I’ve found a pretty good baseline from one of the popular slider sets, it’s just a never ending tweak to find the right balance.

It felt like teams moved the ball more at release. After the updates I’m finding some of the same issues from last gen. The inexplicable ISO’s into nowhere to run out the clock with a crazy contested shot lol.

I’m currently trying to find a balance to let the better stars and role players do what they do best.

LMFAO. Ok. I'm just saying something really simple here: The 2K17 Shoe Thread was peaceful, folks vented because there were issues, but not like little spoiled brats. Hell, even I had my share of complaints.

Ever since 2K18, though? People started moaning and whining like there was no tomorrow, and it's why the community's connect to Brett Hawkins disappeared, and believe me; that dude was such a blessing to people who love kicks and keeping things accurate looking. To ask people to dox and spam Hawktastic was something else.

Do me a favor. Look up the 2K17 Shoe Thread, then compare it to 2K18 and onwards and you'll know what I'm talking about. Huge difference. 2K17 thread was a REAL community. You and your kind turned this into a s***show.

So let me get this straight your saying because people were complaining in a thread is why Brett disappeared? If that's the case there's some real sensitive dudes that work for 2k. I think regardless of who's fault it is as to why we don't have shoes as of almost Feb I think devs for these games stopped communicating to there customers is because they know they can't answer the questions an request people have due to hands being tied sometimes.. but people have the right to complain regardless

Ya ever wonder it's a chance that Brett Hawkins doesn't work for 2K anymore.

I am a sneakerhead, irl, and I was shocked to see promotion for the kawhi 2 shoe. It still has not released but was in 2k on release day. All the nb shoes are in. Im starting to think the large shoe companies dont really care about getting their shoes in whereas the less popular brands (puma , nb) not only have all their shoes in but they get their sig models in months before release.

COOL stories. . . that was then this is now, things changed and so did shoes as well as the direction of 2K as a whole. Judging by what I've read guys still know how to read and understand, if there's a difference of opinion(s) in here so what, guys are allowed to voice/vent if they want and for the most part there aren't any kids in here so STOP low-key trying bash. . .

I personally DON'T see what's wrong with the criticism in here, it's constructive, it is for the most part regarding the LACK of shoe updates and textures everybody is use to getting with NBA 2K, the artwork/player likeness is LACKING as well, not to mention tendencies and gameplay. . .

At the end of the day everybody's expression is different, if it is a complaint it's STILL constructive in here, the WHOLE entire 2K forum is searching for clarity but get nothing, the only things 2K speak on, for the most part it's about events, even on 2K's own platforms they DON'T address any legit concerns and there are many but NOT so much as a "we'll look into it" but 2K heard the concerns about Crocs and tigers [emoji848]

I’ve been popping in and out of os for quite a while. There have been a LOT of legitimate complaints, over the years, regarding all parts of the games. People used to beg for updates to things like patterns, new creator parts/modules, etc.

I can certainly understand people getting upset. I can definitely understand them potentially annoyed with the wrong party because there hasn’t been any real responses from 2k’s side of the house. It can be something as simple as missing patch notes after a recent update changes some gameplay quality… Players won’t hear a thing about why or when a potential fix may be in the works.

Now on top of the lack of editor and creator modernization there is now a lack of shoes. People are going to get antsy and complain. I fully encourage that complaining. It fills the gaps between the nice posts of people’s creations and edits. If you don’t want to see complaints then I don’t know what to tell you. They aren’t going anywhere until something changes whether 2k/sneaker companies see it or not.

I wouldn’t even mind seeing 2k try their hand at their own new shoe models lol. A fan design contest would be fun (not with the current shoe creator of course)

May not have been about sensitivity. As I stated also I believe it can be about they're hands being tied as to what they can an cannot do as far as updating the game an what's the point in coming in threads an responding to the customers when they can't deliver on what they want or we want but the reasons people constantly giving for why Brett don't be in the thread sounds like he was sensitive to me. Like I said people have the right to complain I don't care if it's the ceo that came in the thread

Post the dopest sneaker edits/creations you can dream of, express your frustration at the top of your lungs. As those who hate the complaint would say: You got what you got. That extends to this sub too.

Even the arguing keeps this sub on the 1st page.

                            Here’s to a promising 2022/2023!
