Thank you for the reply. I'll probably edit the class outside of myleague. I just hope peaks don't get randomly changed, I don't want to have a class full of busts lol.

Lol well honestly, I don't know if it's been addressed quietly in a patch but I've seen almost no issues with peak changes and college changes during my recent testing. I think I saw one college randomly change but thats it. You should be good to go bro!

I’m playing with your first fictional class loaded into my Memphis Grizzlies MyLeague. The more I read about Lawson the more I cant wait to get to the draft considering I’m 0-5 to start the season and haven’t been within 20 points.

Midways through my second season now. So far it looks like Lawson will be either a Sun, Magic or Grizzlies player. The lottery draft will be a thriller for those franchises.

After many iterations of the same save with the Pistons on “The League” roster I feel a change coming. For this year I’ll be switching conference and looking at a rebuilder instead of a contending team.

At the moment Dallas is a heavy favourite due to that team being a bit of a mess. Having only read the scouting reports Mr Lawson has to be the highest of priorities for getting this franchise on the way up.

Touché. You make a very valid point. I’ve been tempted to experiment with an expansion team or two. Curious to see how they CPU behaves in that situation.

The downside to using expansion teams is that visually it never looks as good and you lose a lot of the atmosphere inside the arenas.

Hey guys,

The Google Doc is again, amazing. I love all the details with the ratings and tendencies and peak starts/ends, etc. but I am wondering about a few other things.

You guys obviously do extensive testing with potentials, and peak starts and ends to make sure the league stays balanced throughout the years with your roster and draft classes. My question is what is your philosophy with these things.

For example, over a 5 year stretch, how many 90+ potential prospects are in 5 draft classes on average? How many 85+, 80+, etc. I am sure you guys have a huge database to track these things but it is the one thing that is not publicly available on the doc.

Also, if you were to make 3 prospects in a draft all 85POT who came into the league with a 75OVR at 19 years old and a peak start of 25. What are the odds all 3 are a 85 at age 25? Do some surpass this overall? Do some fail to make it?

Also, is there any tricks in a DC to somewhat combat guys who should be out of the league by 22 years old from getting the dreaded D-League boost? The only idea I had was a way earlier peak end so they would start declining faster in their careers but I am unsure of what the side effects may be.

It is not perfect, but if you do not edit the arena you can simply change the floor and nothing else. You have to suspend belief a little bit in cut scenes where you can see banners from a different team but there is ways around it..

I very much appreciate the tips. It is something I’ll definitely do some looking into if that is the route that I go down.

Also in regards to your other post about creating that aspect of classes, I don’t know enough about it to give a helpful response. Definitely wasn’t ignoring it on purpose.
