1. fix the rebounding stats!! rebounds off of blocks are not counted in the stats. HOW HAS THIS BEEN OVERLOOKED FOR SO LONG?!?!

2. player physics / suction animations need to be cut out.

3. shot blocking is awful. you go up for a block at some predetermined jumping height not based on the vertical rating but rather the ball trajectory, and then you go for the swat at a set point but the players never adjust to the movement of the ball. it's very unrealistic.

4. jumping is broken too. how high players get for anything but rebounds is broken. most guys can jump up to the top of the square on the backboard but you never see this in the game. this goes for rebounds and blocked shot attempts. again, this kills the shot blocking in the game as much of the success is based on player height rather that how high a guy can jump. it's a lot easier to get a user controlled block with yao rather than dwight howard when it shouldn't be the case.

They should make the sidelines more interactive like diving into the fans on loose balls or jumping over the scoreboard tables They should also make intros into the game more realistic like player introduction for the away team and Chris Paul #3 Then for the nuggets it goes black and the spotlights and team colors start going everywhere and the say ATT POIINTT #7 for the Denver Nuggets CHAUUUUNNCCEEY BUH BUH BUH BILLUPPPSS. they should also have more realistic signature moves like kobe's 1 dribble pull and Tony Parker's tear drop( just dont make it as cheap as lives) And fix Lebron and Kobe's jumpshot Kobe dosent have that flat of a shot and shoot on the way down and Lebron shoots way quicker than that in real life and after he shoots he doesnt take 10 backpedals (his free throw is way too slow) and Make the post play easier to handle some ppl get it and otheres dont know what the hell they're doing and they just tap x and they do the jump hook. They also should have a better halftime show why even have the analyst's desk there if no one is even behind it and drop T-Mobile!!!!! i Hate the stupid T-mobile halftime report buy-out ESPN from EA they dont even use it in they're game for presentation which having ESPN is good for because you have sportscenter, halftime reports etc. I also think they should bring back The crib, which would fit well into making a superstar mode similar to Maddens where u can make a created player start off at the D-LEAGUE!! not high school and college like other ppl wanted thats taking it too far. Start offf in the playoffs of D-League and the better u do throughout the whole playoffs and depending on if u win the championship or not determines what pick u are in the draft. Then u come into the NBA sign with a team and u can go through the so called "add-on" the NBA 2k10: Draft Combine and work ur way from retirement from there even sitting on the bench and becoming the coach while ur out. Make injuries more common( doesnt have to be serious) if u watch a real NBA game ppl get poked in the eye almost every play (Tim Duncan) its rare to see a injury in 2k9 and make it like maddens where he can get re-injured if u put him back in. 1 last thing they need to make the playoffs more hyped up like Miami's white out or The spurs blackout and Hornets "Yellow out?" idk. And make the winning the finals animation more realistic not justing players running off the bench and then u get handed ur trophy. Make stringers fall for that team color show the players with their hats and t-shirts on and put more ppl on the floor when he is giving the trophy.

1. Have a typical rotation by minutes:

Player X comes in play at 12:00 in the 1st quarter and comes out at 2:00 1st quarter. Comes back in at 10:00 2nd quarter and so on so forth. I want to specify the auto rotation instead of watching the clock every second and manually subbing.

2. I want to be able to specify the focus on offense and defense. What I mean is, I want to set specific ways to defend a team or a player...Defend the perimeter, Keep out of paint, force into jump shot, defend the drive, don't allow the 3pt shot.

Choosing play tight, sag off, etc just doesn't seem to quite do what I want.

I speak for everyone when I say this NBA 2K10 needs better Presentation such as crowds, have them go crazy when a huge shot is made, or down the stretch in the 4th quarter if the game is close. Real arena sounds like at the game, real PA Announcers, better shot graphics, the create a team and player feature need to be alot better, create a arena, better highlight options for the reel, allstar weekend not the blacktop, pregame shoot around, have them wear the warm up uniforms on the bench and the shootaround. Online needs to go faster and better. Have up to date trades were what they were wearing the previous game. NBA D- League games and summer league. Crowd size depending on how good team is during season except for exhibition games, those are sold out, show the arena before the game! 10 day contracts. Call up from D-League. Be able to choose retro jerseys and also be able to wear road jerseys at home like give the option tho chose which jersey to wear. Pre-game rituals. Also you need to put Intros on.:wink:

Also another thing is Kobe needs a better jump shot than the one he has its to flat. We need more interest in the game as well like career mode were you can drive home after games or practices and things getting on planes and buses. I would buy it even if it cost over 60 dollars as long as it has interest.

1) Fix the doggone bug where you can't edit created teams after creating them.

2) The uniforms are ok but the uniform number texture makes it look like you poured glitter on them! Scale back on that a little.

3) Have more create-a-team options than just choosing from 6 or 7 pre-made jerseys!

4) Simplify the controls. To do a spin move requires R1 + move the left stick in a semi-circle??!! No way to remember all those moves in a split second in game. Apparently VC thinks it's more important to have 20 kinds of dunks than to make a nice enjoyable game that the casual fan can pick up and play.

5) The announcing team is simply one of the WORST I've ever heard in a sports sim - and that includes John Madden. I turned off commentary because the PBP guy just says the SAME 5 lines over and over and over.

I first played the series as NBA2k1 on the Sega Genesis and I actually thought that presentation-wise that was better on that 1st-gen system than on the 3rd gen. It used to be the best sim out there of any sport but it's gone downhill.

You used to be able to play the street ball on a selection of courts. The VC and Sega teams used to play their home games (by option) on an outdoor court. The controls used to be a lot simpler. You used to be able to edit the logo on created teams, for Christ sake.

I have a small request. I'd like 2k to redo their menu system when loading files. I hate to have to sort through all the replays and rosters just to load something. I'd like to have it filtered where I can load playoffs, replays, ect.... Would make things really simple.

How about implementing an option to kick griefers from Team-Up mode? Everyone comes across that one dude who calls all your timeouts, purposefully gets half-court violations, etc.

It would definitely help. Ideally the grading system would factor in with the people you play as well. It doesn't make sense for people who play the game right to have to deal with low-grade jerks (unless no one else is available.)

Making it obvious who called the timeouts, and who is currently speaking would be nice additions too.

CAREER MODE!!!!

Having the ability to create a player and play with him and him only and take him through his career is an essential part to any sports game. Road To The Show is getting a lot of love because of that feature. I think NBA 2k10 would get a lot of love there too. Its just a great addition that SHOULD be made.

Yea I doubt they would put D-League and Summer league into the game but who Knows...

Ok you're going a little bit too far...maybe they could have cutscenes of that stuff like NBA 09 but not actually doing it this is a basketball game not the sims.

quicker jump shots for a lot of the players

technicals being implemented into the game somehow, like unpredictable or expressive players like artest and sheed getting T'ed up after a questionable call or non-foul. or maybe give you an option to argue a call and if its successful the ref will look out the next time and not miss the call and if it fails the player could get a T

suspensions during association mode, flagrant fouls, like if you push the r trigger while contesting a shot the risk of a flagrant foul occuring rises

more offensive fouls other than charging or more fouls in general, i have to raise the sliders to like 90 just to shoot 15 free throws

better presentation, hasn't been the same since the loss of the ESPN license

better defense, im tired of seeing a single player drive to the lane and dunk on 4 people

better coaching and being able to adjust to how the the other team plays

better recruits, at least if you're gonna generate the same player over and over you can give us the option to edit all their appearance and attributes, not just a few things. im tired of seeing every rookie wearing no accessories and ankle socks

theres a few other things, ill think of em later
