my first pick was Ray Allen, my favorite player. In the past Ive drafted the same way with better results. By the end of season 1, Id be around the 11-16 win mark and holding or fighting for an 8 seed. If I thought this years version of NBA 2k was going to be tougher I would have drafted better.
Im playing the PC version this year.

I hate quitting associations so Ill just gut out the season.
3-23 aint that bad,...ok yes it is, but on the bright side I'm looking at a potential #1 pick in the draft.

Well...After it was in the bag for Obama ...

It was off to gm 27 of my 76ers association.

December 20th gm vs the Indiana Pacers.

This one was decided in the 1st qtr as I got out to a 20 pt lead at one point only to see Indy cut that down and finish the qtr w/ me up 25-16. They never once got the lead, but got w/in 6 at one point late in the 3rd.

          Here's how it breaks down:
          IND: (Qtr 1-4) 16 22 23 24
          PHI: (Qtr 1-4) 25 24 20 28

          Shooting:
          IND = 37/94FG; 4/18 3pt; 7/11FT - 39% from field.
          PHI = 41/83FG; 6/10 3pt; 9/15FT - 48% from field.

          Notables:
          Iggy 37min; 24pts; 2reb; 2ast; 1blk.
          Thad 35min; 23pts; 7reb; 1ast; 1blk.
          Brand 30min; 10pts; 9reb; 6ast; 3stl; 1blk.
Rec'd Achievement for holding opp. team under 40% shooting.

Indy's highest scorer was Dunleavy w/ 13. They also had 4 other players in double digits. Danny Grainger (along w/ Elton Brand) shot horribly from the field. I would say that the deciding factor in this game was my 3 pt shooting - shooting 60% from 3 - Because I hit 3 or 4 3's when Indy was getting close. Only to go back up by 11 or 9, and continue to maintain a double digit lead throughout the gm.

So how do you guys feel about setting up practice? I get that designating practice with a concentration on a certain player temporarily ups their attributes but does practicing players help the overall development of a player or not?

Seems like a few of my players have only moderately improved over 3 seasons. Would practicing them more help them get better quicker or not?

My opinion on practice is that it is only an interim/temporary increase to your players. I don't really think it improves their overall, but only for that gm which they were practicing for.

Is anybody else using Charlotte these guys are a much better team than I expected. My record is 5-4 1st in my division thats not a great record but they are pretty awesome to play with I have thrown countless alleys to G force and J rich and Felton is the quickest I have seen so far.

Yes! I love my avy too...I was going to get a WS Champs hoodie so I can wear it proudly over the next couple of months...

Our numbers are quite similar...I've been awesome w/ Thad Young though so he is 2nd in pts for me, ahead of EB.

In my Nets Assoc., i am currently 34-17. No one expected us to be this good in the league. We are actually 1st in the Eastern Conference. Anyways here are some of my individual stats so far in the season:

                              Points Per Game
                              Vince Carter-25.2
                              Devin Harris-17.5
                              Yi Jianlian-12.7

                              Rebounds Per Game
                              Brook Lopez-5.7
                              Chris Wilcox-5.6
                              Yi Jianlian-4.6

                              Assists Per Game
                              Devin Harris-10.4
                              Vince Carter-5.0
                              Keyon Dooling-4.6

As you can see, my team isn't a good rebounding team with those low averages. But i do distribute the ball very well and everyone gets a good amount of minutes and points.

10 to 15 games into the season, i put Jarvis Hayes on the trading block just after waiving Maurice Ager and Stromile Swift(i tried to trade him, but i didn't get any offers) and trading Trenton Hassell to the Grizzlies for a 2nd Round Draft Pick. But eventually i received a great offer from the 76ers:

                              76ers get:
                              Jarvis Hayes

                              Nets get:
                              Thaddeus Young and Eric Piatkowski

Of course i accepted that trade and Thaddeus Young came out to be a great player for me but i waived Piatkowski.

But soon both Josh Boone and Bobby Simmons demanded more playing time even though they get 22+ minutes. I got another great offer and this time it was from the Pistons:

                              Pistons get:
Josh Boone and 09 2nd Round Draft Pick

                              Nets get:
                              Rodney Stuckey

I also made this trade with the Thunder becuase Simmons wanted out and Najera hasn't been playing too good for me, and they accepted it:

                              Thunder get:
Bobby Simmons, Eduardo Najera, and 09 2nd Round Draft Pick

                              Nets get:
                              Chris Wilcox and Desmond Mason

                              This is my current rotation:
                              PG-Devin Harris/Keyon Dooling/Rodney Stuckey
                              SG-Vince Carter/Chris Douglas-Roberts/Rodney Stuckey
                              SF-Thaddeus Young/Yi Jianlian and/or Ryan Andersen/Desmond Mason
                              PF-Yi Jianlian/Ryan Andersen/Sean Williams
                              C-Chris Wilcox/Brook Lopez/Sean Williams

I mix and match with Stuckey and Sean Williams and sometimes play Yi or Andersen at the 3. Everthing is turning out great for me until my last game-Yi is complaining about getting more minutes. LOL

Well this is my association! Please comment on it.

But eventually i received a great offer from the 76ers:

                                76ers get:
                                Jarvis Hayes

                                Nets get:
                                Thaddeus Young and Eric Piatkowski

Of course i accepted that trade and Thaddeus Young came out to be a great player for me but i waived Piatkowski.
                                AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

You've completely ruined my 76ers by trading away one of youngest best all-around talents in the league for a journeyman injury prone swingman w/ not a smidget of upside.

You should be ashamed of yourself...raping the CPU like that.

You know everytime a player gets 'out of hand' demanding this or that you don't have to move them out of town or give in to their demands...
