Dude scores can be anything, I will admit that. I was just laughing that mostly everyone picked the Ravens to win. I can guarantee you that the Pats will the AFC Championship. And they will be underdogs in the Super Bowl. And if they face Green Bay they will win it. But I ain't so sure they can beat Seattle.

It was either that or listen to the broadcast of my celtics getting their *** kicked. So I figured I would go with the laughs over the 2K broadcast.

I choose to run with the Wiz for my franchise so I knew I would most likely be even the Dre Redd sweepstakes. I played some and simmed most of 1st reason and after a rash of injuries (Nene, Gortat, Humphries all out at the same time). We ended up with in the lottery and got the 5th pick in the draft. For my squad I was targeting 2 players and with the Suns ahead of me. I knew they would get one and I will get to pick the other.

            Spoiler

We will see what happens after this season. It should be a better year. I may have some money next to put up for KD. I am looking for a small forward for round out my starting 5. Batum and Jeff Green may due but I just saw Batum re-upping with the Blazers.

You will love Santana for a little instant offense off the bench here and there. That boy can drive and score like crazy. Can't dunk to save his life or shoot from outside the lane, but get him to the hole and he will score or get fouled at an insane rate. I play him for between 5-10mins a game and he always scores 5-10pts. lol

I just thought about it, I don't think I ever saw Lupe live. I think he was supposed to be at one show I went to but it was cancelled. I will have to check him out. Does he do a lot of his older stuff?

Duke’s D’londo Richardson tells the world to “shutup” about Temple and Cincinnati

Just about everyone has been keeping their eyes on the Bearcats and the Owls with their spectacular recruiting classes and super hot starts. Not everyone is impressed by them though. Duke star guard D’londo Richardson said in an interview that he’s getting a little sick of it.

“It’s like, come on. There are plenty of great players and great teams in the nation and people are stuck on those two squads like they the 90s Bulls or something. It’s like people forget that we have a chance of going undefeated this season. Y’all need to shutup on them teams man”.

Richardson is right about his Duke Blue Devils having a good chance to go undefeated with one of the best teams we have seen in years, but Temple and Cincy are pretty damn good as well.

                          December 7, 2017
Another freshman duo has been showing out

Of course we all know about the freshman tag team duo in Temple (the Blackshear brothers) or what many consider the best backcourt in the nation (freshmen Christopher Sapp and Adrian Beniot) but there is another freshmen duo trying to make a name for themselves. SG J.R. Stafford and PF Derrick Long were both highly recruited players but simply seemed to be overlooked in the midst of all of the Sapp, Blackshear hype.

The two had a great November and then last night against SMU the two combined for 52 points (the team only had 69). I love the confidence of these two and to be honest, I think they both will be gone at the end of the season. If so, both of them will be lottery picks.

                          December 11, 2017
Ashley Walker doesn’t know what his future plans are after this year

In a brief interview with SimWorld.com, UCLA PG Ashley Walker stated that he had “no idea” whether or not he wanted to leave after this year. “I love my teammates and I love my school but I also have to talk with my family and see what is best for us” Walker said during the interview.

Walker, now a sophomore, is one of the best defenders in the country and is currently leading the nation in steals. With the point guard position looking to be pretty weak in next year’s draft, Walker would probably benefit from leaving this year. We will see what he does.

Syracuse Center Cam Jackson is turning into a star right before our eyes

Cam Jackson battled some injury issues and possibly some adjustment issues as a freshman at Syracuse. He had a decent year but he wasn’t the dominant force that we thought he would be. This year, Jackson has been healthy and has had excellent showings in all of the team’s early games. At the rate that things are going, Jackson may be my number one big men in college (Number two to Spain big men Eddie Porter).

                          December 21, 2017
                          More Temple and Cincy news

We hate to continuously flood you with news about Temple and Cincinnati but when you are dealing with two of the best prospects that we have seen in years and considering the fact that both probably only be here for one year, you take advantage of it.

Both Cincy and Temple are undefeated going into their brief break. After months of little to no struggle with the competition, Christopher Sapp and Aaiden Blackshear are looking like the prospects that we thought they would be and Temple and Cincy are number 2 and 3 in the rankings respectively (Duke still holds down the number one spot).

At the rate that things are going, we are going to have a big time showdown with the two teams meet early in February. I know that I am looking forward to it.

                          December 25, 2017
We have terribly sad news to deliver to you this Christmas day

Yesterday, Cincinnati freshman center Dominique Mabry (last year’s 19th ranked high school senior) was involved in an accident where he and two other friends were hit by a drunk driver. Mabry is currently in a coma, while one of the individuals in the vehicle died and the other only suffered several broken bones.

Mabry, who recently became the team’s starting center was averaging 8.7 points and 4.9 rebounds. Teammates Adrian Benoit and Christopher Sapp poured out their emotions on Twitter following the incident:

Christopher Sapp – “I’m crying so hard right now. Please pull through Nique. We love you man.”.

Adrian Beniot – “This deeper than sports. That’s our bro man. I don’t even know what to say. #PrayforNique”

Unfortunately, it appears that the basketball career of this young man may be over but right now, we just hope that his life isn’t.

                          December International Newsfeed

The international newsfeed will be done a bit differently this draft class. You will be presented with profiles and info from selected prospects. Hope you enjoy.

                          Karim Santos*—Brazil
Santos won the NBB (Novo Basquete Brazil) assist title and is a fantastic passer with excellent court vision. While his shot is nothing special chances are he’ll have found an open man before the shot clock has ticked down. The Flamengo star is projected to go in the middle of the 1st round, but some scouts say that he is ready to step into any teams’ 6th man role and be a distributor immediately.

                          Jan Kozena—Czech Republic
Kozena is the next in a line of CEZ Nymburk stars. Kozena is a sweet shooting, sizable two-guard who can create his own shot off the dribble and sink it more times than not. He projects more as a role player, at least for his first two seasons, but pairing Kozena with a capable and pass-first point-guard would almost definitely produce results down the line.

                          Nikos Drivas—Greece
Drivas is a consistent but unspectacular player for AEK, taking over smoothly from Nick Donis and providing a similar type of stability. Drivas can haul in rebounds well, but there’s nothing spectacular about his game. He should provide, at best, minute-eating and solid defense, but scouts agree that Drivas isn’t quite ready to go to the NBA.

                          Andreas Rouvas—Greece
Rouvas is the brother of former-AEK center Savvas Rouvas, and the big differences between the two are that younger Andreas is an inch taller and a slightly better defender. Savvas was a little more polished and Andreas may have more potential. That’s the hope for those that draft him.

                          Ozge Bekoz—Turkey
Bekoz declared for the draft despite clearly not being NBA-ready. He’s a hulking power forward who can box out with the best of them, but banging down low is nothing special in the NBA. Bekoz projects as your typical run-of-the-mill role player—if he manages to make the grade at all, that is.
