Re: NBA 2K15 Fictional Draft Classes by CWSapp757/Dreece/Blindside for XBOX One

I have to be honest with yall and I mean this. After I lost DC5 (yes, I lost 100 completed players and had to start all over) I lost a lot of my motivation. Dreece can tell you how deflated I was but hearing you guys talk about kind of put that pep back in my step. My plan as of now is to just step away from getting ahead on the classes and finish up the newsfeed and other info for DC3. It's coming guys and I promise you itll be worth the wait.

As far as DC2 goes, I'm interested to see if anyone got a chance to play with or against Raymon Dawson, Dajon Romero or Kevin Dexter?

I'm thinking about getting him with my Spurs, but I might not pick high enough. I could move KJ to the 2 and have a nice defense on the perimeter.

Wanted to play with Dre Redd at some point so I started a Spurs MyLeague with the idea of pairing Duncan with Redd in the twilight of his career. I made that happen with this three team trade:

            MIN receives:

            SF Corey Brewer
            PG Patty Mills
NO '15 First Round Pick (#6 overall)
SA '15 First Round Pick (#19 overall)

            HOU receives:

            SF Kawhi Leonard

            SA receives:

            SG Kevin Martin
MIN '15 First Round Pick (#1 overall)
            HOU '16 Second Round Pick
            HOU '18 Second Round Pick

            My lineup for 2015:

            PG Tony Parker
            SG Danny Green
            SF KJ McDaniels
            PF Tim Duncan
            C Dre Redd
            6 Boris Diaw
            7 Kevin Martin
            8 Kyle Anderson
            9 Tiago Splitter
            10 Nate Robinson
            11 Matt Bonner
            12 Maximo Santana

            Really fun team so far.

Murray State senior Graham Tully says he doesn’t know if basketball is truly his calling

You may not have heard of Graham Tully but it doesn’t mean that he hasn’t made his mark in the four years at Murray State. Of course Tully is a basketball player but he has become much more than that. During his sophomore year, Tully decided to take a job as a mentor to younger children in an effort to gain experience in the field before obtaining his social work degree. In the process, Tully may have found his true calling. “I spend 90 percent of my waking life working with kids in the community or playing basketball” Tully said. Tully has gained recognition from many community members and received awards for his commitment to the community. And did we mention that he’s not a bad basketball player either? Currently second in the nation in assists and the leading candidate for Ohio Valley player of the year, Tully may not get drafted, but he will definitely be remembered.

One of the best games of the year from one of the best players in the country

Well, Christopher Sapp has appeared to be second to Blackshear in everything lately. He was number two behind him coming out of high school, number two in the Player of the year race and he is number two on the Big Board. Last night, Sapp decided to finally take the bull by the horns and throw a wrench in those assumptions.

Sapp scored 41 points along with 6 rebounds, and 4 steals on the way to an 88 – 85 victory over Aaiden Blackshear and the Temple Owls. Aaiden Blackshear had a great game as well as he logged 28 points, 13 rebounds and 3 blocks but it just wasn’t enough. “We just didn’t have enough to stop Chris (Sapp) man” Aaiden Blackshear said.” I congratulated him on the game. You gotta man up and admit when someone gets the best of you. We’ll see them again in the conference tournament though”.

With a total of 5 projected first rounders 4 projected second round players in this game, no one would be surprised to see them meet again in the conference tournament or the big dance.

Top big man has announced that he will not be entering the NBA draft next year

Syracuse big man Cam Jackson, who is the second rated center on the big board has announced that he will be returning to Syracuse for his junior year. When asked Jackson had this to say: “I just think I need at least another year before I really feel that I am ready. Not to mention with Sapp and Blackshear more than likely coming out, I may have the opportunity to be a number one pick in the next two years”.

Personally, I feel that this could be a great move for Cam as I see him and Eastern Michigan’s DeAndre Gervin as the top two prospects for next year as of now.

Big time freshmen duo make a statement

Texas freshmen SG J.R. Stafford and PF Derrick Long continue their marvelous freshman campaigns. The team is currently ranked number 6 in the nation and the two of them are playing like All Americans. After a victory the #8 ranked team in the nation (Kansas Jayhawks) J.R. Stafford stated that he and Derrick Long “made a promise” to one another that unless they win a championship this year, they will be back for their sophomore seasons. While they are not the favorites to win, it is definitely possible. We will just have to wait and see what the tournament brings us!

              Ummm, potential beef?

So it appears that Christopher Sapp and Aaiden Blackshear (at least on the surface) have been playing nice and have both refrained from taking any type of shots at each other this year. But that doesn’t mean that their teammates are playing nice.

During an interview, Cincinnati point guard Adrian Benoit was asked who the third best player in the Temple/Cincy rivalry is (after Aaiden Blackshear and Christopher Sapp). Benoit’s response got a few people upset. “I don’t really like to admit that anyone is better than me but I will admit that Aaiden and my bro Sapp are once in a life time players” Benoit stated. “I am clearly the third best player amongst the two teams. Anyone that claims that Aaiden’s brother (Avon) is that guy is crazy. Dude is just riding his brother’s coat tail”.

When asked about the comments Avon simply laughed and responded “That’s childish”. This should make things even more interesting if the two meet up again. For what it is worth, both should go pretty high if they leave next year.

Who should win player of the year?

So as many expected, the player of the year honors have realistically been narrowed down to the two guys that we have been talking about all year. So let’s take a look at the Sapp and Blackshear and try to determine who deserves to win Player of the Year.

              Player: Christopher Sapp
              Class: Freshman
              School: Cincinnati
              Team National Ranking: #2
              Team Record: 29 - 0
              Games Played: 29
              Stat Line: 25.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.9 blocks, 3.1 steals
Head to Head Result: Cincy won by three points

              Player: Aaiden Blackshear
              Class: Freshman
              School: Temple
              Team National Ranking: #3
              Team Record: 28 - 1
              Games Played: 27
              Stat Line: 23.9 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 2.9 blocks, 1.8 steals
Head to Head Result: Temple lost by three points

So ladies and gentlemen…. Who do you think should take home player of the year honors?

With things that close, you have to go with the Player who leads his team to the Best finish.

I already know I am going to HATE playing against Christopher Sapp. Just because of his cockiness. I passed up Darrell Smart because I remember that interview where he came across as a prick. The Mavs drafted him one pick later than my Grizz. My first game against the Mavs, Rondo and Barea are both out. Devin Harris started and Smart came off the bench. He torched me, couldn't stop him driving to the basket and when I tried to stop him, he'd dish it out to a wide open Dirk or Parsons and they'd drain it. Oh well, had to preserve my team chemistry so I don't regret not drafting him.
