I’m sure many of us are hoping that potential PG 6 promo will get us a nice sneaker dump in the near future……….. Of course our current hopium is like a 70% watered down cocktail 2 minutes before the bar closes at a military town nightclub.

Most of which are PE's 2K surely won't add anytime soon, we'd be lucky if we get the basic shoes commonly worn to edit hell. . . Giannas still wears 2K's ugly version Freak 2's, where are the Freak 3's that have been released since July when several other players have been wearing his shoe just as long as he himself has. . . Evan Mobley is a beast for ROY, has been wearing Dame 7 Extply again like several other players but still NO where in game. . .

I had to import my guy Cole Anthony just to get him away from Nike and into Adidas where his shoe is commonly worn be NOT in game either. . . lemme go Zipline with my backpack and Crocs on after I feed my tiger who ate my skateboard. . . I myself at times feel hungry af after riding my bike and roller skating ALL over the city too lol[emoji1787][emoji1419]

Gotta ask the shoes companies. Adidas and Nike have not sent a scan in all year. I wonder if this will be the new norm? The shoe companies obviously not caring about getting their shoes in the game. And what does ziplining have to do with shoes? Is this how it goes? You want shoes and they don't have them so 2k can't add anything else to the game lol

Sometimes I wonder if there’s a small chance of a contract renewal/dispute behind the scenes.

Sneakers are BIG business as well as a form of expression but for ALL shoes brands in game to be CHOPPIN'-it up at the same time, I doubt it. . . word on the streets is 2K haven't been talking about much but LOW-key sneaking patches out with NO patch notes [emoji848]

This did make me think of when Nike did file for virtual trademarks back in November.

"The Beaverton, Oregon-based sportswear giant filed seven requests with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in late October to protect its marks in categories including “downloadable virtual goods” and related services for retail stores and entertainment.

Digital items listed in the filings include headwear, eyewear, bags, backpacks and sports equipment under both the Nike and Jordan brands, with their logos the Swoosh and the Jumpman and the “Just Do It” tagline. The applications are on an intent-to-use basis, and won’t be finalized until they’re in commercial use.

Virtual goods including apparel are gaining more interest as consumers scoop up items like digital art and video-game skins—decorations like outfits and accessories for virtual characters—for popular titles including Fortnite and NBA 2K."

Maybe with the growth of NFTs and other digital items, Nike is looking to make money off their products being in games.

WOWWWWW. Great find. Wonder if they're looking to make money off of those in game purchases where ppl are buying nike gear/shoes. Can anyone who plays park confirm that they haven't added nike gear through the season?

That would make a lot of sense and certainly complicate things if they decided to ask for a significant amount of money on the front or back end. I wouldn’t put it past the Nike or Adidas umbrellas. Adidas owns Reebok (I found a single article from 2017 about adidas buying puma but I don’t think that’s truthful lol). Nike owns Jordan and converse.

Lol they gon hit us with the NFT sneaker collections. If the prices weren’t crazy, the models were top notch, and we were guaranteed regular drops Id consider it. But knowing 2k we’d get hit over the head with 20,000k per model or some **** lol
