How do you do a hesitation crossover. Every time I hold both triggers and try to cross over I do a crappy spin move. What am I doing wrong?

If you are doing a spin, you are not holding both triggers.

sirjam is right. You have to see what the defense is giving you and take it. you can't always do a isomotion move. you sometimes might have to do a quick change of direction or a hesitation move or just drive to the basket. it's all about a change of pace.

You have to use the shot stick though

Yea it is relative to the basket not standard. Notice I said "Of basket" - "From basket"

So how do you dive for the ball out of bounds? X (360) works for diving for a loose ball, but many (read: enough to make this post) times i've wanted to dive for a ball going out of bounds and the players just watch it go out.

How in the world do you dunk? My player ends up doing a lay up every time. I can't seem to figure this out.

You need momentum going towards the hoop, and you want to hold RT when you shoot, whether it be with the shot stick or the button.

Has anyone figured out how to grab the opposing player's jersey on Defense? Or was that just some BS 2K told us and it's not really in the game?

As the defender, hold left trigger down while pressing left stick in the direction toward your player in order to grab an offensive player. Don't overdo it at the wrong time, however, because that player can seal you off and/or push you away while you're holding on to him.

Hey guys I figured out that the only way to do the step back hop step (press Y and away from basket) is to have your player rated 86 or higher in the ball handling category. If not and you try to do the hop step back you will not be able to do the move instead your player will just do a normal hop step.

Where the heck can I find the option to practice with any of my starting five? I only see tutorials, free thrown and run plays in the practice options.

I know I was able to do this over the weekend and cannot find this for the life of me know. Strange. Also, I would like to know if there is an option to practice 5-on-5 (outside of "situation" mode).

                              Thanks.

Just go in Passing & Defense, Coaching & Dual Player Control or Off-Ball Control Tutorials then press Back button. It's possible to practice 5-on-5 in either category for as long as you want.
