Do you find this to be the case in game too?

Not trying to disagree with you here, Just making sure we are on the same page in case this is something a dev looks into.

Like I said before, I don’t see it anywhere as often as last year. Seems more randomized than based on quality, but I do see consecutive shots hit.

Yup I spotted the pattern too after playing so many games on Real Player % with 2K23. I know that I can’t use the same player for a mid range J if I made a jumper with the same player on the previous possession.

This is definitely a next gen issue only.
I just took Booker into practice and actually went 7 in a row from the same spot..PS4

I play nothing but real %. I can’t speak for modern play but I feel like I’ve hit consecutive jump shots with Scott, Worthy, Cooper with 83 Lakers. Not 100% sure but I think I have. On the flip side I’ve gone long stretches without making a basket. Most recent game I was up 20+ on the Jazz and in the second half because I couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn the Jazz cut my lead to two with a few minutes to go in the game. I feel like I have hot and cold streaks. I’ve had 30 point quarters and 15 point quarters. I really don’t venture into the paint unless the play called(I use auto play calling) calls for it.

I had another as the 90s Knicks vs Mavs. I was down double digits the whole game. Then got hot in the fourth and eeked out the win.

Don’t think this was the case in previous NBA 2Ks using Real Player % which is utterly frustrating since I did not encounter this problem nor notice this pattern in past years.

Lol this is not true at all.

I think I know why I’m and some others are experiencing this “bug” on Real Player % now. Shot Coverage Impact needs to be at 50 if playing on Real Player %, I’m hitting consecutive shots now in practice!

On a side note, there was an update today and controller settings seems to be saving now!

Isn’t it at 50 standard? I wonder if going higher or lower than 50 is more necessary for real % and also if there’s any side effects to doing so.

I had it at 0 before and couldn’t hit consecutive shots with Real Player %. I guess it was my fault for getting too cute with the sliders to an extreme.

Shot coverage impact slider makes a huge difference. Try it at 100 and you will make every shot. Try it at 30 which I had it at earlier and its make one miss one repeat. About 70 it was making a few in a row missing a few in a row. But then this will effect your other shooting sliders too.

See I thought that slider worked reverse. 2K really needs to work on their explanation for sliders. They should have it so that they give you a description of what happens when you increase and decrease each slider.

                            Pretty significant variable…

Gotta add these things to the equation when we’re calling a feature broke!

That’s how I thought it worked too.

I was always using user timing but it’s starting to get annoying. U have it fill up to the top and the shot still misses. It’s sooo annoying. I might give real fg a try. One of the wrestlers i followed he use real fg also. Is it a majority that to see the signature animations it works better with real fg?
