter. Since there is no competition in basketball games, they took our money and forgot all about the people who made them rich. Hopefully with EA coming back with college football, they come hard with NBA Live and college basketball again.
