You guys jinxed it with all that in-game injury talk. Randle just dislocated his elbow in game 2 after fighting for position in the post against Millsap. After that it was a quick sweep for the Nets vs my Knicks.

The championship went to the Sixers and Finals MVP Ben Simmons, after they beat the Jazz in 6 games.

I already finished the off-season, which is always stressful in 30 team control saves.
Sadly I wasn't able to make some moves because I had a bug where I couldn't change the controlled team and now some restricted FA basically walked for nothing.

But other then that I'm really happy how it worked out:

- Kyrie left the Nets after another playoff Burnout by them. They basically had to decide between Harden and Irving, which ended up pro Harden. Irving joined the Spurs, who are kick-starting their rebuild with him and Valancunias.

- Beal joined the Celtics

- Lavine will be the new starting 2 guard of the Knicks. Mitchell Robinson asked for a max, which he didn't get in NY but in Charlotte. New in the Garden as a replacement is a package of Boucher and Thomas Bryant. Also KCP will take the backup SF role. I'm really happy with the new roster construction.

- Sexton joins Zion and the Pelicans

- The Lakers retained Russ and added Fournier as the biggest name

- The Kings spend big on TJ Warren and Slow Mo Anderson, but let Bagley walk to the Wizards

Oh man i am so happy..1.21min before the end of the 1st quarter, i am going for a drive with Beverley and went for a layupand got smacked on the ball and fingers and Beverley went down grabing his hand in pain and got injured!


Finally!!!!

I chose to go with 2 teams this year, one in a rebuild and one contending. Rockets & Lakers.

Doing a 29 games season, play about half of the games for each team.

Rockets finished 5-24. Was a tough year. I traded away Eric Gordon for a 2026 first round picks and some bad contract to Dallas. Was my only move.

Lakers finished 2nd in the West.

Playoffs are Best of 3, Best of 3, Best of 5, Best of 7.

We beat the TWolves in 2, the Jazz in 3, the Clippers in 3, and we lost to the Bucks in 7. Game 7 was thrilling, sucks but hey, that's life.

Offseason went on, Rockets got the #5 pick and were able to draft Paolo Banchero. Didn't sign anyone else.

Lakers re-signed Westbrook to a 1 yr 32M contract. And were able to sign Mitchell Robinson to a 3 yrs 37M contract. We then surrounded the big 3 with Josh Richardson, Kris Dunn, Willy Cauley-Stein, and other players.

I am now post trade-deadline.

Rockets are again 4-20
Lakers are 12-11, tougher this year to find the chemistry. We started 4-10 though so it's not that bad.

At the trade deadline Lakers made no move and Rockets traded Christian Wood for a Spurs pick & Evan Fournier, who was traded to the Magic. Jahsean Tate was also traded.

Can't wait to go in the playoffs with the Lakers, and do the offseason with the Rockets (I'm using DC1 from JB's fictional draft class, it will be great)

I have not started yet still working on getting good gameplay sliders and hoping a patch fixes the bugs I have heard the mode has, and also think I will wait for opening night rosters. Nice to see people are seeing injures.

How easy is it to do like 30 team control? I know rotations in the game are not the best has you will have to many times where CPU subs out like 4-5 guys at once or not taking guys out in blow outs etc. But is it simple to do 30 team control so you can fix rotations? How can you have CPU make trades and trade with CPU your self and such with 30 team control? What about FA, draft etc?

It's the same as last year with Harden. As soon as I decided to keep him in Houston in my save after the deadline he got traded. I basically wait for a Simmons trade to ruin it for me everyday.

That's a mistake btw, his contact doesn't jump to 22 million irl, 2K should fix it.

His QO is around 10 million. Just delete the last year of his contract (the 22 million year) since it's supposed to end this year anyway

How do I delete the last year of the contract?

I knew that it was an in-game mistake and that his contract doesn't jump that high (it did that in last year's game too). I didn't know I could delete it tho. Can it be done in a MyNBA that's already started?

Magic Shooting Wakes Up; Orlando Routs Charlotte

The Magic returned home to host Lamelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets. The Magic set the tone early, jumping out to a quick 7-2 lead. Lamelo stalled Orlando's offense, pick-pocketing Markelle Fultz on the 2 following possessions, but the Hornets were unable to capaitalize. From there, Orlando went on the best shooting performance of the young season, seemingly exorcising the demons of their earlier 14% 3 pt. shooting performances. Buddy Hield led the shooting, connecting on 7-10 from 3 for 21 points on the night. In all, the Magic shot 11-28 from 3pt. Markelle Fultz led the team in scoring, putting up 24 with 11 assists. Meanwhile, Mo Bamba had his best game of the early season, putting up a double double with 10 points and 16 rebounds. Wendell Carter, Jr. added 12 points and 19 rebounds. Orlando would walk off with a 111-87 victory over the Hornets.

About 8 games into my Raptors franchise and we've had a hot start going 7-1 in the first 8 games, the last one being Siakam's first of the season. Dragic is out for the next month or so with an eye injury and have been running with a lineup of
