Re: Armor & Swords NBA 2K15 Pro/Sim/Real FG/FT% "Average Joe" Sliders

I played all-star simulation for about 25 games then used these sliders on pro. I played that way for around 15 games and regularly blew out the CPU so I bumped it back to all star and used the same exact slider set up and was getting real good results except for 3pt attempts by the CPU and free throws. I'm now using the rosters that we've been talking about and have had even better results.

My last game using the sliders and the rosters was Pacers(me) vs 76ers. The rosters are set up based on preseason so I had no West, George, Hill or Stuckey. They only played Noel out of their starters. I won 96-79. I shot 43% and the CPU shot 34%. They did however shoot 26 3s which is a welcome sight. I got 54 PIP vs their 36. Offensive boards for the CPU were 10. The 76ers averaged 10.2 last year. Small sample size seeing as it was one game. I shot 14 FT and the CPU shot 10. If I could just get the free throw attempts up, like double what I'm seeing, I'd be happy with this combo.

A note on my last game the Pistons did average the most offensive boards per game last year averaging 14.6. So seeing is fine. It felt like they had a lot more.

      Hey Kobe

I used to play on All star but it depends on the sliders you are using and also the roster you are using aswell

I recommend using these sliders the way they are. Try them first and then come back

If its really too easy, then you can switch to All star without a doubt

I personally find them too be ok

Ok so you're using these exact sliders without any tweaks but have bumped it to All Star right?? Are you using Tim smooths roster??

Your games seem legit and the stats seem awesome man. Will start my GM mode tonight. Not really worried about some roster changes. As long as tendencies are done

I wanted to ask why real FG% is preferred for most users and not timing?

For me it is the wanting and desire of player ratings to be the primary force that determines the shot outcome and timing to be secondary. With Real FG% it's about getting your player a great look and letting his ratings drive the dice roll. You still have to have a good release...but you don't nearly have to be as perfect. There is more room for error in regards to release point.

Yeah I'm using these exact sliders as they are in the first post but playing the game on all-star difficulty. Just downloaded the timsmooth rosters.

Can I use these sliders on the last-gen ?? I'm asking because on the last gen nobody creates sliders.

First game: All-star & Tim Smooths roster

                      Good feelings.

Maybe too much ball possesion for me and not too much faults. And the CPU´s 3 pointer is a little low...

For the rest I´m really happy!

                      Sorry for my English....

I'm one that had put my pride to the side, so I will respond.

It's all about game flow, and HOW you play.

I lived and died on "Superstar" on 2k14. Got 2k15, and was frustrated with the cheese of craziness of HOF and Superstar mode. I understand being penalized for missing a defensive assignment, but to get penalized EVERY time w/o give on the CPU end... It made me wanna "cheese" to compete. That's not my game, and reason I only play friends online.

"Pro" difficulty may be a punch to your 2k ego, but again, I play the game to have fun and get away from the ills and angers life brings, not to add to them! Bump it to "All-star" and I find myself attempting to cheese the CPU in retaliation.

There is a VAST difference in playing the contending teams, and playing someone like the Bucks or 76ers, as it should be. The Sixers and Bucks shouldn't be going basket-for-basket with me.

Outside of that, I'm rolling with these sliders.

And, most importantly, you can edit the sliders and difficulty in "myGM" at any point. So...

Really appreciate your words, exactly the type of answer i was looking for. And the thing you said, i was always trying to describe it but never managed to as precise as you did. I am good enough to play on HOF and SS but i hate when i start "cheesing", doing unrealistic things just to revenge cpu and get the W.

I can cheese when i want, i won a tournament in 2k14(time to brag) on a gaming event and won a mobile phone with some other things and that wasn't the time i was looking for game to be realistic, i just wanted to win and cheesed as much as i could. When i play 2k against the cpu i just want that game looks realistic and this makes me have fun playing it. Of course that i want to win, but not to harm the realistic look of the game.

I heard that there's that guy that makes really fantastic rosters and that he should release it soon so when he does i'll pair it with these sliders and see how it feels. I hope i'll have as beautiful 2k experience as others here have and enjoy it for some time.

Thanks for these sliders Armor! It was a great run. Had this for at least 15 games and won all of em so I decided to move up and use another set.
