Nope. Lol. Moochie gave me that work. I like that 2K also has their career stats and stuff. I counted about 17 or 18 real coaches as well from the Kobe Era. Larry Brown, Rick Adelman, Paul Silas, Jerry Sloane, Don Nelson, Lenny Wilkens, Rudy Tomjanovich, theres a lot there.

I won't lie, I was extremely hyped for this mode.

However seeing how it seemingly has locked every team behind an era, and you can't put teams in diffrent eras... it's really killed a lot of my initial hype. If you're able to do it with classic teams, why are all these other teams and coaches locked behind an era? Each eras roster you have to customize independently.

I would say that the reason is that its the first year of the feature and cant rule out your request being something thats possible in the future

I will never understand introducing a mode that is not ready. I appreciate their work, but some glaring omissions and limitations kill the hype for me. I will definitely not look to jump into buying the game at this juncture. It’s one thing not to have Barkley, but in a year where the Suns go back to those jerseys, they cannot put in the court?! They have to negotiate for the use of each jersey and court or what?

Really don’t get it…**** whoever is stopping us from enjoying all courts and uniforms. My guess is 2k didn’t have the time to implement everything, which is kind of annoying. My guess is this mode will be really bug free and useful in 2-3 years. By then the hype is gone

I am more interested in the modern NBA than the eras. But I will have fun with it. The eras seem like a 2K wishlist thing and it allows them to utilize the assets they made for the Jordan Challenges. A big hook for me as a franchise gamer is the fact that the draft classes and (licensed) players will look great AND have commentary associated with them. Playing with and against real players add so much to the experience. I'm big on immersion and I saw just how cool it was last year when I added guys like Baron Davis and Shawn Marion to draft classes. It adds a new vibe.

On to the modern game I have feeling 2K added a few bells and whistles. I just hope they fixed the mode crashing bugs like Gleague players and players on overseas contracts in free agency. I have noticed in all the footage that the halftime show is cut outside of stats. I know last year they added trade talk to the MyNBA halftime show. Players still do become coaches in MyNBA. It's in 2K22. I'm good with the eras this year though with the Jordan Challenges but I just want the same effort put into making our modern and future seasons as immersive and exciting. I have been banging a few years now for 2K handmade draft classes that have real looking players with voices and backstories. It would add so much to future years.

If it is true.... That's madden type of stuff, just keep it in and add to game, don't subtract from something that was really cool for franchise.

I was assuming they'd put those teams as historic teams, and just add them to the lineup of classic teams we already have. But alas it's not meant go be

As a lover of classic rosters, I'm really digging the MyNBA Eras mode, although the possibilities are a little overwhelming. I'm thinking of starting in the 83 era and making my way through every season (some more than others) until the current season. I don't plan to change much about the history (the rosters will basically be the same), except I will include some what-ifs from the past (Sabonis plays for the Blazers in 86, Len Bias and Reggie Lewis don't die, Magic doesn't retire from HIV, no great careers cut short by injury, etc.).

While I'm excited to take this route, I'm a little hesitant due to the work involved as I will have to manually make changes to every roster (via draft/trades/etc.) before each new season. Perhaps I'll scrap this idea and let the CPU deal with the draft/trades and embrace the randomness. I'm curious at how others are tackling the MyNBA Eras mode?

The PROBLEM is you only get this halftime show in modern MyNBA era. Not the classic eras.

G League is working well in my long-term stress testing of MyNBA.

Are you stress testing with custom rosters? I simmed into mid year 2 with a custom roster and no bugs. Looking good.

The halftime show is the same as last year with Ernie, Shaq and Kenny. I was talking about the prerelease footage that 2K allowed the influencers to capture. It only showed stats and never the whole show. I was wondering if 2K had them omit the full show for a reason. But it's there, though. Same as last year. The set really looks like something on TNT with the huge screen.

You know it would be dope to just have Ernie to recap the highlights from around the league when we play in the Jordan Era like he did in real life in the early 90s when it was called nba action on TNT.

Also Rod Strickland is missing on the 91-92 spurs roster in the jordan era but he is present in the kobe era on the 2003 timberwolves that need to be rectify in regards to rosters.

No i totally see where you are coming from. And its makes sense to me that you should be able to take the ‘88 Lakers and the ‘94 Knicks and put them in them in the Kobe Era for example. Maybe one day they will let us select a representative from whatever year for each team to fill out the league. This will require them logging a database for each roster so it would be a lot of work but maybe itll be possible.
