I have been averaging 20 or so free throws per game for user and cpu since patch 4 but I have also been using a custom roster since patch 4 so maybe the roster im using is what improved the fouls.

I think this set of sliders is the best, it's the only one with which the game at HOF works as it should. I made only a couple of changes, defensive awareness for user at 55 and for cpu at 43. this my last four game in myleague

I think so, celticLG seems to me that he said that he has touched up the trends and therefore also those on the phalluses

          Great screens, and thank you!

So after 3 days of fighting with a windows 10 upgrade (I was on Windows 7), I was finally able to play more last night with the new patch, thank you all of your patience.

The sliders still work as they should, and despite the curving on steals (reach in steals happen less, and more fouls are called), the steal numbers are still solid. In regards to threes attempted, don't hesitate to bring that CPU slider to 100, it's not overkill. Personally, I have it at 70 right now, with the rest of my sliders the same as the screens.

I'm a believer in sticking with what works, and not trying to reinvent the wheel based on one person's feedback, or based on just "having an update" . I've seen some drastic changes to sliders where I just scratch my head. I'm seeing people going from movement sliders almost the same as mine, back down to default (followed by someone stating they couldnt get by someone, or fastbreak concerns) followed person going back to similar increased speed sliders, etc. The reason why games get broken by patches at times is because the companies listen to the LOUD minority of people complaining about certain aspects of a game, so they patch the game which creates more issues and frustration for the silent majority.

I've also seen people stating that sliders were perfect, followed by a drastic change where they say they are also perfect or almost perfect, followed by another drastic change stating the new slider set will "blow people away". The bottom line is: nobody is making money off these sliders, and the ultimate goal is to improve your own experience with the game as well as others, and anything done outside of those two reasons can actually negatively impact the quality of said sliders and people's experience with them and the game.

In this thread, unnecessary changes or drastic changes will not be made. We will make slight tweaks here and there, but overall before and after the patch the numbers are looking solid, and people are stating they are really enjoying the gameplay. The feedback in here has been awesome, and I really appreciate that from all of you.

Bottom line, this isn't a bash session on other threads, it's being honest about trends I see on some slider threads, and setting a realistic expectation for you guys who come and visit this thread.

Keep the feedback coming, thank you all.

Another great game @retrodee4three...My first lead of the night at the end of the third quarter...amazing gameplay. Season high for RW with 44 points. Only one thing..the CPU free throw

Try raising the foul sliders to 90 (all of them for User and CPU).

You could also try upping body up sensitivity to between 15-25, however I hate to mess with that because I like the pace and flow the way it is. But that would create more contact on the inside and outside.

Loving the game scores, seems like you are enjoying the gameplay.

I have been hearing great things and I have been keeping an eye on the thread. Im interested in trying your set with the custom roster im using, all stats are very similar to the ones posted above, only difference is I'm seeing 20-25 free throw attempts on both sides. If you want me to try with the custom roster and see if fouls are better I will do it, anything to help the community. Great work my guy!

                  Re: Improved Player Movement Sliders

Played the game in MyLeague with your sliders and it went great. I played with the Spurs against the Wolves and I lost by 10. I did make some small tweaks but as you said your sliders should be considered a base which everybody can modify according to their playstyle and the kind of game they want to get.

I put CPU 3pt tendency at 100, lowered pass accuracy as I think there should be more turnovers and raised fould sliders across the board. They attempted a lot of 3s, and I am talking about the Wolves who shoot the lowest number of 3s per game in the league. I think a slightly contested 3s is a lot better shot than the highly contested close shoot CPU tends to take too often IMO.

Anyways, game was challenging, I was losing, Towns and Butler were really really difficult to stop, but I enjoyed it, looking forward to playing more games using your sliders

The sliders are good as a stand alone, or as a base with tweaks. Many have reported back that they were happy with the results as is. Every slider set I have seen has minor tweaks that the end-user makes, so that's normal. I really appreciate the feedback and I'm happy you had a good experience with them. I love seeing all the box scores and detailed feedback.

Go for it. Player tendencies certainly play a factor, so I am sure that has something to do with your increased numbers. Thanks for all the feedback you have been providing. I know that after the recent patch, I still use the slider set (with HOF shooting) as is from the first post, and I'm have really solid (and fun) gameplay, and solid stats.

Sorry I have not had a video up in a little bit. Fighting with the Windows 10 upgrade took a few days away from me. I am also currently modding/making and helping with rosters on PC, so fitting in gameplay at times is a little tough (especially making and uploading videos, its time consuming). However, I will have a new one up soon.

Mine are a bit different to RetroDee's though cos i used All-Star as a base, and i also made some minor changes of my own. But the meat and potatoes is the same (the movement stuff). I can post them here if you want?

I looked back at pre-patch streams and game speed looked to be much slower at the same setting level. The easiest way to spot it is how fast a free throw goes from hand to basket. I'm up from 64 to 66 Game Speed and it still feels a bit slower than before the patch.
                                - Very small changes to Speed w/ Ball, Speed w/o Ball, Acceleration w/ Ball, and Acceleration w/o Ball. There is a slight 1-2 point edge to User over CPU to make up for the All-Star difficulty boost. There is also an edge to w/ Ball over w/o Ball to make up for the animation delay lag in catch/finish animations throughout the game.
Have you found the game speed to be different post-patch?

Do you agree with the 2nd bolded point too? YouALREADYknow usually knows his $hit
