Might as well put the offensive tendencies here until I can get home and update the OP:

Offensive Awareness - 65 (still testing but I like the results)

Tendencies
Take Inside Shots - 70
Take Close Shots - 0
Take Mid-Range Shots - 40
Take 3PT Shots - 40
Post Shots - 40
Attack the Basket - 100
Look for Post Players - 100
Throw Alley-Oops - 50
Attempt Dunks - 50
Attempt Putbacks - 25



They’re not perfect, but they’re much better and the CPU DEFINITELY makes you pay by working the ball around and finding the open shooter. Multiple times I’ve had to chase and close out on multiple shooters as the CPU pulls me out of position with multiple passes.

NBA 2K18 "The Eccentric Edition" - Realistic Slider Set

We dominated from quarters 1-3 but in the 4th the Celtics tried to come back. These new settings definitely bring out the shot blockers. And boy, would you look at those free throws! Only thing I would recommend is making more shots around the rim now that the shot blockers are more active but I’ll continue to play to see if there’s more variety.

Stats look great! Glad you enjoyed the first game.

When you say “make more shots around the rim” do you mean have the CPU attempt more shots down low? Or do you mean increase the success of those shots?

The success on both ends. Bump the percentages up a tad.

Yea, I haven’t updated the shot success sliders yet as I’m doing that after I get the defense sliders finalized. Thankfully they’re easy enough to tweak as needed from person to person.

I would increase Inside Shot Success by somewhere between 2-5 clicks until you get the results you want!

6 min qtrs. I was tor. After we both shot the lights out in the 1st half,both teams came crashing down in the 2nd half.
Couple of things.
Free throws still a problem.
The cpu seemed to relentlessly attack the basket,lack of 3 pters.

I was the Mavericks. I couldn’t get used to some of the releases but Giannis was out there scoring off fastbreaks for most of his defensive rebounds smh

I’ve never had an issue with CPU 3 shooting. Only free throws here and there

I put inside shot success to 52 and that dosen't sem to be a problem anymore.

Agreed with the other 2. Maybe lower the attack the basket slider and increase the 3pt one?

What about the pick and roll defense, how does CPU do it, definitely my biggest issue with 2k18. I would try the sliders myself but won't be able to do it until tomorrow so just asking what is your's experience with it.

With the sliders I’m still testing, 90% of the time PnR Defense is fantastic. Sure there are still occasions where you’ll catch the Defense napping and get a free lane to the basket, but most of the time the help is there while also shutting down the pass to the screener.

Hmm, in my last two games the CPU shot over 30 3s both times.

I’m guessing it might be an issue with specific teams and not the sliders.

That's great news, I also noticed that playing with King Gro's roster gives me better overall experience regardless of the slders and I enjoy the gameplay more so even if you don't base your sliders off his roster I think you should try it.
