Doing a Sonics expansion rebuild and for some reason, Fultz was unprotected. He's immediately averaging 24ppg and 7apg. MIP here we come.

Re: How's your MyNBA Going - 2K22 Edition
Simple question before I know if I can buy the game. In My League franchise mode has the stat tracking glitch been fixed or is this same issue that ruined last years game back again?
Thanks everyone!Comment

Re: How's your MyNBA Going - 2K22 Edition
NYJaguar's Pacers
November update.
20 games in, we are 9-11, sitting 11th in our conference. Brogdon and Sabonis lead the team in scoring. Sabonis has an outstanding 10.7 rebounds per game (second in the league). Brogdon has 6.2 assists per game. I'm confident that we'll get better. Both Levert and Warren missed games at the beginning of the season. Warren and TJ McConnell were out for a couple of weeks. That prompted us to sign Lucas Vildoza, an Argentinian PG, that provided adequate cover. I still want to move Lamb, who is on an expiring contract. I really like both rookies, Duarte and Jackson.
League overview.
Lakers and Bucks are leading their respective conference. Surprises so far are the Nets (9-10 and 9th in the standings) and the Nuggets (6-12, 14th in the western conference).
Curry, Beal, and Doncic are the scoring leaders, and Jalen Green is the best rookie so far. There haven't been any significant transactions so far. There was a Clippers/Thunder trade involving Kennard and Favors.Comment

Re: How's your MyNBA Going - 2K22 Edition
Started a franchise with the young Hawks! I play every game 11min quarters, however with a twist.
I always play the full 1st and 3rd quarters. I always simulate the 2nd quarter. And simulate the first 5min of the 4th quarter and play the final 6min and all of any overtime.
I am using advanced rotations setting each team as I play them. Turned off injuries so they will stick and just to have some different type of fun in a sports franchise.
Currently we are 3-2. After losing opening night at home vs the Mavericks we won three straight vs Cavs, @ Pistons, and @ Pelicans. We just lost @ Washington on a buzzer beater by Thomas Bryant. Very upsetting loss but super fun game.
Up next for us is:
@ 76ers (3-2)
vs Wizards (3-3)
@Nets (4-2)
vs Jazz (3-1)

Re: How's your MyNBA Going - 2K22 Edition
In regards to the in-game injuries. I've seen Vucevic go down in-game. Was out about 2 weeks.
So after just butchering my Bulls team I restarted MyNBA with the Bulls again.
Using Schnaidt's game and mynba sliders.
I resisted trading DeRozan and glad I did. I tried getting rid of some of the fringe players that won't get much gametime and the Lakers offered me Anthony for two of them. I then picked up Cousins as a Free agent and are just dominating the league now.
Now I have a great starting 5 and depth. The pick and roll game between Ball, Caruso, Cousins, Anthony and Vucevic is just plain filthy.
Starting 5 is:
PG - Ball
SG - Lavine
SF - Derozan
PF - Anthony
C - Vucevic
White is my 6th man and Cousins gets a fair share of minutes alongside Williams.
We are blowing out teams left right and center and currently have the 2nd best record in the East behind the Nets.Only thing in sports that matters is Chicago Bears, Bulls, Cubs, and Blackhawks .

That being said going into a rebuild is fine unless you have a superstar in their prime that you can't waste. Keeping the key players who brought you to a mediocre season isn't necessarily a good thing.Last edited by aimlessgun; 10-20-2021, 03:33 PM.Comment

Re: How's your MyNBA Going - 2K22 Edition
Still chugging along in 2k21. 2056-2057 season with the Blazers and Knicks.
After decades of mostly Blazers/Knicks domination the league is as wide open as it's been in a while. Blazers had the Lillard dynasty, followed by the Knicks Robinson dynasty, followed by the Blazers Lindemann dynasty, followed by the Knicks Yi dynasty.
However the 3rd Blazers dynasty attempt fizzled. On paper the team looked good but something was just off, struggling to make the playoffs year after year, and after two first round 1-4 exits (to an admittedly great Clippers team), I tried a weird half-rebuild. Traded one 90 OVR allstar + an A+ POT 2nd year guy + pick 19, for the 1st overall pick to land a guy that seems like a lock for superstardom: Bobby Stephens, coming in at 83 OVR and 17 badges which is nuts with my draft class quality settings. Things fell apart even further that year, with a decent on-paper team (two 90 OVR FMVPs plus this super rookie) going 30-52.
But this year Stephens is up to 88 OVR, we've locked in a playoff berth, and I'm hoping guys step it up in the playoffs. We'll see if Stephens has the playoff moxie that really made previous dynasties work. In videogame terms what this means is, for playoff elimination games + finals, I actually watch the full 48 min games AI vs AI instead of the black box sim, and there are guys who elevate their games in that environment, while others wilt. Lillard was a prime example of a guy who just went beast mode in playoff elimination games.
Over in New York, the third dynasty got off to a seemingly great start in 2053, after only 1 year of tanking it reloaded in FA and everything went right on a surprising championship run. However since then it's been outclassed by other teams while getting worse on paper as I have to let go highly rated young talent as their rookie deals run out (self imposed no luxury tax rule). Then this year our best player had their Achilles explode and we're barely limping into the playoffs. Do I go into rebuild mode again after only 4 years? Maybe they'll surprise me in the playoffs.Last edited by aimlessgun; 10-20-2021, 04:31 PM.Comment

I wish I could go that deep in my franchises.
You are doing a 2 team dynasty I guess ?
For the first time I tried having 2 teams this year, Lakers & Rockets, it has been a lot of fun so far, already in my 3rd season.Comment

Re: How's your MyNBA Going - 2K22 Edition
Hey all! Just wondering if anybody has any injury sliders that produce more in game injuries? I’ve played several games and I haven’t seen any.Comment

Re: How's your MyNBA Going - 2K22 Edition
You can raise injury sliders, only problem is that makes all simmed games have more injuries too which means the league will be an injury fest. Which I guess it is in real life anyway.Comment

Re: How's your MyNBA Going - 2K22 Edition
I have not started MYNBA yet still working on sliders but when I did a sim and looked and stats and such seems like on default there was not enough injures had a lot of guys who end up playing all 82 games. Its hard to play all 82 not just because of load management but its just hard to not have like a small injure that cost you like 1-2 games.Comment

Yeah I like doing 2 teams, if one team is dominating the league you're busy trying to build up the other one to beat the monster you created.Comment

Re: How's your MyNBA Going - 2K22 Edition
Got the game last weekend finally and started a Knicks MyNBA. So far, I've been playing a game, simulating a few and am sitting at 11-7. I play on Allstar, default settings with 8 min quarters.
I'm planning on probably playing out this season as is, may make a small addition around the deadline (maybe ship out Knox) but overall I love their team.
Gameplay wise, I have had trouble consistently scoring so far, I find this game a lot more challenging than the past few years. Any tips?Comment
