So, for my trial franchise, I went with the Warriors. The first season was sim only, with only one trade (Otto Porter for a 2nd round pick). We ended up beating the Nets in the final, Steph getting Finals MVP.

For the second season, I'll be actually playing some games. I traded Wiggins and some 2022 draft picks (30th pick + two 2nd rounders) for Isaac and Robin Lopez. FA is still pending.

That is crazy they let the glitch get that bad, seems like the staff is the only real thing they did. Maybe all the staff boost impacts the players ratings that bad, Gleague must have coaches too. I was going to wait until the game is like $30-40 somewhere. My NBA just seems to have broken issues from the start, if they don't have Start Today working in this one I don't see how they upgraded anything in MyNBA.

In the individual training section, do I want load management to be high or low for player development? I can’t tell if high means that they’re very carefully managing how much the player plays/trains or if it means they have a high workload

high load mgmt is like Kawhi or KD level of load mgmt. Low would mean there isn't a lot of managing someone's load. Low is for young players and high is for vets.

Both losses came against the Pistons….I’d rather just forget about those games. My defense has been good for the most part. Nothing else has really stood out that’s worth discussing.

Guys have you had this issue?

If you start the MYNBA in the offseason, when you advance to the next season the date automatically skips ahead, and when you simulate ahead to future dates, the games listed don't play at all. So if you skip one month, there are games scheduled that you've passed by, but there's no score.

If you start the MYNBA in the current season, there's no issue.

Decided that Im going to Run with the New York Knicks.

To start the season we put Zion on our target list. We will be keeping an eye out on Zion as we progress through this franchise. Untouchables, as of now Julius Randle, and Derrick Rose.

Kevin Knox will open season on the trade block.

Opening Night will be against the Boston Celtics followed by a back to back meetings with the Orlando Magic.

Re: How's your MyNBA Going - 2K22 Edition

Haven't started yet, I'm still adjusting my difficulty settings to find out what will work for me.

When I do start, I will be using my Orlando Magic. The team seems a bit more difficult to use than in years past. Even though they weren't necessarily great, we had good pieces to play around with and have some fun and success with. This year has been a bit more challenging.

My strength comes from my back court. Fultz, Suggs, and Anthony are who I will be building around. Trying to figure out how to utilize 3 PG's or if someone will have to be the odd man out. That will come with playing around with the roster.

My other key piece with be Jonathan Isaac. He's been my most important piece in past years, so I'll see if that keeps up. I'm using to running him at SF alongside Aaron Gordon, but with Gordon out, and Chuma Okeke in, Isaac will likely be my 4, which will be an adjustment.

I need to get used to the shooting in this game so that I might actually be able to utilize Terrence Ross off the bench. Right now I'm having a really hard time with shooting in the game.

I'm looking forward to getting started, but I really gotta get my difficulty settings figured out first

Decided to do to franchise at once this year.

One that will be a rebuilding project, as I love to do this and develop young players that I draft. I chose the Houston Rockets, as they have picks from the Nets, already have one great prospect in Jalen Green but can be rebuilt from the ground up. As of now, I'm 1-4 right now, traded for Tacko Fall and a 2nd. The big question mark is what will I do at the trade deadline, John Wall will be traded but he doesn't have any value, Eric Gordon will probably be traded too.

The other is a well established team, I chose my Lakers. We are 4-2 right now. I'm still struggling to play with AD, can't seem to hit my shots with him. LBJ & Brodie are great though. Not much change for now and I will probably ride with the actual roster for the whole year.

Objective is to have 2 great teams in the next 5-10 years that will face off in the playoffs. It's going to be fun !

Re: How's your MyNBA Going - 2K22 Edition

Starting my Orlando Magic MyNBA. I'm on Hall Of Fame difficulty. It will be tough, but it will give me something to build towards. I actually have a lot of work to do on the roster. In years past, while the Magic weren't the best team, I had a fun video game team with Bamba, Fultz, Gordon, and Isaac. Fournier and Ross were fun to shoot the 3 ball with, and Vuc added nice versatility from the 5 spot. Now, I'm overloaded on guards (Fultz, Suggs, Anthony) and unsure how to utilize them, and not yet sure how I feel about guys like Okeke or Wendall Carter, Jr. I also liked Isaac better at the 3 spot than the 4, so playing him at the 4 now is an adjustment for me considering I use a lot of pick and roll with my guards, and Isaac isn't nearly as good at the pick and roll as Gordon was. So there's a lot of things that I'll be on the watch for this year. Basically the entire roster is under evaluation.

But I'm looking to build around Markelle Fultz, Jalen Suggs, Cole Anthony, and Jonathan Isaac (and maybe Mo Bamba as well, but his salary shoots to $22 million in year 2, so I'm not sure if keeping him is feasible, I might need to find / groom a replacement).

Here's what my roster is looking like to start the year. I have some pieces that I'm open to moving, and Gary Harris' $20 million coming off the books at the end of the year will be very helpful for trying to build moving forward. I'll probably try to stack picks, and clear as much cap space as I can to combine hopefully some 1st round picks with some free agents in the off-season.

                          Starters:
                          PG - #20 Markelle Fultz
                          SG - #4 Jalen Suggs
                          SF - #3 Chuma Okeke
                          PF - #1 Jonathan Isaac
                          C - #5 Mo Bamba

                          Bench:
                          PG - #50 Cole Anthony
                          PG - #13 RJ Hampton
                          SG - #31 Terrence Ross

                          G - #55 E’Tuan Moore
                          F - #17 Ignas Brazdeikis

                          Key Pieces:
PG - Markelle Fultz, PG - Jalen Suggs, PG - Cole Anthony, PF - Jonathan Isaac, C - Mo Bamba

Oct. 20 - "Magic fall in final minutes to Spurs as NBA season begins"
                            Magic - 82, Spurs - 85

The NBA season is underway, and the Orlando Magic kicked off their 2021-2022 campaign with a trip to San Antonio. After a slow start, the Magic were able to fight their way back, and finally took the lead in the 3rd quarter. They stretched their lead to as many as 10 before San Antonio took it back with about 4 minutes left in the 4th and didn't give it up. Orlando had the final possession of the game down 3 but were unable to score, opening up their season with a loss.

Jalen Suggs started his NBA career getting the start alongside Markelle Fultz. Jalen Suggs would drain his first NBA attempt, a 3 pointer in the first quarter. It would be one of only 3 3 pointers that Orlando would hit on the night, as the Magic shot a depressing 14% from beyond the arc. Jalen Suggs would finish his NBA debut with 14 points.

The Magic gave significant minutes to a 3-guard lineup, including Markelle Fultz running point, with Cole Anthony and Jalen Suggs flanking alongside him.

Markelle Fultz led the Magic with 19 points and 6 assists, while Wendall Carter Jr. contributed 17 off the bench.

The Magic return to Orlando for their home opener against the Knicks.
