same. even making sliders adj. it still feels wrong. good and open should be rewarded but still brick after brick. Had a game where i won by 50 against 2002 pistons. they shot 19% that game and it was on hof as base slider.

With the right matchups, this game has been playing great for me lately. I played the final three games of the 1989 Finals in Eras, controlling the Pistons against the Lakers. Each of those final three games provided a legitimate challenge that felt sensible.

Magic Johnson is amazing and the plays he makes seem correct. I can understand what went wrong on my team's behalf that led to his success, as opposed to the game using some arbitrarily overpowered mechanic that makes Magic unfairly better (no super speed recoveries or anything).

The challenge was so legit that I actually ended up losing Games 5 and 7 pretty fairly. It might be one of the first times I've been upset about losing a championship in 2K where I could be like, "Well, this sucks... but I get how it happened."

On the flip side, there seems to be a super huge swing between competition depending on the matchup. Pistons-Lakers was just about perfect for me (I could win but it was tough). When I controlled the Lakers in a first round game against Clyde Drexler and the Blazers, however, I came out and won by almost 50.

So, I guess you could say that it doesn't feel totally perfect at the moment, but I've gotten some pretty great games of late.

Edit: I swear it still feels like there's some massive swings in momentum when playing non-elites. I had a really competitive game going between the 1990 Kings and 1990 Spurs last night where Sacramento led by seven at halftime. Then they came out and shot 25 percent in the second half and lost to me by 36, which would be fine if I'd locked into some sort of godly zone. But I didn't, so it just sort of felt like the switch was arbitrarily turned off on the Kings' side.
