    1. I disagree with you there. If you go back to the older 2k’s when the settings worked “leave them” meant that the defender would disregard who was guarding and stand in the paint, or on the strong side of the play.

    2. “Leave them” would never guard their man out to the three point line which is what they do now. So i do not believe that it works properly.

I have never seen anything close to this in this game. especially the second play is great. hayes is stepping into the paint, waits there for the help AND helps without you doing anything. I really have NEVER EVER seen anything like this in 2k25 and not in the past few years.

if you want i can record a video how leave him looks like when I am playing.

    1. What you see in that video is pnr help defense. That isn’t what the “leave them” option controls. You can get that help defense sequence no matter if the “leave them” setting is on or not.

    2. If it really worked he could run an iso, and walk around his man then the big would help everytime. That is how it used to be. Now the help defense is random and based off of the defender’s floor position. So the “leave them” option does not work. Imo

      on another note:

has anybody found out how the offball settings are supposed to work together?

you have "offball screen" and then you have the new options for different kind of screens like "handoff", "backscreen" and stuff. and then you also have the switch setting where you can set switch all, switch bigs, switch guards. how do these settings all combine together? what happens if i set offball screen to switch and then backscreen to go under? do they switch all screens but backscreens? do they ignore one of the settings? right now i set basically everything to switch and switch all, yet i barely see any switches on plays from the opponent.
