And that's exactly why I'm holding onto my change and my sanity. I dumped NBA Live after that debacle called NBA Live 06 for the 360 because it wasn't worth my time anymore. Sorry to say..if it wasn't for this project I would've gave them the finger and stopped with this madness. But Sim World has ALREADY put in so much work this season we just have to move on and keep doing what we do!

I'm liking Randall Cook a lot. Brings a nice spark off the bench for me. Also have Lesean Berry. Hasn't played but a minute here and there so far really but he's going to be my project. Would love to mold him into a role player, 3 and D type.Comment

That's the same plan I was looking at for berry too lol. I was drawn to his size should hopefully help him on the defensive endComment

Took a week off to grind for the event on the mobile game. Totally worth it, as I picked up this beauty:
Anyway, back to my BKN dynasty tonight. Anxiously awaiting more news on DC3 so I can finish up this epic rookie season for Chris Valentine. He's gonna have a big come up in 2016.

Also, some pictures of my other rookie in the dunk contest. I came in second:

I definitely can sympathize with the regression issue. I'm in year three and all role player types fall of the cliff. Wesley Matthews, Darrell Arthur, and Mozgov all fell off the cliff. Kinda spoils the fun.

Re: NBA 2K15 Fictional Draft Classes by CWSapp757/Dreece/Blindside for XBOX One
I know the Draft team likes updates on our franchises and their guys so here's one for a Mavs franchise I'm doing.
Now I know some of the moves I did probably aren't completely realistic, but it is a game and I have to do what keeps me interested and wanting to keep playing. But I did try to keep myself from going overboard, like trading for Valentine and Redd after their rookie year. lol
Enjoy...
Spoiler
'14-'15 regular season- Didn't make playoffs, played with stock team after Rondo trade. Had some injuries and in simming they just didn't do very good. Which I can't see how they wouldn't have at least made the playoffs with this year's team. But oh well.
'15 offseason(DC1) - Draft took Zach Shene in 1st round, Gabriel Finney in early second(was surprised he fell that far) and Domingo Santana mid 2nd round.
In FA I re-signed the whole crew: Monta, Rondo to multiple year deals, and Tyson to a one year deal.
'15-'16 regular season - I ended up trading for some more depth at C by getting Rahim Hill for a package that I can't remember. I really liked him as a backup Center. He had the height and body to block some shots and rebound a little off the bench. Right before the deadline, after Monta and Devin Harris had gotten hurt, I traded Shene for some front court depth by getting Dinwiddie and Singler. And another deal to get Kyle Anderson and Matt Bonner from the Spurs for some future picks and Powell.
I played a few games during the year and it was up and down. Seemed it all mattered on how the first few minutes played out. If I started the first quarter off good, then the rest of the game went good, if it was bad I could never recover. I ended up squeaking into the playoffs as the #8 seed and had to face the Warriors.
'16 postseason - didn't go so well against the Warriors. Lost 4-1. It was the final straw that broke the camel's back when it came to Rondo. Yes he can play defense and pass, but the guy can't shoot outside the paint, or hit Fts. And it cost me a couple of times. So even one year after signing the extension it was decided he needed to go.
'16 offseason (DC2) - Draft I ended up with #20 and #28 1st rders. Like I mentioned above moving Rondo was #1 priority. Unfortunately, I couldn't get into the top of the first round without trading a combination of Parsons and Monta. And I didn't want to do that. I did however fleece the Jazz out of Exum for Rondo, Finney and two future 1st rders. Then I moved Dinwiddie and my #28 for Clint Capela from the Rockets for some front court depth. With my #20 pick I took Jesse Marino from LSU. He prob wasn't going to get much playing time to start off, but has the potential down the road.
FA - With the Rondo move I had cleared some cap space, and since I made the playoffs could sign a decent FA. I went after Sullinger as a RFA from the Celtics for a future replace for Dirk. Was able to get him for 3yrs/10mil. I then resigned Tyson again for 1yr/4mil and Singler 1yr/2mil. I picked up Barry Fasano and Anton Bonnet for 2yrs as the teams that drafted them let them go. I had declined to pick up the option on Domingo Santana.
This left me with a starting five of Exum, Monta, Parsons, Dirk, Tyson. And a bench of Sullinger, K. Anderson, Rahim Hill, Capela, Marino, Singler, Fasano, Bonnet and Jarret Jack.
'16-'17 regular season- Now I'm just waiting on DC3 to drop to see how the two major acquisitions, Exum and Sullinger, work out. Then I got some decisions to make next offseason with Parsons coming off the books, and Dirk probably retiring.

