    Re: NBA 2k10 Wishlist

    1. Restricted/Non-Restricted FA
    2. EXPERIENCE - now there is no point to play with youngsters, cause they don`t earn exp. They should earn exp. for time play, performance, awards (like Rookie of the Year) etc. (like in NHL from EA)
    3. Balance PitP.
    4. Rookie editor.
    5. More advanced Association mode.

      Re: NBA 2k10 Wishlist
      • Un-restricted/restricted free agency
      • 10 days contracts
      • In the fantasy-draft mode player contracts should be the real ones or let them being signed as they were free-agents
      • Improve customization of bodies introducing features like shoulders width, calves/arms dimension ecc...
      • New hair-styles like nick young's/von wafer's and chris andersen mohawk
      • Quicker shot releases... too much jump-shots are blocked
      • Change some sig shots for example Pau Gasol's & Tim Duncan's (although most of them are already great!)
      • Better fade-away shots... some of them look ugly
      • More effective off-ball screens, often the player who takes the screen just walks away or simply stands!
      • Make mismatches more effective: a point guard guarded by a big man should beat him off the dribble near all the times.. vice versa a big posting up a guard should always back him down (with some exceptions)
      • Free-throws less difficult
      • Eliminate some free-throw syles like the one where the player shoots the ball way over his head (Russell Westbrook's)... it looks unreal
      • Improve some aspects of the fans: they stand on their feet almost every 10 seconds, but they don't really get crazy when for example a buzzer-beater or a for-the-win shot is hit
      • Playoffs fired up athmosphere (loud fans, hard fouls and hits, lower percentages, more games on the line, players going at each others, superstars takin over, role players being decisive)
      • Option to retire a player and to modify ALL aspects of non-created players

Add the D-League into the association mode. Improve on the AI of the player's D and O....people standing there is not going to cut it for 2k10!

I dont know if its been posted or not but how about more realistic dribbles in the open court. Most players when they get to the NBA level dribble with both hands when they are in a fast break. Same hand dribbling is ok for half court though.

A lot of you guys have mentioned the D-League/Summer League, and I think it's a great idea, but this can only work if 2k is committed to creating additional CAPs for these fringe players. If it's just going to be filled with generated players, forget it.

Granted, this makes it's implementation in association mode tricky, but I would be in favor of using some generated players if it's still dominated by official 20-28 year olds trying to make a team. This could also be a fun way to put the Paul Shirley's of the roster into the game.

                Re: NBA 2k10 Wishlist

They did something like this in C-Hoops 2k8 with the ABA/recruiting...I see no reason why they can't update the NBA rosters and D-League rosters with the caps and make this the best b-ball game in the market. Think about it, this no only makes assoc mode deeper but gives you other alt players to have on your team. Besides the "Prospects" on your roster could develop quicker and have some mins and experience.

Also for the "Career" mode fans (or folks pushing for that feature) you could have your guy come up the ranks of the D-League and fight for a roster spot! Demand this feature from 2k sports! It will blow Live out the water.

Oh almost forgot, thanks GMJigga.... lol

                  Re: NBA 2k10 Wishlist

I recently bought NBA 2K9 at GameStop. It brought back a lot of thoughts I had from my original rental period.

A decent create-a-player, create-a-team, creation of jerseys and courts, creating anything and everything, really.

Also, I would like for the player movement to sync up more closely 1-to-1 like in NBA 2K8. Smoother pace to that game.

Additionally, I don't know if this is just for the PS3, but the off-ball control does not work like it says in the tutorial. Off-ball control from NBA 2K8 was pretty nice, although you could cheese quite a bit.

EDIT: I figured out the off-ball. For some reason, it doesn't come up unless I tap L1 quickly or double-tap it.

Dont know if it has been discussed before, but its probably too late now.might be a consideration for the future."Make it so that you can have custom rosters againts other players online in an exhibition game."

Back in the day we used to play with our favorite team plus one extra star(offline). Would be great if we could get this option for online gaming as well since we all live so far apart now. Thanks

                          Some recent thoughts.

                          1. Fix PC controllers to function like Xbox/PS3
                          2. Have different post cuts. When player receives ball in post the offense needs to have a cutter then move around the perimeter to open spots. --See Orlando vs Cleveland series
                          3. Fix rotations so all 12 man don't play in all 82 games
                          4. Injuries should actually work. Increase injury frequency for simmed play and make players actually sit out games for simmed stats with role players replacing there minutes.
                          5. Players decline at the age of 31 significantly!! At least most should.
                          6. PLAYBOOKS!!!! - Give us a play creator! Let us assign each teams top 8 plays that they run and at what frequency!

Damn, some of you guys went in. If the guys from 2K are actually reading this:
-Presentation. I want it to feel/sound like an NBA Broadcast. Clark Kellogg has got to go from the broadcast team. I loved how the early 2Ks had the starting lineups like in an actual live game. What happened to that? The pre-game intros slowly deteriorated as the series went on. If there is going to be a halftime show, put an effort in to make it decent instead of an empty chair in a studio.

There were a few gameplay issues that I had but can't think of right now. Hopefully, these issues get fixed and there is improvement with 2k10. If its anything like 2k9 I am done with 2k basketball.

i think the most important thing to fix is all the darn morphing that goes on almost every play.
