Going to give them a longer try tonight and this weekend but so far I'm enjoying the faster pace of play and improved player movement.

I'll probably have to adjust a few sliders on my own since I mainly use classic players who have inflated attributes, but these are an excellent base and thanks to you guys who have done the testing.

    Awesome, great to hear.

For the others asking for the full set, I'll try to get to it this weekend. Thanks for your patience.

I've been holding off buying 2K19. Did patch 3 eliminate or reduce this sliding/skating?

It did not. But with improved player movement after messing with the sliders, the game overall is enjoyable for me.

My recommendation is: find a way to try the game (at a friends, store or something) before you buy. When you try it, try it with default sliders first, and custom sliders second.

          Re: Improved Player Movement Sliders

Alright, so these will also be posted on the first post on this thread.

So I've been experimenting with the sliders, trying to combine the areas I mentioned above that are the most important. This slider set takes two forms, one (Which will be the main set) is more to challenge you against the CPU, and in order to hold them to realistic shooting percentages, you will have to play sound defense. The second set is tailorer around a more loose approach, and the more loose approach is having the CPU offense sliders match the user sliders.

          *Game Speed: 48

For User, everything else is the same but the offense section at the top. Here are those sliders.

*Hidden is contact shot success, which should be at 48

I'll state again: If you want to relax the gameplay a bit, keep all the sliders the same but change the CPU offense (top section) to the User sliders from that section.

And, if you want a better challenge than both options above, do HOF shooting for CPU and User, while keeping the other sliders the same.

MrWrestling3, I kept your foul sliders (I really like them) but made tweaks in the other areas. All feedback and suggestions welcome.

          Thanks all.

Also, here is a game I played with that set, but CPU/User HOF shooting.

Sup Dee, good work, miss the mods from over at nlsc, my pc blew out so I'm on the console for now. Appreciate what you have done here. Is the 75/50 ratio for both hum and CPU and which are there for?

I know the game starts out on CPU so would it be 75 CPU 50 hum? Or vice versa.

              Edit..

Not sure if its right but I just took it as it was the same for hum and CPU.

Like 75 both hum and CPU, 50 both hum and CPU

Then did the same for the rest 9f your stats, I didnt do the update ones I'd rather the challenge then looser.

Hey man, surprised you got the console version, you loved the mods. But I understand, getting a PC that can run the game well is expensive, sorry your PC blew out.

You did it right, it's 75/50 for user and cpu for those sliders. And yeah I'm the same, I prefer the challenge, just wanted to give others an option to play a more relaxed game if they wanted. So the new slider set has 3 options: Best challenge which is default HOF offense sliders while the rest of the sliders are the same as the ones I posted screens of, an option for relaxed gameplay which is all the CPU offense sliders mimicking the user sliders while the rest stay the same as the screens I posted, and the regular set that is tailored towards more of a realistic flow stat wise while still giving you a solid challenge.

Let me know if you have any questions, glad to see you on OS.

It's awesome to see you as well bro! I wanted to say thx for doing these and these settings are amazing. This will be my set I use from here on out. The computer moves the ball fluently and is very responsive to bad defense.

I have not tryed these on hof, I inputted them to start on pro. This year game defense is really suffocating and you really have to stay focused! And with your set up players like Westbrook, Lebron, Kd litterally are just explosive as they are almost in real life.

I shouldn't be surprised Dee lol I know how awesome your work is normally, i guess I'm kinda surprised how well its transferred over to the consol.

I'm looking forward to one day getting back to some mods some day. Anyway thank you again and you stay blessed bro.

I also just want to say thank you for these sliders. I loved 2k19 from the start but your sliders really corrected most of the issues I had with the game. The only thing that IMO still needs some tuning is that CPU is attacking the paint too much and sometimes does it at all costs. Maybe I am doing something wrong, we all want a aggressive and challenging CPU but I'd still look into improving that part.

Playing MyLeague with barncore's ml sliders and your gameplay sliders and really having a blast.

The only way I've seen to get that down is to adjust rosters, specifically lowering the Drive tendency (should be VERY LOW for most players), lowering Iso vs Elite/Good/Avg/Poor (should also be VERY LOW or zero for most players), and raising the Run Plays for teams to basically 100 in Coach Profiles. Even then, if there are players with Isolation or Guard Post Up Play Types then the default action out of those play types is to try to get past the defender and to the basket.

This is great feedback, thank you!!!

And in regards to the drives, the person who posted above is correct in a sense, so you could go in and edit the players. However, I will note: In 2K19 if you give the CPU any room (Including doing the joystick up jump out thing, or favoring one side) the CPU will drive almost 100% of the time. Next time you play, do the quick flick of the joystick up towards the ball handler, and you will see he will run past you every time and drive (Or pull up from 10-13 feet).

My recommendation outside of lowering driving tendency, is to play sound defense and stay in front of your man. Don't gamble unless you are intentionally funneling the offensive player to the hoop into a shot blocker, or if you have a favorable matchup on defense where you can gamble for a steal. I find that I've had good luck forcing the CPU into more outside shots by making it a point to stay in front of my man whenever possible. This also includes closing out with the joystick but not overrunning your assignment.

So I used these sliders in the Steam '2 hour demo' and you've done sucha great job that without these I almost certainly wouldn't have kept the game, so thanks for you work. HoF is too much for me though, so I'm down at Pro with a few shooting tweaks to help me (I'm the wrong side of 50 and my reaction/timing isn't what it used to be!) so I can still enjoy the game and win a few.

Glad you trusted the sliders enough to use them on the 2 hour demo, I didn't even know Steam was doing that.

Great to hear that you like them. If you start getting more comfortable with the game, you could try the relaxed set that I talked about on the first post. The player movement part is the same (So you will be able to enjoy that part), but the shooting sliders from user/cpu match, but are lower than what you would see on Pro (Sub 50). So that would give you a little more of a challenge hitting shots (And the CPU defense will be a little better), but it will still give you a more relaxed approach.

I like the "all ages" crowds I'm seeing in the sliders section. I plan on gaming into my 50's as well.

                              Thanks again for the feedback.

First off these sliders are awesome and i appreciate you and other people working on them! What would you say speaks to the cpu superstars tendencies the most, as in making them play like their real life counter part. Which set best speaks to that?
