Re: NBA 2K23 Patch 5 Addresses Shooting, Court Floor Visual Issues and More - Patch N
Shooting itself is fine for me - both me and the CPU are regularly shooting 45%+ and I get punished for poor D. However, the CPU free throw shooting appears worse than ever (Cade Cunningham shot 0-8 from the line against me and he's basically an 85% shooter).
I can't get my head around player tendencies though. Before the patch I played Portland and Lillard attempted 20 threes, most of them ugly moving step backs. I'm currently into the second quarter against Portland again and he hasn't attempted a shot, while Nurkic keeps getting the ball in the corner and trying to dribble drive into floaters. I played the Nets too and Simmons spent most possessions trying to score one on one, while Bridges only took four shots.
The whole 2k23 experience has just been weird, like they can't stop tinkering.Comment

They have finally made Isaiah Joe one of the best shooters in the game. Now they just need to update his hairstyle (he still has his Philly afro, when he's been rocking a braid top knot since he joined OKC).
Kenrich Williams and SGA still have incorrect hairstyles too. I'm sure there's plenty of examples of this outside OKC too.Comment

Crossing fingers it’s actually been pretty good for me The last few times I played. biggest issue I’ve run into lately is human free-throw percentage is way too high CPU has been fine. Three point percentage is probably a little low but it’s never going to be perfect better than it has been for me lately. Also, the fact that I turn the ball over Waymore than the CPU and they get more offenses rebounds balances out my incredible free-throw, shooting. again not perfect, but at least enjoyable to play more so than it was.

Not seeing any player art updates in the description. Truly pathetic on 2k's partEA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Ever since last update, I can’t get defensive settings to work in online MyLeague. Regardless of Gameplan settings in menu, in game settings would reset to default. On top of that, when you change settings in game, they don’t seem to work a lot of the time. Matchups and pressure settings are not doing anything.Comment

Lol they really didn’t add the MyTeam guys to offline rosters? I’m about done with this game. Unless they are running behind this is a joke. I hope I make myself look like an idiotComment
