Re: Armor & Swords NBA 2K15 Pro/Sim/Real FG/FT% "Average Joe" Sliders

These sliders make the game enjoyable for me.

Game scores/stats and player performances are realistic (within reason), and it actually becomes fun and challenging to play again.

I skipped basketball entirely last year, and just got a PS4 in August mainly for Madden, this game, and WWE 2K15.

I am pleased with Madden, and like what I've seen in clips for WWE.

The "stock" version of this game had me doing some head-scratching, and I was entirely ready to "jump ship" to the other brand (which I typically never do until a patch has been issued), but at least now I can try the upcoming demo and make a better decision.

I could live with the game for this season with these sliders, where before I could not have - unless the upcoming patch(es) dramatically improved things.

Thank you for putting the time into these sliders!

Starts with 1.1 are killing me..

You have to not only pick your spots with starters, but know who is coming off bench who can score..

I might actually play 82 for once time ever

Ayo bro, is there a way to tone down the field goal percentages?

A other classic down to the wire for the Cavs franchise. Love these sliders.

Is there anything I can do to help w pip? Teams are scoring 70 percent of there points against me inside. Guys left and right go uncovered down low. I think teams only take 5-15 mid range jumpers, 5-15 3 pointers and the rest are either lay ups or dunks. The opposing team also rarely holds the ball longer than ten seconds, that might be more of my defense not covering anyone down low. My offense stinks but that's more on me learning the controls and such. It's just that part of my defense that's infuriating. Can anyone help????

Going to try this. I've always played on Superstar/Hall of Fame in old gen 2K games, but now on new gen I'm taking beatings on All-Star...

You have to become better at on ball defense. One tip I can give is instead of always trying to cut off the ball handler all the time, try use angles as a defensive tactic. It's more about where he is going, not where he is at. This is something I have struggle with and still do at times. Also, keep some distance between the two of you. If the ball handler is fast you're not going to keep him from blowing by you when playing up close to him. Play the angel and force him away from driving into the paint. And obviously don't try to steal all the time. You're setting yourself up for failure by doing so. Trust me with a little practice and becoming more familiar with defensive strategies, it is very possible to prevent the CPU from constantly abusing you by driving into the paint with ease. Sliders are decent, but personally still need a lot of work and tweaking. Good effort thus far.

The last game I played I played with the contact sliders up higher and with the layup realisc defeisve sliders up to and also with help defisve and I only gave up 50 PIP in that game. Before that game I had not given up less then 58 PIP in a game and I was given up 64 PIP a game in 5 games so I think that may help but I need to play more has 1 game is not enough to say if that helps enough for sure or not.

Just finished the game. Was down the whole game til the last 2 mins of the 4th when Kyle Lowry started making shots. I currently have him playing fewer minutes since he is injured. Never quit and pulled off and extended my winning streak to 8 now and stopped the Bulls' 6 game winning streak.

                          This exactly.
You can also decrease game speed and quickness. As I have posted earlier 45 game speed and 40 quickness will significally help you in D. This year the movement in the defensive stance is real 360 and that's why it's more stick sensitive.
I really love the D this year. I haven't also mastered it as many times I lose my concentration but it's more realistic now. POE, defensive stance and knowing the weaknesses and strengths of your matchups are highly required to succeed.

These sliders may be the greatest sliders ever. I don't get to play as often as I like, and always have ended up in slider hell the past couple of years. I either beat every team by 40 or lose every game by 20. These sliders I can finally have a realistic experience. If I mess up, I'm punished for it, and if I execute, I'm rewarded. I can't ask for anything more than that.

I play with the Bulls and am currently 8-3 thus far. I sometimes beat the tougher teams and even the lousy teams give me a fight for a half at least. I pulled away from Detroit late, and just finished an amazing back and forth game with the Clippers that I won in the last minute.

Major cudos to you sir for these.

Awesome to see a lot of OS'ers enjoying 2K15.

I am in Las Vegas enjoying a much needed vacation and will get back to playing and tweaking this upcoming weekend.
