I mentioned in the other thread that some universal issues were causing rookies in the my league as rookies. There were a few other errors we had to fix as well so we had to go back and make sure those issues were taken care of. It's definitely not intentional man.

We just released the real life 2019 class in the other simworld thread so hopefully that can hold you over.

For those of you that have been following us for a while, you know how I am about the bells and whistles that accompany the draft classes so if you're going to use it, make sure you utilize the 100+ scouting report as a tool. It provides information on prospects as well as college statistics, a "Help me Fill A Need in the draft" section, top high school players that will show up in the next few classes and top upcoming prospects. Remember that while most of the information in the report is accurate, just like real life you can be misled. Be sure to use the guide as a way to identify players that you are interested in and the in game scouting tool to dig deeper.

I also wanted to emphasis that all 150 players have been touched. I know that may not mean a lot to most of you as probably only 30 to 50 players out of each class will ever see the court in your MyLeague but for you guys that like to play Summer League, you know that's a big deal.

I set up my mygm when the rosters dropped and haven’t touched it since because I didn’t want to waste time scouting 2k generated players that weren’t gonna exist once the DC1 dropped. Probably gonna be up all night once I get off work.

I got two picks in the top 10, Isaiah Morgan and LeAndre Fitzgerald sure do sound nice...

I can't stress enough the importance of reading the scouting reports though. Doing that will give you the jump on knowing which classes are weak and which are strong. I can't stress enough how much planning goes in to this. You may have two classes in a row with no superstars that you stock piled picks in and then next thing you know, a class comes along with the superstars at the top.

In addition to that, don't forget that we manipulate the peak starts and peak ends so that it's possible to draft a busts. We have it rigged so that a player with a 70 overall and a 90 potential will progress for a year and then freeze. Two years later you realize you spent the number one pick on a guy that maxed out as a 73 overall guy. Chose carefully.

Feels like I know about 45 of these prospects like they’re real people due to the sheer amount of times I’ve read through the scouting report. Again, great job as always. Cannot wait to start!

Nah this year it'll be a bit different. Every few weeks I'll change the peak start and ends for each class so the potentials will remain the same but depending on when you download it, different players will be busts and others will reach that potential.

Quick question on peak start and end changing randomly.
Does this occur while you are editing the draft class?
So, if I load the file you uploaded for myleague, peak start and ends will be same as you uploaded.
However, if I edited your draft class and saved, loaded into myleague, there is a chance peak start and ends for some players have randomly changed.
Is this correct?

I have a question for the masters though. Do we know the fix for how to make the rookies register as being signed when starting a new season? Looks like any drafted rookies are on the roster, but for example in the trade screen, their contract status shows unsigned. This is causing the game to think teams are under the 14 player roster req.

For example, I drafted 2 players and have 14 on my roster. However, when I try to start the next season the game auto signs 2 more players because it thinks the 2 rookies are unsigned (and thus, that I only have a 12 man roster).

This isn’t isolated to your class, but if anyone knows the solution I assume you guys do lol.

Note that this is based on various save points stemming from one Start Today file I started around trade deadline. Maybe it’s a glitch with that or my specific file. I’m going to run tests today.

Cool, appreciate it. I tried a couple things yesterday and same result, but I have a few other ideas that I’ll run through today. I’m surprised nobody else has had the issue since I keep running across it even when starting new files. Again, I don’t think it’s specific to your DC, just figured if anyone knows the solution it’ll be someone in this thread.
