    Game 1
    Heat 110 Knicks 103
I couldn't get going with the Knicks at all. Fell behind by 15 early, and every time I pulled close they'd go on a run. Tough game. Randle struggled shooting, and the defense I expected to get from these guys didn't show up enough.

      Bucks 123 76ers 114
Had no answer on defense for Bucks shooters. Injured Embiid couldn't hang enough to pull it out.

Makes me not even want to play anymore ngl lol.
So I just ended up creating a new Lebron era save. Little disappointed because I put a lot of time and effort into my last save, but it just got too unbearable dealing with this lol. Still pretty cool though, might have to team Kobe and CP3 together...

          Mavs 118 Wolves 111
71 combined points from Luka and Kyrie was enough to overcome the size difference as I got the win in game 1.
          Thunder 123 Pelicans 118
Fun, close game the whole way. 37 from SGA and 21,11 from Chet to get a tough win.

            NEW YEAR, SAME RANKINGS
            JANUARY 1995

Some teams have changed looks, but the face of the NBA hasn’t changed. The Chicago Bulls are 25-7 and the Phoenix Suns are 28-4, looking to set up a 1993 NBA Finals rematch. “Michael Jordan and the rest of the team want to make it clear: They are here to play in June again, last year was a fluke” stated Dan Patrick at ESPN’s Sportscenter. Scottie Pippen and MJ are averaging more than 20 per and are fighting to lead the All Star East as captain.

Players Like Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf and Shaquille O’Neal are top of the league when it comes to leading not only their team, but the league. “These youn players are being the face of the NBA.

Players like Ramon Ramos are sprouting up as well that we want to make sure we do not forget him” said Jack Ramsey of ESPN. The Bulls are becoming an unstoppable force because of the support Jordan gets, from Scottie to even B.J Armstrong. They might have three to even four plyers playing in the All Star game

JAY I've meant to ask this before, but do you play with a roster where every player is rated in the high 90s? I've noticed even your draft prospects are rated as 90+

Yeah everyone is rated high 90 coming in... and they fall off. So I have it that the team that usualy is "supposed" to win the NBA Title all is 99 "best team in the world" and later on they go to other teams and dominate or they fall off..

Its one of my scenarios I started to have and for me, I really am enjoying it.

I had Cleveland. Got up by as much as 15 early, and coasted from there. Early in the third they pulled within two, I went back up 10 immediately and that was it. Garland went off for 40,Trae played no defense.

Christian Laettner suffered a career ending broken leg at 30 years old in my Timberwolves save. The 5 time All Star and 5 time All NBA Piston was on his way to a possible Hall Of Fame career.

The Pistons can't have anything good happen to them in 2k either.

                      HOUSTON ROCKETS ARE LIFTING OFF
                      FEBRUARY 1995

The Houston Rockets are looking at a deep playoff run this year.

“We are pushing ourselves and each other to be the best versions of ourselves in the basketball court. We have the tools and the team to be one of the top threats in the league come” said Kenny Smith. The Rockets have always been a staple in the playoffs, but are usually on a beach come May. “I told the wife, don’t expect to be on vacation on time this year. We will have a longer season this year” stated Clyde Drexler after playing the Bulls.

All Star season is coming up soon, and Scottie Pippen is excited. “I may actually be the leading vote getter this year, MJ will have to be on MY team” he started to laugh about the process. “if I do get selected as captain, I may bring MJ on board or I amy not. Still thinking about it honestly”

                        Celtics 114 Pacers 104
Tough loss. Celtics jumped up on me by 20 early on, I battled back to take the lead early in the 4th, but with no Turner, or Mathurin the Pacers just didn't have enough. This would be a fun series if they were fully healthy. Going to be hard for Indy to win a game.

                          Denver 130 Kings 100
Never a close game. Nuggets jumped out early and bench played almost entire 4th quarter. Triple double for Jokic and Fox was the only guy that showed up for the Kings.
                          Suns 130 Clippers 122
Fun, close game all the way through. Kawhi struggled, with only PG13 and Harden showing up. Durant and Booker combined for 56 in the win.
                          Game 2 Heat 125 Knicks 121 Heat lead 2-0
Knicks lost Brunson early, probably done for the series. Randle was basically the whole team, but wasn't enough. Playoff Jimmy showed up, dropping 36.
                          Game 2 Bucks 119 76ers 106 Bucks lead 2-0
Hobbled Embiid was great, 34 points, 16 boards, but nobody else scored over 15.
Bucks got 31 from Dame, 29 from Giannis, 23 from Middleton, for a balanced attack.

                            Game 2 Wolves 127 Mavs 115
70 combined from Luka and Kyrie wasn't enough as the T Wolves steal home court.
A triple double from KAT and 36 from Ant was too much for Dallas.
                            Game 2 Pels 114 Thunder 103
SGA had 33, but nobody else over 15 as Pels now steal home court.
28 from Zion, and 25 from CJ did the job.

                              Game 2 Hawks 125 Cavs 119 tied 1-1
Cavs lost Mitchell in the 4th quarter, probably for the rest of the series.
Trae young was unstoppable, putting up 48 to help Atlanta even up this series.

                                NBA ALL STAR WEEKEND 1995
                                FEBRUARY 1995

The NBA has become a very fan friendly game for people, even when their choices are a bit strange.

The new uniforms for the NBA All Stars this year is very .. out there. “Suns purple and orange? Hey that’s different” said Michael Jordan before the Sunday game. I like that we are doing something that most sports companies arent willing but the colors are different” he finished with. Ramon Ramos said “Orange, pink or no colors, I am still going to go out there and compete like it’s the NBA Finals.” Michael Jordan made sure he was in attendance and lead Scottie Pippens team with 22 points and dishing out 13 assists. Scottie added 15 points in a 101-106 loss to Horacio Picanseno’s team

During the Saturday festivities, Tony Campbell won the three point contest. “Great keeping myself in shape, it’s a break but I wanted to be keen on staying in shape for another Finals run”. In a shock, Fernando Chavez of the Sacramento Kings won the Dunk Contest. “Fernando Chavez was a shock because he was jumping out the gym, no one expected it” said Michael Jordan. “He did very well a lot of people were shocked that someone from Europe can hang in the air like he did”
