I'm on superstar and want to know if I should include all of your sliders including the speed and acceleration and the other sliders or just the movement sliders

You can continue to play on Superstar and just use my movement sliders. The other sliders on the first post are optional sim sliders that you could use with them.

I primarily use my player movement sliders with default HOF.

Should I include the speed and acceleration attributes sliders

Yes. If you want to have the movement that I show on my video example on the first post, you will want to include the speed and acceleration sliders. Make sure your game speed is at 48.

Interesting that the speed and accel sliders are what they are in here ... IMO the videos you posted look a little herky-jerky.

I've been using the same movement settings that Eccentric had for his excellent slider set in 2K18, below, and really like the player movement. Might give some of your other settings a look tho.

            Movement
Speed with Ball (Max rating) - 60
Speed with Ball (Min rating) - 35
Acceleration with Ball (Max rating) - 55
Acceleration with Ball (Min rating) - 35
Speed without Ball (Max rating) - 97
Speed without Ball (Min rating) - 45
Acceleration without Ball (Max rating) - 93
Acceleration without Ball (Min rating) - 45

in addition to the movement settings of EccentricMeat have you also used its speed and acceleration cursors in the attributes?

If that works for you, awesome. I don't see it as herky jerky in my video. The whole point of my set is to loosen up the control, and improve on pace/acceleration and speed, and to also eliminate speed/acceleration breaks.

When I use the default sliders, the speed breaks (Acceleration and just changing directions) a lot, making the game feel clunky and making you the user not have as much control. Fastbreaks crawl (With and without the ball), and players don't really differentiate from eachother. So my sliders loosen are intended to loosen things up.

If animations every now and than appear sped up (Not broken, but sped up) I am fine with that as long as the control exists and players are differentiating from eachother on the floor. As long as the game doesn't feel sluggish with an unrealistic pace, my sliders did what I wanted them to do.

However, thank you for your input. I'll give those sliders a try as well.

I've kept speed and accel at default so far, to good results

                      Re: Improved Player Movement Sliders

The majority of complaints that I have heard about this game are related to it feeling "Sluggish", players hitting invisible walls/getting stuck on other players or sucked in, slower than real life pace, speed "breaking" and people just feeling like they lack control.

Which were the most pressing areas for me as a player as well. I can handle animations that look a little sped up, as long as the overall experience is improved in the areas of pace/flow, acceleration, and just overall control.

We need to put the excitement of NBA basketball into 2K19. As in, explosive moves/first steps exist, fastbreaks are mostly FAST in regards to players with and without the ball, etc.

And most importantly, you the user should feel like you have control over the action. The game needs to feel right. Nothing is more important to the game feeling right than the player movement itself.

Right now it's at default, but I'm considering adjusting that. With that said, I'm able to get to the hole with players like Kyrie and Oladipo very well

My problem with default was: I hit invisible walls more (Caught on corners that I shouldn't). Example, I would have a clear path to the hoop off of a move, and I would BARELY make any contact with my opponents body (He would be practically on my side) and my player would just stop, or awkwardly run in place.

I was also getting "Sucked in" more. Like on one of my videos on the first post showing Derrick Favors getting sucked into two players. I feel when body up sensitivity is lowered, that doesn't happen as often. The other issue was the "slow motion" side by side running that would occur when you would try to round the corner on a drive. This looks and feels ugly, players don't just run in slow motion side by side (Especially on drives turning the corner). This is cut down significantly with these sliders.

That's fine, but what I'm trying to balance is not making it super easy to drive and score all of your points in the paint. Not saying that's the case with yours, but just my mindset. And that's my fear with some of these sliders.

Oh absolutely. I took that into account.

I struggled to score with Rivers and Satoransky, but not as much with Wall. I still got held up and challenged with Wall (either by help defense or the on ball defender)

My biggest issue with 2K18 was the blow by ability (and just defense overall). Certainly wouldn't try to emulate that.
