Hey Eccentric, it's really great to see you back at it. I honestly have a hard time playing this game without your work on sliders.

I understand not wanting to release numbers that aren't final, but if you ever need help testing anything, maybe posting a separate, section labeled "beta" would help. I'd gladly offer my 2 cents if you need additional eyes.

I’ve thought about the “beta” thing before, but honestly I change things around so drastically and frequently when I’m testing (just trying to get a gauge of how sliders interact with one another) that “beta” updates would take almost as much work as regular updates!

I like to think of any version I post as a decimal (like v4.5 or 4.6) as a beta of sorts, whereas the more finalized updates are 4.0, 5.0, and so on.

I’ll try to post more test settings like I did a few posts back, though!

Currently playing the Pacers. At the half, they took 12 threes so far. They took 9 FT to our 3. They’re shooting 47 percent and we’re shooting an amazing 57 [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] yet we’re only up 4. We have 4 and they have 3 turnovers.

That's great news, I also noticed that playing with King Gro's roster gives me better overall experience regardless of the slders and I enjoy the gameplay more so even if you don't base your sliders off his roster I think you should try it.

There are a couple rosters I’m interested in trying out, I just wish more of them were on both consoles so I don’t leave anyone out.

If only the Xbox One had even 2 or 3 decent exclusives, I would buy one and tweak sliders for custom rosters on both consoles.

Until then, I’ll just stay cozy on my PS4 with exclusives like God of War, The Last of Us, Uncharted 4 and 1-3 remasters, Horizon, etc...

I like the variety you seem to be getting! While I love seeing games with 24+ FTs for both teams, it’s just a reality of the sport that some games have fewer than 10 FTs for a team.

Now, if the CPU starts lacking FTs because they’re simply not attacking the basket enough to draw those fouls down low, THAT becomes an issue!

But on a whole season (more than 1000 games) how often does it happen that one of the two teams does not have at least 10 shots?

Out of each team’s final game of the regular season, 4 of the 30 teams shot 13 or fewer free throws.

It’s not normal, per se, but low FT games are not rare.

Yeah, completely understandable. I should have some time over the next several days, so if you post any tweaks your working on I'd be glad to try them out for you.

I'll have to pass the time somehow until the WCF on Monday...

Have you had any issues with jump ball situations (particularly in-game but also Q1/OT)?

Yea, that’s just the game for you. I THINK I figured out the timing so that my guy will at least jump instead of staying in that stupid delayed crouch animation, but it still happens every once in a while.

I played a few games recently and got like 2-3 free throws from the CPU but I didn’t screenshot because I was in a rush.
