I didn't play last year but the defense isn't good in 2k22 imo. Easy to get to the rim with certain players. Trey Young, anytime I wanted. I don't even use dribble moves like that cause I know none. It's just random movements with the stick for me.

Anyways, the AI defense at times is good. But I find it not very good at all the more I play. This is HOF.

Are you on iPhone or Android? The back camera doesn't even seem to be an option on the iPhone app as far as I can tell. I used the back camera last year but it seems like they removed it from the app.

I'm on Android, I started trying to use the back camera but it always came out terrible then I started trying to use the front camera and so far not good but not terrible. Hopefully I'll be able to get one by the time I start playing. Last couple years I was finally able to get a good one after weeks of trying, really wish I could use last year's and not have to keep going through this.

I doubt it is an issue for all Androids, but it is a common theme that IPhones/Apple has less of an issue with face scans than Androids. At least, I have my old IPod Touch that gave me a good scan last year.

I hope they do actually update the app this year. Last year, they didn't. With them separating the MYNBA2k app to just the Face Scan and having a seperate Supercard app, there was less incentive to update the app compared to past years

I already got my music label. I’m stuck at the fashion label quest. After closing with the investor, nothing has happened yet. What am I missing?

I bought my fashion line place if that's what you're asking about. Seems like it just randomly popped up eventually the same way the music one did.

Tried to increase my fashion by doing runway walks. Finally the quest to buy a building appeared. Seems like I got that quest when I went to level 8 in fashion.

2K hit MyCareer out the park this year. I tried to create a KG clone at 6'11" to abuse the "positionless" big men. I ended up with a midrange maestro but it's fun. Running around the city is kind of cool and I'm moving at my own pace. I took the Gleague route. We made it to the finals before losing to Golden State's affiliate. I went with the agency all about basketball. I dont care for the fashion and music stuff but I like the option.

I discoved something with the Gleague. The OP Gleaguers in MyNBA are from MyCareer. I thought it was odd how the Knicks affiliate center, Brooks, was banging inside like Shaq and hitting 3s like Steph. I chopped it up to MyCareer. Then, in the finals, the Warrios SF Porter was like prime LeBron dunking everything in sight. I went into MyNBA and sure enough it's the same people and they played to those ratings. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the draft process and the combine. I enjoyed that in 2K21.

I have watched several videos so far and I like what I have seen. I also don't care for the fashion and music stuff. But, I saw it gives out a good VC payout if you complete them. So since I don't want to buy VC, might as well complete the Quests.

I see the best pre-NBA route is to do College AND G-League. You get the 4+ Badge Points and 5% MyPoints boost if you win the championships in both.

I hope by time I buy this around Black Friday that some of the bugs are resolved

I won as OU against the Bruins, I think? Honestly, every game was tight except the championship. We actually won that by double digits. Had a game-winning 3 along the way so yeah...wasn't exactly easy, but this is my first 2K since 2K17 so I'm suuuuuper rusty.

I think he was implying about how you no longer get +4 to your attributes once you hit 99 OVR. But at least it doesn't fluctuate anymore

I got two builds I'm working with, both playmaking pgs. One went to UCLA, the other went to Florida. Won the championship with both, so it's possible no matter what school you go to.

But I also had to dump a ton of vc into both of them to even get them playable
