This slider set looks really awsome!
I just have a concern before trying it as I prefer to use "user timing" instead of "real FG%". I like to feel the shot is my responsibility and that I have a real impact wether it goes in or not.
Do you think I can use "user timing" and gets the same good experience as you have?

Give it a try! If shooting isn't quite right, just put in my "Shot Success" sliders and keep the rest of his sliders as-is.

Shady, once I'm done updating my set I think I'm gonna test yours out and post up some shot success sliders here for those who prefer User Timing, just so people who like your sliders have the option!

I love the ball movement that I'm seeing with these sliders, and how the CPU doesn't just cheese its way into the paint on every possession. I hate it that CPU players sometimes completely ignore my defender and hit deep jumpers right in his face like he's not even there, but that's realistic. It makes the quality of the defender truly matter, whereas before I could contest shots with any Joe Schmo and expect the CPU to miss 95% of the time. This is a great slider set!

This was a big time move by the CPU in an intense moment in the game. Loving this game right now.

Pelicans (CPU) vs Bulls. 12 min quarters. Personal roster based off of Hype/DC set. Slider set 7.0.

I think I created a monster! AD was a beast in this game. I was so bummed when I lost because I was up for most of the game before AD and Eric Gordon made a late push. I struggled shooting with Jimmy Butler. Just an inconsistent effort from my Bulls which let the Pels slip by.

I made a couple of tweaks to the slider set. Dropped the user/CPU off red by 5 and raised user/CPU def reb by 10. I think I got some good results there. Unlike most saying they aren't getting to the line as much as the CPU its the exact opposite for me. I'd like to see the CPU get a tad more free throws but the numbers they get now are OK. Saw more turnovers in this game from the last which was nice. I'd like to see a few more contested shots down in the paint though. Otherwise just another great game with the 7.0 set.

Andre Drummond was a beast on the boards and Greg Monroe was unstoppable from the low block as the Pistons win a close game against the Utah Jazz. The game was closely contested throughout, with multiple lead changes. It came down to free throws, and after DJ Augustine hit 2 clutch FTs to seal the deal.

Winning with this set is definately not easy, so getting my first win feels like a great accomplishment. With these sliders, you need to be on your game for a full 48 minutes, or you will not be victorious. Also, without an above-average defender, you will have a hard time, but if you are playing with a bad team, for example the Detroit Pistons, good luck. Like the real NBA, you need talent over everything, and without a great team, wins will be hard to come by.

CPU hedged to far on a screen, leads to an easy dunk.

During the final minutes of regulation, following a made basket, the Jazz applied good pressure up the court, tried to force a TO with a trap, and forced a pass to a very poor free throw shooter in Drummond before fouling.

After switching the on-ball screen, I fell back into the paint, expecting a drive, and the CPU made me pay.

Just a great move by Smith to blow by an obviously slower defender in Perkins.

Once again, great job shady. I took offensive rebounding down by 10 for CPU and user, and getting more realistic stats now.

Well here's the thing with the default settings 2K gives the Shooter a penalty just for your man being in front of the shooter, but now it is more based on ratings. If you don't have an elite defender guys like KD WILL not miss! That's where I focused the majority of my testing time! Hoping to see could shooters dominate more!

Keeping DREB at 5 for both, but I think I'll drop OREB by 10 for both, that should even out the rebounding!

I just want to let you know that as far as percentage wise the roster is working for me for the most part. Team scoring wise it is way too high.

I had so much fun developing this set for the default rosters! I spent so much time perfecting that aspect of the game (Because I knew that that's what a lot of people were using) That I found myself using the default roster more than my custom one! LOL
