Using the default rosters, I upped user mid and 3pt by 2, and CPU mid and 3pt by 3. I shot between 42%-46% in 3 games, but the CPU still shot a bit low, around 40%-41%. Try upping CPU by 4 or5 each. Haven't had time to try that yet.

NO promises whatsoever I may never even be able to repeat these stats, but I got an encouraging game with my tendencies from Anthony Davis...Lost 91-99 as the raptors and AD had 14 in the fourth...the problem is normally jacking up the "Look for post players" tendencies causes way too many backdoor passes and shot attempts from scrub big men! But here you can see I got 17 attempts for AD, and only 4 from Omer Asik! So, it looks good so far, but I gotta see if I'll be able to replicate this!

Nice! Try a game against the Kings to see if Cousins plays well, and then do games against the Rockets and Cavs. Teams like the Warriors and Grizzlies seem to play well all the time, but every time I get the Pelicans and Kings to play well, the Rockets and Cavs seem to have problems :/Comment

The whole all 100s contact slider settings ain't doing it for me so far :/ I want the CPU to be aggressive in driving the lane, but too often it doesn't trigger any contact animation and they just barrel their way through the paint. :/ I had been testing with 100 quickness, and I fear that may be the culprit...CPU controlled guys just move so fast that maybe they aren't registering...idk we'll see!Comment

The best way I found to force contact animations was to make sure the User has a +5 advantage over the CPU in Quickness, Strength, and Speed. The higher Contact sliders and defense strength sliders also help to make sure the defender INITIATES the contact, but if the speed and/or quickness is too high and the User doesn't have that +5 advantage (which nullifies the attribute boost the CPU is given on Superstar), contact animations are skipped.Comment

Shady, just wanna say thanks for all your hard work on these sliders, I know I would never have the patience to test all combinations until you found a formula that works. Defense has always been one of the more difficult aspects of the game to fine tune, with either it being impossible to take advantage of a mismatch, ex. Zbo guarding Curry, or Ty Lawson guarding Boogie Cousins, or superior on-ball defenders being to easy to beat off the dribble. From the clips you've shown so far, you are much closer than all other sets. Thanks for all your work and I absolutely cannot wait until Sunday.Comment

Did some quick tests with the default rosters. All sliders the same except user steal success (40), user/CPU fatigue (55), and the Mid and 3PT shot sliders. I think that if you are using the default rosters,
Mid- 43/45
3PT- 50/52
It is difficult to shoot above 42%, but I feel it should be. Run shooters off screens, use on-ball screens, and take advantage of matchups in the post and you should be able to shoot a decent percentage from the field.

A few things I've noticed the last few days:
Playing with th Clips vs the Spurs, multiple times, either from the elbow or the low block, Tim Duncan jumped on a pump fake vs Blake, but instead of Blake blowing by Timmy, Duncan sort of fell on top of him. No foul was called, allowing the help defender to get into position and defend the shot.
I agree with your previous post, that charges are rarely called. I usually run the Limit Transition POE, which means I almost always have a defender in good position to stop a fast break, but I have not gotten any charges called on a manual attempt, although I did see one on a CPU controlled defender on my team.
Playing against Boogie, he was rarely given the ball, but when the ball did find its way to Cousins, he was very aggressive in shooting, especially against smaller defenders.
Lastly, playing against the spurs is a nightmare, because the ball literally never stops moving. Even with the default roster, the ball was whipped around the perimeter and in and out of the post with a unique and terrifying precision which was exactly like real life. If you raise shot success above "50", I am assuming that makes it easier to shoot?
In other words, the higher the shot success slider is set, the easier it is to shoot? Just want to make sure it is not the other way around.Comment
