Duce its not your fault man, that patch just ruined everyone’s sliders

Seems that way doesn't it. It's crazy ridiculous that they can't put out a realistic playing game out the box, they give us the tools with sliders to fix it, only to mess that up with their own updates. I've stuck with them, but man I think they may be finally pushing me away.

I agree that shady had the best foul settings. Basically everything is at 100 besides like one thing.

DL’d this set this morning and would definitely say they played well. I had no trouble shooting. Ball control seemed a little loose (too many steals on both sides) to me off first impressions. I’m going to try playing with the speed a little higher too, as I like it a little faster than slow.

I'm gonna have to quit playing for a bit I think. I started another game with your set and again my shooting was atrocious. You weren't having issues when I watched your stream so I guess it's just me somehow. I feel like I can't move or pass the ball without an insane amount of steals either. The game is basically trash for me at the moment and that's all on 2K.

I do set this up to be a difficult game, but I would be very interested if playing from a different base level (i.e. pro or all star) would help with shooting without having too many side effects.

got a similar problem when I tested the last update from Duce. I shot around 3/23 13% FG per quarter and I don't talk about little shot close to the rim or layup that don't go in even if my player is one head taller than my opponent...

I dunno man. I'm so frustrated with the game currently. I would have been fine just sticking with Shady's but the 2K updates and him seemingly not updating anymore ruined that. My shots just won't fall with yours and I take good shots. With your earlier sets it was just layups and close shots. Now I can't shoot period.

Do you guys run the plays and find the open man? I haven’t had any trouble yet (I only played a half). Before I had to leave I was beating the Jazz with the Pelicans and was shooting pretty well.

Yes always. Open shots are not falling. Players blow easy layups and close shots. It basically feels like I'm playing with shot timing and horribly timing the meter but on real fg%.

I would say try to use the lower difficulty settings as a base. I'm pretty sure they have longer windows for hitting shots.

I'm gonna be setting the steal success lower as I've been seeing similar things with that.

I typically don't have issues on HOF though. Been player with HOF sliders for years. I'm not talking about missing heavily contested or tough shots. These are open 3s then a bunch of close stuff.

If they are wide open, from my experience, they should be falling at a decent clip. Sorry for all the questions but without video I have to ask.

Are you using shot feedback?
Are you setting up your defense pre game?
What teams have you played so far and what were results?
Have you played full games?

I would double check next time you load up a game in the pause game menu that you’re not accidentally on user timing instead of real fg%.

Also, duce, just watching your stream: that first entry pass to Richaun Holmes where he flat out drops it is the stuff I personally don’t like seeing over and over. Once in awhile is totally fine to have the bad hands, but I rather have that happen on long outlet passes where it’s more realistic. Maybe that’s causing the sloppy ball handling and passing?

I turn shot feedback off.
I set my defense, but cpu shooting hasn't been an issue. It's user.
Most recently Magic (user) vs Denver (CPU) and Pacers (user) vs Kings (CPU). I played the entire Magic vs Denver game. I stopped halfway through the 2nd quarter on the other because it was going the exact same way. I was shooting 25% when I stopped.

I'm seeing a lot of the passing issue you mention. Had one where Sabonis is in the post, I pass him the ball and without either players feet moving the defender steals the ball. It was weird.
