Also using Eccentric Meat's sliders as basis for my MyLeague and results are good.

Only slider vlaue I don't understand is lateral quickenss to zero. Can some one (maybe the man himself) explain to me why you put it to zero? What effect are you hoping for? Doesn't that make it even easier to blow by defenders?

I set it to 0 to make it easier to get past defenders, allowing more realistic movement and fluidity on dribble-drives. Only problem is, with the CPU Lateral Quickness set low it makes it TOO easy. In my next update I’ll be increase CPU LQ but keeping the User at 0.

On top of making the CPU more difficult to get past, higher LQ also leads to more charging/blocking fouls as the defender has the quickness needed to stay in front sometimes, which means there are more opportunities for fouls.

First I want to thank you for the set and your effort. Second.. have you got any idea of when you're releasing the new set? Can't wait lol

I’m still working on it but I have been pretty distracted. It’s usually this time of the year that gets me re-focused into the NBA though, so hopefully a big trade will go down to bring back some much-needed HYPE.

Started using these sliders in my Rockets MyLeague and it's made the game incredibly enjoyable.

I only got the game a few weeks ago, but I tried every difficulty setting. I DESTROYED opponents on Pro and All-star, but I got by butt kicked against Hall of Fame. I couldn't buy a bucket.

These sliders completely changed the game. I could actually play like James Harden and Chris Paul. The Sixers were scoring on me a lot but it didn't feel completely unnatural.

At the end of the game they got it within 1 and I put my defensive group out there and shut them down to get the win. It was easily the most satisfying victory I've had in this My league.

Well I asked for trades to bring back the HYPE, and after watching that Celtics/Cavs game I’m SOLD.

Haven’t been this excited about the NBA since Lebron went to the Heat. Gotta love watching a team actually have fun out there [emoji1305]

Ive been pretty down on 2k lately, Ive been trying different things but cant seem to get it to work the way I want it to. Basically its too easy. Mostly, I believe, due to the AIs terrible terrible shot selection. A big question though; does it matter what difficulty you had it set to BEFORE you changed sliders and it became "custom"? Because I cant remember, maybe when I started tinkering with the sliders it was set to something too easy. I just noticed that you had "difficulty" in your sliders and that got me thinking. If it indeed matters... omg that UI is so bad, why wouldnt it say "pro - custom" or "hall of fame - custom" so you'd know what the baseline difficulty was...

And Im not bragging about it being too easy, I play on 35 speed so that makes it a hell of lot easier lol. Normal is too chaotic for me.

The Switch version hasn't been patched in a while? That's aggravating...

I have it on the Switch as well, so I'll be able to test on there as well to see if tweaks need to be made!

That's the million dollar question. Last year we were told it does make a difference, but they never said exactly what difference it makes besides "You get the full ACE functionality from the AI on Hall of Fame", but still haven't really described even that very well.

Sorry for asking in 100% the wrong thread but I couldnt find a question about this anywhere and Im not allowed to create my own threads yet. But I just altered a future draft pick slightly (he was unrealistically good) in myleague and it asked me if I wanted to "create a storyline for him". WHAT ON EARTH does that mean? Cant find a single mention of it on the internet either. Created a backup save and tested it but seemingly nothing happened. Id love an answer, sounds... interesting? Or possibly really silly...

Interesting.. I’ve never messed with rosters or draft classes so I haven’t the faintest idea.

Maybe ask in one of the draft class roster threads?

the stats slightly change throughout the year, let's say you create a player at 75 OVR and decide to go with the storyline then his OVR may either increase, decrease or remain the same.
There's also in the social media section when you look at the player page some sort of news regarding "college" games like so and so had a 32-8-9 night and "he may be a future NBA star"

I haven’t used Real FG% this year so I’m not 100% sure. In years past the shot success sliders had to be tweaked pretty heavily to get decent results, and I expect that to still be the case!

Any progress on the updates?

Slow progress. I haven’t had a long test session in a week or two, lately I just lose interest in testing after a half hour or so.

I basically just need to sit down and get it done in one sitting, I’m just not motivated/interested enough to do that right now.

What are you trying to test/fix? What is it about your current sliders (base 4) that you think can be improved?
