Just to get a few replies out of the way:

I have not uploaded anything to 2K Share as of yet.

Shot Success Sliders are fully up to the user and can be increased or decreased however anyone sees fit, for both User and CPU. If you use a different timing profile and/or only use one team, you’ll need to decrease these sliders as you’ll quickly learn everyone’s release animation and timing becomes consistent and simple. While testing, I am constantly using different teams so that I get a feel for every team. That inevitably means my user Shot Success settings will be higher than necessary as I never sit and learn literally every player’s jump shot.

The update will be posted when it’s ready. I’m still nailing down a few things. In the meantime, feel free to try these changes:

        Help Defense Strength - 90

        Offensive Rebounding - 80/75
        Defensive Rebounding - 60/55

        Take Inside Shots - 55
        Take Close Shots - 40
        Take 3pt Shots - 55

        Charging Foul - 85
        Blocking Foul - 95

Game Speed at 50 for Play Now, or 52 for MyNBA.

For added difficulty and variety, mass-edit the roster in MyNBA as outlined below:

I also increased the Draw Foul and Take Charge tendencies by 10 as well, which gave a LOT more foul calls and charge attempts. And I also gave everyone a +1 to these Badges: Glove, Interceptor, Lightning Launch, and Pick Dodger.

Default. Haven’t felt much need to change them this year.

Hi Eccentric, today I played a game with the sliders on page 1 and the various changes you recommended to the roster and the new changes to the sliders you have recommended these days ....It has been largely the best game played to date. Real trend, real statistics in all! And I finally lost! I found that difficulty I was looking for ... until today I had only lost 1 game of 14 played. Today's game, Lost by 18, was tough! Just what I was looking for![emoji1303][emoji1303][emoji1303]

The only change I made are the success of shooting. User and CPU 55 55 57 57. Shared Like Eccentric 10/3

                    BETA UPDATE v0.9!

Yup, jumping right up to v0.9, because this update won’t need much if any tweaking to reach v1.0.

The OP has been updated to reflect all the various test settings and updates posted throughout this thread, as well as the few roster tweaks I highly recommend to give the gameplay that little extra push to reach its full potential. I will be reformatting the roster tweak section shortly, as it is currently just a copy/paste of a reply I posted a page or two back.

As always, any and all constructive feedback is highly appreciated! Enjoy

Thank you for it. For values that you didn't write anything about, they stay at hall of fame difficulty default slider values , right?

We set it to hallf of fame default and then tweak the sliders on the values that are going to be changed and leave the other ones unedited which you haven't written a thing about?

Correct. I’ll go through and add the few missing (default HOF) settings later today just to avoid any confusion.

Just pushed the new suggested updates out and had one of my favorite games yet. Felt great controlling the full team and in player lock.

I think adding the Pick Dodger badge was the biggest difference. Makes off-ball screen plays play out much more realistically. In the base game, you can just run a floppy for any player and almost always get a clean look unless they're being guarded by an elite defender, but this helped big time.

Still having issues with low numbers of turnovers, but this is a legacy issue we've been trying to correct without turning everyone into Gary Payton for 2 decades at this point :lol"

Thanks! Here's the full gameplay for anyone interested.

                              Hi

Played a few games with these and they feel pretty good. Only issues I had were CPU shooting 60-70% and blowing past me easily which caused many easy layups. Help D in 2K is off as every year...

I made some small adjustments to make the CPU a less penalized hair than the user in the attributes section. Updated the eccentric file 10/3. I find these Sliders and this edition of NBA 2K truly excellent