Re: NBA 2K15 Fictional Draft Classes by CWSapp757/Dreece/Blindside for XBOX One
Since I have gotten more stick time with some DC1 players here are some of my thoughts(humble as they are) and impressions on them.
Spoiler
Dre Redd - playing with him on a Suns team, and he is a beast. Averaged 17ppg/9rpg as a rookie. His stamina is the main thing keeping him back from being an all star so far. Can definitely see him becoming top big man in a few years.
Chris Valentine - playing with him on a Timberwolves team. So far I have struggled with his shot, but can see that he knows how to score. Pairing him with Wiggins is going to be interesting down the road.
Zach Shene - on a Mavs team. I couldn't seem to get his shot and coming off the bench behind Dirk didn't give him a ton of opportunities to show his full self. I ended up trading him for some depth at other positions. However, when I played against him he showed he could score from mid range in. Made me wish a little that I hadn't traded him.
Gabriel Finney- on a Mavs team. I was able to get him at the first of the 2nd round as he was one of those rare picks that fell far from where he should have gone. At one time he was starting when Monta and Devin Harris were hurt. He can really take it to the hole, and is very athletic around the rim. Can also dunk on the break with authority. I didn't give him much chance to shoot from outside, so not sure how good he was outside the paint. Ultimately, I traded him in the offseason after his rookie year to go along with Rondo and get Dante Exum. I can see him becoming a decent starter or a sparkplug off the bench.
Domingo Santana- Have had him on a couple of teams, always get him early part of second round. The guy can't shoot a jumpshot or dunk to save his life, but he can finish around the basket and draw fouls like no else's business. Even though he was always rated lower than some other players, I loved using him for those couple of minutes a game I needed someone on the floor to score while the starters and major bench guys were resting. I always seemed to get 8mins/6-8 pts out of him everytime. His big drawback is if he was outside his guy would never cover him and clog the lane, causing serious spacing issues. That's why I could only every play him a couple minutes a game. Will prob always be that 8-10min game guy to hog the ball while the main guys are resting in the middle of the game.
Rahim Hill - on Mavs team. He never really crossed my radar until I needed a backup center and traded for him. I ended up really liking him as a backup center to Tyson. He has the body to rebound and block some shots, and can finish around the rim better then other centers I have seen. I had some offers for him that were tempting, but ultimately I like having him on the team and think he could in the long run become a very good starter.
Keondra Hunter- Suns team. He is definitely a streaky shooter. Some games I couldn't miss with him and others he couldn't hit the broad side of the barn. With some work on defense and continued progression on his shooting, could see him becoming a very good sixth man scorer off the bench.
Barry Casano- A couple of teams. A favorite of a lot of people, and I can see why. Can't do much else, but man can he shoot the rock. And has a very quick release. I can only think of one other guy with a quicker one, and he was from past generations, Russell "The Sheriff" Lawson. Probably won't be anymore than a shooter off the bench when you need one. But again, he can do that better than most.
And there are a ton of other guys from DC1 I would love to eventually get to play with: Lucas Bowe, Tashawn Sullivan, Keith Crosby, Nigel Bridges, Amir Hillard, Shai Stone, etc. Circumstances just haven't given me the chance.
So as always, top notch work Sim World team!! Keep it up. I'm excited to see what will come out of DC2 even if it is a little weaker than DC1. And then we all know DC3 is probably going to be a once in a generation if not lifetime class.Comment

I have to second the comments about
SpoilerDre Redd. Everytime I would start dominating with him, he'd need an oxygen mask and a spell on the bench for a little while. He's a beast though. And I loved using Zach Shene. He's like Ryan Anderson but with more mobility and upside.Comment

I have a feeling I'm going to really regret trading Shene away. But with Dirk close to the end of his rope it was a win now move. Injuries had caused some serious lack of depth at other positions. Course, it didn't completely work as I couldn't get past the Warriors. lolComment
