Wanted to let you guys see my team I know it ain't realistic really but I want that championship for shaq so im building around him.
Chris Bosh is the scoring leader with 29.3 a game. Bosh is the rebound leader as well with 8.5 a game. Nash is assist leader of course with 8.7. Posey is my steal leader with 1.5 a game. Shaq leads blocks with 1.1 a game. My starting 5 is Nash, Barbosa, Posey, Bosh, O'neal. I have some solid players on the bench too with Bell, Brevin Knight, Dragic, Songaila, Lopez, Singletary, and Tucker.

Has an injury ever pissed you off?

Man, the best player on my team just got assaulted by Granger on a fast break (during a massive run we were having), and he tore his Achilles. Funny thing is, Granger was hurt earlier in the game too, making me feel like he done it on purpose

          Re: ASSOCIATION PROGRESS

Carrying on my Houston franchise of playing every game of a 82 game season, I'm now 10-0 after a grueling part of teh scheduled.

Beat the Lakers 115-90. Tmac had 36 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. We had 6 players in double digit scoring in Tmac, Yao, Barry, Head, Brooks and Artest. Kobe lead the Lakers with 26 points and shot 10 out of 25 but nailed all his free throws. Bynum had a double double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Farmar came up with 13 assists, was hoping to keep all the players down in double digit assists.

Had the Suns next, wasn't hoping for a close battle but they stayed in touch with us even though we built a 7 point lead at the half. We disposed of them 109-98. The main reason for this, we shot 12% from downtown, hitting 2 out of 12 attempts. Tmac, Artest and Rafer couldn't hit anything from beyond the arc in this game. Only Barry and Head came up with any 3 pointers in the game. But Tmac dominated with 48 points and Artest did end with a double double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Scola also brought down 10 rebounds but all in the first half.

Played against the Spurs next and this was all about Yao Ming. He ended the game with a triple double with 30 points, 18 rebounds and 11 assists. I started with alot of switches and had Yao on Parker or Manu and that forced the Spurs into a double team and Yao kicked it out to Rafer who nailed his 3 pointers in this game. Yao was hitting everything inside, every layup felt like it was dropping and every jumpshot was falling, he was dominating Duncan in the low post and Yao just controlled the game and we ended up beating them 118-90. We nearly had a 20 point lead after the 1st quarter but the refs deemed Tmacs buzzer beater as going off after the buzzer and didn't count it.

Had the Hornets next, another game where we could of had a 20 point lead after the 1st quarter but again, the refs didn't count Tmacs buzzer beater. Extended the lead in the 2nd quarter and lead by 22 points at the half with a 62-40 lead at the half. But the 3rd quarter, we fell asleep. At the beginning, Yao went for a hook shot and airballed it, not hitting anything and I think it effected him. Because he wasn't able to hit anything after that for the entire quarter. Artest got into foul trouble after picking up a charge in the semi circle when driving to the basket against Peja. They pulled the score to 75-70 but we went on a 6-0 run thanks to Tmac. Returned the favour in the 4th and won that quarter 36-21 and won the game 115-95 with Tmac ending with 40 points and Yao had 23 points and 14 rebounds. Artest came up with 17 points and 12 rebounds with the limited minutes he had. Also, Steve Francis got some garbage time and he had 8 point in 5 minutes along with an assist.

Decided not to go with the Chicago trade, didn't feel right. So they traded Hinrich to the Clippers for Marcus Camby, even though the Grizzlies were offering a 1st round draft pick.

              Re: ASSOCIATION PROGRESS

Playing every game with the Utah Jazz in the first year, I'm currently sitting at 4-3. I've lost to the Clippers twice and the Blazers but have a three game winning streak going at the moment. I'm playing eight minute quarters on All-Star. The only trade I've done so far is Matt Harpring, Jarron Collins, and Brevin Knight to the 76ers for Andre Miller. My team's stats break down like this:

              PPG:
              Deron Williams 19.0
              Mehmet Okur 14.7
              Carlos Boozer 13.0
              Andrei Kirilenko 10.1
              Kyle Korver 9.7

              RPG:
              Boozer 6.7
              Okur 5.1
              Kosta Koufos 2.7
              Andre Miller 2.6
              Kirilenko 2.6

              APG:
              D-Will 11.6
              Miller 5.4
              Ronnie Price 3.5
              Okur 3.3
              AK 2.1

Kosta Koufos has been a big surprise for me, getting 9.0 PPG and 2 RPG off the bench. Ronnie Brewer and CJ Miles are making a good combo at the 2 spot, averaging a combined 13.7 PPG. I'm trying to get everybody invovled in the offensive and it's proving quite a challenge. Boozer doesn't know how to roll on a pick and roll and fouls too much so I usually end up putting in Paul Millsap, who can't score a lot but is a great defender for me. I just put Booze on the trading block and I'll see what I can get for him. Hopefully, if I move him, it'll create more scoring chances for AK-47 and Memo. My next three games are all on the road, against the Wizards, Bobcats, and Cavs. Cavs are probably the only team that'll give me a challenge. So, we'll see what happens.

Playing a 4 teamer with the Raptors, Nuggets, Cavaliers and Grizzlies. Simmed a week because of an annoying injury to Kenyon Martin (if anyone's seen my videos, the one where he dives for a loose ball that was actually in Yao's hands and separates his shoulder slamming into the hoop post) and to get some offers on trading block. After the Rockets game I'll edit in how my teams are doing.

                    Re: ASSOCIATION PROGRESS

0-1 as the Celtics. I restarted my association after the Iverson trade, I was like 5-1 in the old one.

Lost to the Cavs even though I forced Lebron into a bad game, the game was pretty close through the first 3 quarters but my guys were tired at the end of the 3rd so my bench players were in at the start of the 4th and that's when Cleveland went out on a quick run and pulled away. I pulled my starters with 3-4 minutes left when it was too late to comeback so I could just be fresh to play another day.

Why would I want to do that? There's already a log jam at the 2 with Brewer, CJ Miles, and Morris Almond all getting mintues there. Plus, Deron runs this team and he couldn't do that at the 2. It hurt Andre's morale to move him to a sixth man role but he's getting sixteen mintues a game and hasn't complained yet.

With the way I play, it's been hard to score more with Boozer. I use my bench a lot so his scoring is going to suffer.

Since my last update, I lost to the Wizards in overtime when D-Will missed two game winners (one in regulation, one in OT), beat the Bobcats in a blow out but D-Will sprained his wrist and is hurt for 1-2 weeks. And then got blown out by the Cavs 93-74. Deron sat out a lot of the game since I couldn't do anything with him, Mo Williams dominate Andre Miller, and Lebron was a beast on D. I didn't get any good trade offers for Boozer so I guess he's gonna stick around for at least another week. Which is good, cause his scoring should step up with D-Will hurt.

I just think that moving Deron to the 2 would give you a better starting 5, and put your best players on the court at the same time. Plus, you would then have two rested scoring options coming off the bench.

Brewer could play the 3 and Korver/Miles could split time as the back-up SG.

It's not conventional, but it could work out good.

Can somebody help me out with some good rebound settings for all-star difficulty 6 minute quarters, I would like to see more for my team and the cpu right now I have them all on 100 for myself and the cpu but I haven't played a game with them yet I will let u all know how it goes. When I watched the cpu vs cpu with them set like that they seemed better but I don't know about myself.

If deron was at the 2 then who will be your backup point guard? and how will moving all these minutes from the shooting guard postion effect your rotation and detrimental morale of the abundance of SGs on the jazz.
