I would go with Dimer over Posterizer. I think the cumulative impact over a game will be more with Dimer than Posterizer. Like...the latter will have positive impact on ~3-5 possessions, whereas the former will have positive impact in 20-30 possessions.

Re: Badging Thread
I went to a whole reshape of my perimeter
I want to badge up Lillard
I sniped him with gold corner specialist for 4k
he already has pnr maestro
and I have two spare
possibilities are dimer, relentless, tireless scorer, acrobat, pick dodger
What do you think?Comment

Re: Badging Thread
Maybe Limitless or Deep Deadeye, though it depends on the situations in which you usually shoot threes with him. Pick Dodger or Defensive Stopper would be nice, though he's never going to be a good defender. Acrobat I wouldn't worry too much about...how often do you change shots at the rim? I feel like I'd rather have Posterizer, though probably not that, either.Comment

Re: Badging Thread
If you drive and kick or PnR heavily, then Dimer would probably be a must. I would probably let go of Relentless and Tireless given that he's not head-and-shoulders above who you'd have on the bench, so him not playing as heavy as possible minutes is not such a big deal. Bigger deal is optimizing the time he is on the court.

Actually Lillard will be my second option in offense after lebron as he can drive, while Horry and Quentin are catch and shoot
So what are the differences of relentless and tireless? I mostly want to improve his driving
Or maybe one mast fast break? After all he is a fast playmakerLast edited by kabamaru; 09-30-2016, 09:07 PM.Comment

Relentless, as I read it, has to do with losing less Energy from contact finishes at the rim. A lot of people think it improves completion rate, but the badged description doesn't state or imply this.
Tireless, as I read it, has to do with still being able to shoot well when fatigued. I'm guessing that the downgrades to Ratings that come at lower Energy levels impact the player's scoring ratings less than default.
If Energy/fatigue is not an issue, then they do not increase completion rate, as I read the descriptions.
One Man Fast Break may not be bad. I think, however, that it might not activate unless the player pulls the Defensive Rebound. So limited utility. But if it activates if the player receives a pass from the rebounder, then a useful one as it seems to give a noticeable speed boost running the court.
If you're going to drive and kick with LBJ and you minimize long shots and shots that aren't wide open, then maybe Catch & Shoot.
BUT...the defensive ones will help cover up his deficiencies. I'd probably go with Defensive Stopper or Pick Dodger.Comment

Pick dodger it is
Actually it is cheap too
Lillard is always some kind of overpowered in 2k
He is fast enough just below the slash PG category(Wall/Westbrooks) but can actually shoot well enough, and play the pick and roll. He was my favorite card in 2k15. I hope he does well nowLast edited by kabamaru; 09-30-2016, 09:23 PM.Comment

Re: Badging Thread
And economy is something to keep in mind because it's just an Emerald and is unlikely to be a long-term card. So one of the things I've thought of, in the early part of the season, is to just Badge up with more economical ones...treat the players and badges as disposable.Comment

Re: Badging Thread
Acrobat affect all layups. I never change my shots midair and I see the acrobat icon pop up on all my layups attempts.
Acrobat:
"can attempt layups with few consequences."Comment

Re: Badging Thread
Just finished regular Domination, finally, and for reward, decided to go with:
Player: Shawn Marion
Comes With:
- Corner Specialist
- Lob City Finisher
- Posterizer
- Tear Dropper
Open Slots: 6 (I think)
He won't make as much impact on my current lineups as some of the other choices would have, but I think Marion has a better chance of still being useful in the middle of the game season, maybe longer. At least as a bench utility player.
For now, he's a nice addition to the possible choices for Small Ball 4, or as a better 3-D SF than Current Kawhi.
In terms of Badging, first priority is probably toward Defense, and with intent to help him defend in the post as well as perimeter. And, hopefully, a couple relevant Badges to help him on the "3" side of "3 and D."
Possibilities:
1. Defensive Stopper: This is a no-brainer.
2. Pick Dodger: A no-brainer in utility, but hate using up a slot with how limited they are this year.
3. Pick Pocket: Ditto, but with that 94 Steal, maybe super-compelling.
4. Rim Protector: To help him when playing the 4 against post-up guys.
5. Corner Specialist: Point of this is obvious.
6. Deep Range Deadeye: Don't know if this is important or frivolous, given Marion's low release point.
More Possibilities:
A. One Man Fast Break: He's got very good Rebounding and he's pretty fast. Can imagine him pulling boards and just streaking down the court for a dunk or layup uncontested, or by a defender who doesn't really have time to set himself.
B. Post Spin Technician: He has 84 Post Control and 75 Strength, which are both high at the SF position, particularly the Post Control. He has an 80 Post Hook too. I can imagine exploiting the mismatch when facing a weaker SF without good post defense. He also has the speed and lat quickness to hang with a lot of the SG's out right now, which would be an even starker mismatch.
C. Hustle Rebounder: Playing at 3 and even 4, and with his high rebounding Ratings, maybe a really good thing to amp up his propensity for grabbing long rebounds that need to be chased down?
D. Chase Down Artist: Can't imagine taking up a slot for this, but he's fast enough, with 80 Block. And if playing at SF, will be out at perimeter in position to chase down a fast break from turnover.
E. Brick Wall: I wonder if this actually helps for off-ball screens. And can imagine using him for on-ball screens, due to strength advantage he may have vs. SF's and speed advantage he'd have vs. PF's.
F. Pick & Roller/Popper: Following Brick Wall...obvious utility but don't think he's ever my first choice in screeners.Comment

Re: Badging Thread
Post Spin is great on Marion. I play him at the 3 and he gets the advantageous animation on spins and drives against just about everyone. My other badges were: Hustle Rebounder, D Stopper, Pick Pocket, and Bruiser. Bruiser is a must to me which you left off, he's gonna be your primary lockdown defender against the opponent's best player and fatigue is a big factor this year. Still got 1 left, leaning towards Acrobat or Relentless.
Also, you were discussing Tireless Scorer earlier, it's actually a badge that activates in my experience no matter what a player's fatigue is, when you make a hard move or have been dribbling for awhile and then attempt a shot or layup. So for me it's a strong badge for your primary shot creators. "A player who can spend a good deal of energy without losing effectiveness when attempting to score."Comment

Re: Badging Thread
Since I'm gonna use this John wall and cousins duo combo since it's cheap to help me in the gold league figure why not. What's a good badge setup for John wall? I was thinking mid range deadeye, posterizer, dimer but idk what else I should addComment

Re: Badging Thread
I am thinking of badging up my Tmac. Last year I used his gold rockets version basically the entire year. Have a feeling this emerald historic version will be in my lineup for awhile.
He comes with posterizer and 3 slots.. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should add to him?Comment
